  1. you're awesome, thanks for the ideas! I'll try to remember to credit you if I use them! :)
  2. okay, so I'm working on a cool new mod and I need to name some enchanted weapons...except I suck I coming up with cool names for enchanted weapons and armor. So, creative folks out there throw out any ideas you got for weapon names! The weapons will be both dark and light, mostly staff, sword, bows and arrows as well as a few shields and so far just one mace.
  3. okay, next weird question: I'm looking for a mod with some mundane objects like a hairbrush and other random household objects. I'm also looking for a wash stand. Stuff medieval folks might have lying around their house. Any ideas?
  4. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4254 Will this do the trick? Well, that's not the mod I was looking for, but it will work I guess. If anyone comes across a different one feel free to PM me. :)
  5. hey, I'm looking for a mod for the Imperial Dragon Armor which modifies the female version to make it, well, prettier. I know it exists but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any ideas oh wise ones?
  6. The Dining room: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/dininingroom.jpg The Magic Room (one of the two secret rooms): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/magicroom.jpg An overhead view of Lake View: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/overhead1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/overhead2.jpg
  7. More screenies for your viewing pleasure! And now you can meet the staff! Shopkeeper Turk: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Turk.jpg His wife Elisabelle: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Elisabelle.jpg Baker Joe: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/BakerJoe-1.jpg Maid Jalessa: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Jalessa-1.jpg Gardener Sikara: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/sikara.jpg Horse Caretaker Achima: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Achima.jpg Guard Damara: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Damara.jpg Guard Keekai: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/keekai.jpg Guard Hrolfgar the Hairy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Hrolfgarthehairy.jpg As always, I welcome comments and suggestions for things you'd like to see here!
  8. Hey, I've been commissioned to create a mod for someone and I need some African/Voo-Doo style decor to decorate it. However, there really isn't anything like that available right now. So if anyone out there wants to design some stuff to hang on the walls, maybe some furniture, etc., to help me out I would be most appreciative. I'm great with building spaces in the CS, but I don't know how to create new models or import already created models into Oblivion. If someone knows how to convert already created 3-D models for use in Oblivion, I would probably be able to find a lot of what I need on Renderosity in the free section.
  9. okay, this is gonna sound weird and totally off topic and I apologize in advance. However, I am looking for "The guy who is working on the centaur mod" and was told he'd been posting here. Would whomever that is please PM me? I have an idea for a horse mod and would like his input.
  10. More screenies, and a chance to 'meet' some of the NPC's that populate Lake View Village. First off, this is the Alchemy Book. It sits beside the alchemy table (which is static, no carrying around alchemy equipment. Everything is in one small area, easy to use, ready to go). Inside the Alchemy Book is a bunch of handy potion recipes. Can't take the book anywhere, so you won't lose it. And it looks cool, see? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/AlchemyBook.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/alchemybookinside.jpg I've tested almost all of the recipes inside and they work well! Now to meet some of the NPCs: This is Baker Joe, he runs the bakery: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/bakerjoe.jpg Baker Joe mostly hangs out in his bakery. He looks intimidating, but he's just as sweet as his pastries! This is Jalessa, the maid: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/Jalessa.jpg She's very pretty, and twice as efficient as she is pretty. She will pick up all your messes and keep everything tidy for you. And here we have Turk and Elisabelle: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/TurkandElisabelle.jpg They're a married couple that run the general store. Elisabelle specializes in alchemy equipment while Turk sells and repairs weapons and armor.
  11. I'm not looking to create new meshes, just a script to enable the player to make it appear as though the saddle and bridle is removed from the horse in-game. I think I like Brasher's idea...now I just need to find someone who can/will actually create the script.
  12. hm. You don't tihnk a script could be written to temporarily disable the bridle/saddle model? I relaly don't know enough about scripting to fully understand your answer I'm afraid. (The only script I'm brave enough to write myself is the ingredient sorter script I've used in a couple of my mods) Well, even if you did do it your way it would be workable. You activate the horse like you're going to mount it, only you get two options: Do you want to mount your horse or turn it out to pasture? You pick the pasture option, and the second, identical in appearance, horse appears with slightly different AI. The saddled horse will stay put no matter where you leave it, the unsaddled horse will wander around a pasture and eat grass, etc.
