  1. I can run a 500 meter dash in the buff right here in the real world. Wield swords, slay dragons, fight monsters, explore perilous dungeons, find treasure, and wear cool armor? Not so much. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif
  2. I think it's sad that she only wants the baby so she can use him... for whatever she wants to use it for. I don't know if having the soul of a god will grant him some supermagical powers or something. Poor kid.

But what I wonder is, why does she think she's always going to be able to gain power or whatever she wants through him? The kid's the one with the "power", she's just his mom. Why would he want to listen to his mom forever? Especially if she's a creepy crusty and evil little wench like that. What makes her think he's going to let her use him forever? What's stopping him from rebelling and refusing to let her control him use him anymore when he gets older? She rebelled against her own mom so what's stopping him from doing the same and ditching her to make his own way in the world? He's a human too so I won't be surprised if that does happen.

I hope my point makes sense. I'll be interested to see what the results are if the writers do this, which they should since it's the most realistic route.

It's strange that Morrigan would think she'd be able to control him any better than her own mother was able to corral her. Why did she not think of this ahead of time?

I wonder if the guy's going to end up going through a "I just want to be normal!" kind of thing.

  3. It was a beautiful service they had, I was fairly surprised because it was all paid for by the city, since the family was unable to cover the expenses. I didn't really know the lady very well, she was our neighbor, I only spoke to her a few times but she was my mom's friend, and I went because I really wanted to be there for her.

Despite the circumstances, it was wonderful to see her daughter Sarah again. I also met her older half-brother, who I'm surprised her mom never talked about because he's really an awesome guy. Her biological father was there beside her the whole time, I don't know the story on what happened between him and her mom but I was very happy he was there for his daughter. I also met Sarah's foster mum, who I took a strong liking to almost immediately, she's a very lovely person and she obviously loves and cares for her very much. It made me very happy to see all these great people there to support her.

I'm home alone now, but I feel extremely drained emotionally. I think I need to do something to put myself in higher spirits and get happier. The fact that it was raining while we were at the cemetery certainly didn't improve things.

But now I feel a great and renewed appreciation for life, and everything I have. I'm grateful and happy to be alive.

  4. For some reason the sound is all weird in my game, like randomly sometimes it'll go all weird and it sounds muffled. It's very strange. I know I posted about this before but now I can't find the old thread the the solution someone gave me which worked perfectly, please can someone help me fix this again? It's because my computer recently got wiped so everything got reset... :(
  5. Well the kid is the reincarnation of a heathen god - of the very very much hated Tevinter Imperium. Don't know how well that would bode for Scotland, err I mean Ferelden, if he did have any legit claim to the throne. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif
  6. I only installed a few programs that are totally unrelated to Obliivion... my computer was wiped and everything a few weeks ago but it was working when I last played it a few days ago.

I did however install directx 9.0c yesterday, could that be it? :(

  7. I have not downloaded any mods recently, but now suddenly after not playing with it for a couple days my Oblivion will not start, it starts but then it just loads a tiny bit, and then it stops and will not load anymore... please help? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif
  8. Assuming you spared her dad and then had him do the "thing" with Morrigan of course... http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif

How do you think Queen Anora would react if she were to find out about the ritual and the fact that she has a little half brother? And especially that he is basically the reborn Urthemiel. Hmm...

  9. Let's say a new planet was discovered that could support carbon based life forms. Or perhaps they terraformed an uninhabitable planet to make it habitable.

Then let's say, you along with a bunch of other people were given the opportunity to pack up your things and move to the newly established colony on this planet. It's a great opportunity that no human being has ever had before - the chance to go to a whole new world and start a new life. And the chance to be part of a truly glorious, great and incredible thing, a massive step forward for humanity.

You can take all of your worldly possessions with you, and you can take all of your family (including pets) along.

The colony also already has all of the basic necessities of a community - access to clean water, electricity, housing, free health care access, schools, etc, etc, so no worries about those things.

The drawback, however, is that due to the distance and the costs of keeping you all cryogenically sustained for the duration of the trip, it is extremely unlikely that you will ever be allowed to back out of the offer and return to Earth, ever. So, you won't ever see your old home or anyone you left behind ever again. You also do not truly know what this new world is like, or what your new life will be like in the colony, either, so there's no guarantee you'll be completely happy with what you get.

Would you take this chance of a lifetime, or would you choose to stay here on Earth?

  10. I've wanted to try it but it's made by a German team, so therefore the whole thing is in German. Does anyone know if it's been fully translated into English yet? I don't want to DL it otherwise... :(

    Must have mother tongue.

  11. Unplanned pregnancy and troubled children who grew up without fathers sell too? Ee http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif Cruel...

I kinda wish females PC's would get treated more fairly, it seems like the whole world sees them as men except they're not considered attractive or something.
