I'm getting annoyed that I have to to re-fine tune my ingame settings every time I start up Oblivion because for some reason, every time I do or load up a save, all the settings reset to default and I don't know why... help? :sad:

How Beth made it impossible for even modders to make it so races can have different body types...<br><br>And those random, annoying thumping sounds you hear everywhere you go.<br>

Are there any body mesh and texture mods out there that actually look natural and realistic for both sexes?... I'm not interested in any of these "fantasy figure" mods that give either males or females exaggerated feautures that are obv just for sexual appeal.

If you ask Gogron gro-Bolmog (the Orc guy in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary) about "Rumors", he says "Hey, I don't like to tell stories, but Telaendril and me... you know. Don't believe me? I've got her undergarments to prove it! Ha ha ha ha ha!" (just so you know, Telaendril is the Bosmer lady in the sanctuary)
Is that supposed to mean him and her had sex or something?!?!!? :blink:

Why does the game crash every time I attempt to loot an equipped item from a corpse? Pocketed items I can loot, but anything that's equipped to the NPC (clothing, armor, weapon, etc...) the game just crashes on me....
No mods did not fix...

Making a new door with the ayleid hidden door script worked, thank you!!
But what do you mean? I could only link the lever to the door, not the door to the lever, because the lever did not appear on the list of enable parents in the cell...

Both door and switch are activators but for some reason I still cant get the switch to open the door, I set both to persistent reference, set the lever enable parent to the door, but it still isn't working...
I'm using the hidden barrel door and a switch lever like the one in Leyawiin Castle btw...

Is there any way to copy all the objects in an interior cell in one plugin, then switch to another plugin and paste them into that one? Or take the data from just one room and cut out all the other modded cells data? or something...
I'm trying to but it isn't working at all. See I screwed up and merged two plugins which contained multiple modded rooms, but now I want just one room and put it into a different plugin so I don't have to start all over with hours of tedious work...

But I already tried reinstalling twice, and using the console command to skip that stage did not work, still crashed. :sad:

nevermind, restarting fixed the issue with other corpses. But as soon as I loot the amulet and the quest update pops up, it still goes boom.<br>

I tried everything, I tried deactivating all my mods, I tried reinstalling, I tried everything. But nothing will work. Now I'm stuck because I can't complete the Necromancer's Amulet quest, because after I loot it from caranya's corpse, the game runs for just a couple more seconds, then the quest update appears and the game immediately crashes.
Please help. :sad:

When the Necromancers attacked the Bruma mages guildhall, and slaughtered all but one of the mages there, why the hell did the Bruma guards do nothing to intervene? You'd think they would have noticed a bunch of strange black robed people flocking to the guildhall, and raised their suspicions. And you'd also think someone would have heard the screaming or seen the fires burning and raised the alarm.
Damn you freaking Bruma guards, you let my friends die...

I think I tried, but it did not work. Am I supposed to name the objects something specific?

How do you create a secret door that opens when you pull a switch or something? I've tried but I can't figure out how to link the two together so said switch triggers the door open. Every time I've tried, I go in the game and test it but the switch doesn't open the door.

Well, IMO the idea that any human/vampire would be want to bang an orc is reason enough to be depressed. :pinch:
But if you want him to fight you right, then just don't do his quest. He'll never know about Papa Vamp, so he won't go all suicidal on you and will battle you like a champion.
Funny thing is though usually my character is him/her self a vampire, which makes me want to say to him, "What are you so depressed about? What's wrong with being half vampire? I'm a vampire. What's so bad about our kind?"

Is there reason why suddenly every NPC in my game has their lips glued shut? When they talk, none of them will move their mouths and I don't know why.

thanks you xx Also I must say the fact that Bethesda left out the ability to remove corpses like we could in Morrowind is really irritating too...
and how bad the NPC conversational AI is... it's really weird :confused:
also, why do merchants never bother restocking their shops and people never redecorate their houses after their stuff has been stolen?
