    Arena and Daggerfall

    Well Nexus doesn't have any sections for Arena or Daggerfall, so I'll post this here.

     

    Has anyone ever actually player Arena or Daggerfall? Does anyone still play them? Even though they're old as the heck (Arena came out just months after I was born, and Daggerfall even before I started kindergarten!), I still play them a lot. They're awesome, the entire Elder Scrolls series is one of my all time faves.:wub:

     

    The graphics are obviously outdated now, but they're pretty darn awesome for the 90's. And the graphics don't get me down anyway, I still love them. TES forever. <3

    Floating University

    I tryed using the BSA redirection utility in OBMM but it didn't work, I don't know why the mesh is missing. I'm 100% sure I installed it properly. And I'm sure I have no other mods that touch the imperial city or any of the stair meshes...

    I really wish Dragon Age was as moddable as Oblivion. Seriously, I had ambitions that I had to give up on! Take, for example, my desire to build on Orzammar and really expand the whole city to make it seem larger...

     

    But I had to give up on it when I realized that making adjustments to world spaces is nigh impossible in DA with the toolkit... :wacko:

    Floating University

    Please help... lately I've noticed some bugs with terrain textures being weird, seemingly displaced, but that didn't cause an actual problem.

     

    But now I'm the Path of Dawn quest, and I cannot get into the Arcane University because it's floating 15 feet up in the air.

     

    I tried disabling a bunch of different mods that I thought might be causing it, but it didn't work. Uni is still borked.

    Sword belt

    Is there a mod that adds a sword belt or something that visibly holds swords/daggers to character's waists? They look awfully silly and weird just floating there...

    Puppy/Kitten Mills

    Do you think that operating puppy/kittens mills is wrong and should be illegal? I sure as hell do.

     

    I have a strong suspicion that my very first cat came from a kitten mill, because he was in such poor health when we purchased him from the pet store (and he even had a number of health problems that lingered for the rest of his life), and why he was so aggressive with food (probably because he was kept in extremely sh*tty conditions where he wasn't taken proper care of and literally had to fight for his food).

     

    I'm disgusted that any pet store would be willing to purchase kittens and puppies from these places and I think it should be stopped. As far as I know, these mills are not illegal in either Canada or in the United States, which is really upsetting to me. I absolutely despise them, I think it's wrong for innocent little kittens and puppies to so poorly bred and raised in dumps by people who just want to profit from them.

     

    Down with kitten and puppy mills I say. Throw those disgusting animal abusers in prison, take the animals away to a better place, and burn them all to the ground.

    On any kind of drug? I did once, I accidentally overdosed on some over the counter sleeping medication (diphenhydramine), and it was terrible. I got really, really sick and I had to stay in the hospital overnight.

     

    It was just awful. I was drifting in and out of consciousness, it was messing with my short term memory so I was extremely delirious and confused, my mouth was parched dry and no amount of water I drank would help it, my whole body felt so heavy and numb that I couldn't move, I was hallucinating, I was shaking all over, and I had a lot of trouble telling what was real and what wasn't. Heck, I don't have very many specific memories of that night.

     

    Probably the scariest part was how it affected my memory, and how it made me see things that weren't there. I remember I kept thinking I was at school for some reason, I swear I kept seeing all kinds of weird things, and people I knew from school walking by my bed. I kept asking if I could go and get my clothes from the change room, and Dad kept getting annoyed with me and saying, "You're not at school, you're at the hospital!"... horrible, horrible, horrible. It was just one of the worst things I've ever experienced.

     

     

    Dad said one of the nurses wasn't very nice to me because I said something rude to her, but I was so out of my mind I don't even remember. However I behaved or whatever I said, I feel bad about and wish I could have apologized.

     

     

    Of course, I'm never going to be so stupid to let something like that happen again.,,

     

     

     

    Of Noble Birth...

    It sucks that Of Noble Birth was such a small sidequest... I know it was only available to male dwarven noble characters who decided to sleep with Mardy, and it was bugged so you'd always fail the quest regardless of what you did, but heck I think they wasted an EXTREMELY good plot. I wish they had done more with it, gone further with the story.

     

    It sucks that we never hear anything about Lord Aeducan's son after that. Anyone have any guesses as to what is going to becomes of him? Is he gonna be the King someday or what?
