This is a pretty thorough list of things you can spawn. Go spawn some next to the beta wave emitter and see what happens. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=560634546

I'm shocked this game doesn't just have solar panels. 99% of the time the sun is scorching the hell out of everything, people are always complaining about how hot it is, and we know the tech is there because there was a whole field of them in FO3. I'm equally shocked there isn't a mod for it already. Think about it....silent power (even quieter than the quieter settlement mod) and they're on the roof of your house instead of wherever else you'd put a generator. No noise, no smoke, no fuel to worry about, out of the way. What more can you ask for?

Who do you wish you could romance?
TheOriginalEvilD replied to spinspider's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Trashcan Carla. I love how she stands there like a puppet on strings with no idle animation whatsoever. So hawt. -
I would have been happy with an arena like Oblivion had where the player fought, but honestly there's just no point in me setting up a fight against anything since I can just go out and scavenge and get into plenty fights. I also think there's some real untapped potential in the Combat zone for this. That could've been the place for this.

I'll give it a try. Thanks

So, overall I'd say I'm a supporter of this game. I love it. I have nearly 400 hours into it, and it's the only game I've played since it came out (completely broke me off of GTA5, thank God). But, the settlement building, specifically the way pieces refuse to snap into places that SHOULD easily snap into, is getting real friggin old. I'm not talking about trying to clip something into a spot that may or may not fit, I'm talking about something as simple as putting a wall onto the side of a damn platform. This latest DLC seems by far the worst yet for this. I'm using the Simple Intersection mod but it doesn't seem to make a difference with these pieces. I spent this morning building a pretty simple arena which should have been very easy to build since it was raised off the ground so there isn't anything it should have been clipping, but the damn walls just won't go into place. Then, there's the AI. I first built a pretty over the top arena that had two settler doors (one for each team red/blue) and then several other doors for each type of creature. This way I could have fights with all sorts of creatures and all sorts of combinations. I tried it out first with the settlers, and they just stood there. OK, so they weren't in a straight line of sight, I guess that's the problem. So, I rebuild the whole thing with just two settler doors and one deathclaw door, but I made sure to make the settler doors right across from each other, with 4 floor platforms of space between them. Still stood there. Ok fine I guess I'll ring a damn bell to get them to come out. This works, but then the whole town comes. SHM Then I try it with the deathclaw....oh don't worry about that because the entire town rushes over to destroy him before the dumbass settler even leaves his "pad". Oh, and I hope you don't have turrets anywhere close to your arena, because they'll rain down hell on your creatures. So, I guess the only way you can really do this is if you pick a settlement and dedicate it solely to an arena with no defense, no settlers, and you just send settlers over one at a time if you want them to fight. So much for immersion. On a brighter side, I do love the new concrete stuff, despite the way it refuses to snap together worth a crap. The concrete steps are GREAT especially since they easily snap together to make longer stairs without that flat platform between each section like the wooden stairs uses. I also like the steel rails, string lights (hell a lot of the light options FINALLY...can't believe we didn't get simple desk lamps with the base game). But, overall I gotta say I'm happy with this DLC, but also really frustrated by it at the same time. I know someone is sure to come in and tell me how they're not having any problems at all with it...I'm not sure what I could be doing wrong, it's just building after all. If anyone is aware of a mod that can make this easier for me, I'd like to hear it. Would that "place anywhere" mod fix this? Sometimes it's something as simple as the power door only snapping with the power connector on the inside and it won't let me spin it around to place it the other way. I don't get it.

Anyone else think these things are huge? They won't fit on a floor platform with walls built around it. When you're building an arena you need to keep your opposing fighters out of sight from each other or they'll just attack, so I build little boxes for them to stand in until I throw the switch and open their doors. But, I have to build a 2x2 walled building to fit the contestant stand in...it would be a lot easier if those were shrunk down by 50% or so, or even switched out for rugs or mats.

Wasteland Workshop - All new items

I wonder if that was an oversight. Hopefully they'll fix that. If not, the usual will probably apply...a mod will fix it. -

There is one undeniably awesome part of this DLC that I haven't seen anyone mention yet... Those damn synth spies....those MF'ers are gonna fight to the death now  -
QUIETER ROBOT COMPANIONS
TheOriginalEvilD replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I ended up just using Mr. Handy legs on all my bots to get around this. They're quiet and faster this way anyhow, but it would be nice to have some variety if there ever is a mod that quiets them down. I don't wanna turn down the footstep slider because then I can't hear enemies. -
Double action Kellogg's Pistol/.44 revolvers?
TheOriginalEvilD replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Someone made a mod that removed the Deliverer slide racking animation, so you just draw it and fire. The cocking mechanism can't be that much different. It may have to wait for the GECK but seems it could be changed to the 10mm animation or something to eliminate the cocking. -
I don't think such a thing exists or ever will exist. If it were so common that it could simply be found and made, we would already be living in that reality. A much more likely case, for this game reality, is that this component has been so widely used in all sorts of things that it can easily be scavenged from just about anywhere.

I love survival mode but miss my mods
TheOriginalEvilD replied to CalibanX's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
They really should up the damage on missiles, because using them feel like such a waste. Though, this also makes life harder for you as a player, hard to balance really. This is what I hope the damage system does in survival. Honestly I don't even care if I'm killed or very nearly killed by a missile...it's a MISSILE after all. This will make you work that much harder to scout out locations before you run in with guns blazing. -

TheOriginalEvilD replied to CalibanX's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Same. My game has seen far more improvement and more enjoyable play through mods than through this survival. I'm also kinda holding out to see what modders do for a survival mod. -
I play this song for my girl all the time. She carries a Glock 43.

Faster power armor run speed?
TheOriginalEvilD replied to TheOriginalEvilD's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
If you mean via console, I tried that already but it doesn't seem to apply to power armor pieces. Otherwise if you mean this is a mod, I can't find it. -
"Someone was spotted leaving Vault 111"
TheOriginalEvilD replied to SunzoTheRed's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Travis repeats the same stories over and over throughout the course of the game. It could be a year later in game and he's still talking about you leaving the vault. I find it funny that he only mentions YOU leaving the vault, but then again I guess the last people to leave it before you did so 60 years prior, so he wasn't even alive at that time. -
I choose instute. Brotherhood of Steel enemy of my now.

You are the screwed. All your base are belong to us. Time to start a new play through. You may as well keep siding with the Institute and play out that side of the game while you're at it. In the future remember to back up your saves. -
Guilty. I get bored once it gets to a point where I just sneak around everyone and one shot everything in sight.

I don't get quite as serious about RP, but I try to make each play through a specific kind of person. My current one is named Carlos Hathcock...if you don't know who that is, you owe it to yourself to look it up. His sniper rifle is named White Feather  Here, let me Google that for ya lol
