  1. If a woman killed the baby while it was still inside her, it's considered perfectly acceptable and legal. But if she decided not too, but the baby was born the next day and then she changed her mind and killed it, she'd be pinned up as a murderer.

    Why? It doesn't make sense.

  2. Does anyone else find it painfully ironic that by the end of the DB questline, all the lovable killers you knew at the beginning are dead? Is this supposed to be our punishment for being evil psychopath or something?

Also, when we get back to Applewatch after visiting Anvil, how come saying "But Lucien WAS NOT THE TRAITOR!" and presenting the evidence and saying "Okay, which one of you lives under the lighthouse in Anvil?" and rooting out the traitor right then and there is not an option? Even though it's already too late to save our beloved Lucien, at least it might have saved the lives of Banus and Belisarius. Then the new Listener wouldn't be left with nearly as much of a broken, disorganized, and horribly weakened mess of a Brotherhood and nearly non-existant Black Hand to work with.

And that brings me to another point. How is it Mathieu Bellamont is able to stab Banus and Belisarius once and instantly kill them with only a rusty little dagger when both of them have nice longswords? Why do they make no effort whatsoever to defend themselves and fight him?

  3. How do I get a texture to use a glowmap in game? The glowmap has the _g at the end of the name which I thought was all that was needed, but ingame I'm not seeing the glow effect I want... it's an eye texture btw...
  4. Why do NPC khajiits have their ears all perked up nicely when just walking around doing nothing, but PC khajiit's ears are always pinned back like they're angry?.. Is there anything that fixes this?
  5. Thank you... it worked and now ob will exit without crash, but graphic settings still won't keep and I don't know why. Like if I load up a game, then press ESC, adjust my video settings, then go back to the game, then press ESC and look at my video settings again they've all reset again. Even though they're all set to max in the main menu.
  6. Actually no, the very original version of Oblivion had nipples on the female skins. Seriously, if you go through the original BSA archives, they're there. Beth just covered it up with a bra.

But then the textures were modified to be barbiedolls in future patches when that darned ESRB caught onto it...

  7. I go in and fine tune the graphics preferences the way I want them in game, but as soon as I return the game they immediately reset to the way they were before and it's pissing me off so much because for the life of me, I cannot figure out how the hell to fix this. Using saveini cheat did nothing to fix the problem. :wallbash:
  8. I reset and then modified the base heads for the elven races to make them look a little better; mainly because I wanted to make it easier to make good looking player characters. I didn't change that much, I kept Dunmer ashy blue and Altmer pale gold like lore says they are supposed to be, mostly I just changed them all so their eyes aren't so ridiculously slanted because it looked ridiculous, and I made the features look a bit more natural.

But now with the modded heads, it seems to have distorted the headmorphs for a lot of the characters of those races... some look a lot prettier than they did before, but at the same time now a lot of the elves in my game have distorted face colors and shapes and they look really ugly... well, not that much uglier than they did before, but still pretty flugly.

    Any advice?

  9. How come there doesn't seem to be any cross breeding in TES universe? (save for the Grey Prince but he's kind of a special case, plus he's really just an Orc like any other)

What would happen if two folks of different races were to get together and have a kid?

  10. Thanks guys xx :)

really interesting in a mod that puts you in vampire faction, just because I think it's really dumb that in vanilla game, NPC vampires still try to attack you if you're a vampire yourself, because it's totally pointless. (I'm pretty sure it's no good drinking the blood of another vampire)

  11. Well I say why not, I was surprised because I just didn't think they were the type to get romantically involved with others, but if they are together, I think that's awesome.

Telaendril sure seems to like him, and why not? He may be a violent brute, and being an orc he's rather ugly, but with fellow Dark Brotherhood members he's a really nice and charming guy. Telaendril's pretty cool aswell, and she's quite a looker too.

  12. Well ever since I got the LTD vampire overhaul, suddenly no fix for the ugly face bug will work anymore?

EggDropSoap's won't work, and neither will the vampire race disabler (causes my game to crash when I load a save). And I don't know what to do, my vampire character looks like complete crap.

  13. Is there any way to stop vampire race effects from being applied to specific races but not others?

My concern is mostly with the eyes. On most races it looks great, but on Dunmer it looks a little wrong because they already have very red eyes. Same with Khajiits and Argonians, but worse because suddenly they lose their feline/reptilian eyes and get the human-like vampire ones instead.

Alternatively is there a way to get the game to apply vampiric versions of the Khajii/Argonian/Dunmer eyes to them instead of the default ones?

  14. So what are epically your favourite quest lines in Oblivion??

Obviously I adore the DB questline. Not just because being evil is cool, there's certainly that, but it's also largely because the Dark Brotherhood quests are epically the most fun in the whole game. I don't know why, but they just... are! I think the writers put a lot of thought and care into the quests. They're soo awesome. <3

I also think the Mages Guild questline is pretty good. It starts out slow, because at the beginning it's really boring where you have to literally run all over Cyrodiil doing mundane personal favors for the different guildhall leaders. But then once you get past that it gets better... massacring Necromancers is fun. :turned:

I also think the main quest isn't too bad. A lot of people don't like it, just because it's the main quest, but I don't think it's so bad.

The 15 different Daedric quests are pretty fun too. The thing is the rewards are so cool, when I come to the main storyline quest where you have to give one up, I have a really hard time choosing which one to give...

The Thieves Guild quest are alright, not terribly good but not that bad either. Most of them I didn't find very fun, like "Taking Care of Lex" (I always kill him after the quest is finished). Probably the one I hated the most though was the last one, where you have to go through that massive, mundane and annoying dungeon crawl just to get into the imperial palace, even though it's 100x easier and faster to just sneak past the guards around the front door.