  13. I have an idea for an immersion mod that enables the player to remove the saddle and bridle from their horse when they put them out to pasture. The saddle and bridle are separate models so I'm thinking that - in theory - the script would involve temporarily disabling them. However, I can foresee a number of problems that one could run into, not the least of which is the number of horse mods there are out there. Since I am not very good at scripting, I'm asking you guys. Do you think it could be done? And if so, would one of you do it? :D
  14. ESPECIALLY Slof's Horses, lol. :)
  15. Okay, the first one is actually kind of an immersion mod. Basically it would give the player the ability to saddle and unsaddle their horse. Since the saddle and bridle are actually separate models, it is theoretically possible. I just like the idea of being able to put my horses out to pasture without their tack while I'm at home napping or something. If anyone can figure out a way to do it, I'd totally download that mod! I would do it myself but I'm not very good at scripting. It would make it even harder because of the various horse mods out there. The modder would have to make it compatible with the major ones like Slof's horses.
  16. A few more Screenies to whet your appetites! Mostly exterior views right now, so much of this place is a work in progress that the interiors aren't set in stone yet. Things are still changing as I add stuff, test in-game, then change stuff, test again, etc. Still, this place is LOADED with loot - TWO hidden rooms, lots of powerful weapons, a fence that will buy ANYTHING and sells the BEST weapons and armors. No god-items, but still lots of good loot! Anyways, here are the screenies! Let's start with a couple interior shots of the Alchemist's Cavern: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ALCHEMYCAVE.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/alchemycave2.jpg The Horse Pasture with your four new horses, Virtue, Valor, Courage and Charisma: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/horsepasture.jpg A glimpse of the Servants Quarters: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/servantquarters.jpg The Front Gate to Lake View village: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/FRONTGATE.jpg Finally a look at Lake View Manor itself: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/LakeviewHouse.jpg I'd love to hear your thoughts, but lets keep it as positive as possible. Or at least be nice with your constructive criticism! :)
  17. I hope so! :) Keep your eyes peeled for more screenies as the mod progresses!
  18. Dude, that IS harsh. I don't know how original Lake View itself is. I built it to fill my own needs as a gamer, so I'm hoping it will fill the needs of other gamers as well. A sort of one place for everything kind of home that's also pretty. I DO know that the quest to earn the Lordship of Lake View is completely original. I can guarantee that you haven't seen anything like this before.
  19. No, not a money sink. You're gonna have to earn it!
  20. Hey all! I'm building a sweet new mod that I'm so excited about I want to share some screenies in advance! The mod is a little village south of the Imperial City called Lake View. The town is seeking a new Lord to run things, and guess who fits the bill! I won't spoil the plot for you, but I will mention that it includes a retirement home for elderly adventurers! (Cause it's fun, that's why!) At the end of the quest you will be the proud Lord of a village that includes a bakery and shop, guard tower, a cottage for your servants, a museum and office area for you to display your trophies, a garden and a cave full of mushrooms and plants not native to Tamriel, four of the finest horses in Cyrodiil, and a beautiful manor house for you to call home. Here's a few screenies to whet your appetite! A map view of Lake View: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot275.jpg Some Exteriors: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot276.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot277.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot278.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot279.jpg and some Interiors (of your alchemy lab and library): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot280.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot281.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v385/coreinha/Oblivion%20Screenshots/ScreenShot282.jpg So tell me what you think!
  21. Hey, I'm working on a wicked cool new housing mod and I want to have some servants and guards. But I'm still just learning how to program NPCs to perform tasks like raking, sweeping, patrolling, etc. Does anyone know any good tutorials out there for programming NPC AI?
  22. Okay, I'm trying to get an NPC I made be a shopkeeper. But I can't seem to get it to work! I made the vendor chest and the NPC, and I've associated the chest with the NPC. I've put her in the Merchsmith class, in the AI button I set it so she trades everything and how much she money she has. But when I go to test ingame, I can talk to her but I can't trade with her. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?! Help!
