  1. You guys are right, but I'm talking about that specific mod (Leras). It does work, but it's the male version. Doesn't look bad, but it depends on your sense of aesthetics.
  2. I'm pretty sure you can, in fact, wear the armor. But it would still be the male version.
  3. Heh, and here I thought you were talking about Telvanni architecture. *chuckles*
  4. Well, there are no children just as there are no bathrooms. Those two are still myths in Tamriel.
  5. It's also nice to install one by one, then trying them out, so you can give endorsements when you like. It's hard to figure out which mod did what successfully, when you installed quite a few of them.
  6. I guess I'm being stereotypical...but: One handers, preference on katanas. I shun anything longer, except polearms, so I don't use any two-handers. Mostly I like one arm free, usually to hold a shield. Bow and Arrow - A good solid set up, I always believed that crossbows would break in my hands...or rust. And are a pain to reload. Fire Magic - Pretty standard, I add a bit of death magic to it as well, but I choose fire nonetheless.
  7. A tad, you do lose that sense of wonder, but in the end you would have even if there is no CS. And it's quite like Hammond say it is. Mods infuse a small sense of wonder afterward. Even so, I remember NWN2 fans saying that the game (edit#1: NWN2 itself, I thought I needed to clarify) was just useful as a CS and pretty graphics, but I didn't think it was in a complementary tone.
  8. I forgot to mention this, but replay value is quite important for a lot of games. At the very least there are plenty of games who take advantage of this with unlockables and such. It's all about a different experience, with a different race, class, and different decisions. Then again the class/race needs the appropriate skills to make it worthwhile. I know they made Oblivion for a larger audience, that's not lost on me, but it peeves me a bit. I don't want this game to be too exclusive either.
  9. Well, if I drink blood or can eat corpses (infringement of Imperial law), then I would love to have Claymore girls chasing me...I love the attention.
  10. It makes the game bland though...If you can be one class and achieve all guilds with little trouble, there's no real need for many classes except just one, since it makes little to no difference.
  11. I'm always left with the feeling that the MQ is an extended sidequest and not the main meat of the game, even though it probably was. Another let down was the quick promotions you get in the guilds, unlike Morrowind.
  12. "0001E729"? Wouldn't it be 'MQ07 100'? And why would you use 'caqs' if you only want a single quest completed? 'completequest MQ07' or 'setstage MQ07 100' would be more appropriate would it not? Yeah, guess it would. So long as it works, I think that's the right way. I actually thought that "caqs" completes the quest you are in but not every one. If so, I stand corrected.
  13. I'm not sure if you got the journal entry for the quest, if you didn't talk to Jauffre then open the console with "~" and type: "setstage 0001E729 ". If you did get the entry then type: "caqs" to complete the quest.
  14. Well, I guess we can all agree that the Landover people sound "smart", but lack the subtlety of many good parodies.
  15. Try moving Oblivion folder to another place, don't keep it in the default. This should work, it did for me. Oh, and one more thing, it doesn't work if you move the .exe only or have admin powers, although the latter one helps.
  16. Didn't make that small connection. Interesting. Also, TES:Arena was the first one, I'm not sure when Redguard came out...maybe after Battlespire.
  17. Because a single thread did not go down the "flame path" yet, is not much of a reason to lift the whole ban on religion.
  18. I'll tell you where they are, but it won't be much use without the quest starter, it's south of Cloud Ruler Temple around the Doomstone. However, the spies will not appear in the designated location, since Jauffre will direct you to talk with Captain Steffan for the directions. It's probably one of the two mods though, try deactivating one. See if you can find the mod that is breaking the quest. I know some mods are incompatible with the unofficial patches.
  19. Is there any other message you get when you activate the shrine? Aside from handing over the offering.
  20. For the Daedric Shrines you have to to get an offering, speak with the person in charge of the little cult, it's members always direct you to the head of each particular site. As for Fingers Of The Mountain, you need a welkynd stone and lighting spell. Always check the journal or something (a key item) that leads to the solution of a certain quest.
  21. I agree, and an easy target would be the Dark Brotherhood, yet they don't talk about it right off the bat. 'Sides, even if it were fake or real, to me it's still a laugh riot.
  22. At any rate, I think that being PC is quite shallow, but peer pressure...sigh...makes me curve that individuality. Words do hurt and that just a silly saying. But I don't like to be too melodramatic.
