  1. There was a mod for oblivion that added elsweyr to the out of bounds area. Yes Elsweyr Desert of Anequina. It added a huge freaking portion to the map. There is also a group of modders that are adding bits and bats such as Hammerfell and stuff (to oblivion) THere is that small island in the middle of the sea with a quest line and stuff made by modders and you had to edit the world map to get to it. Basically it is possible.
  2. Oblivion's master UI modder working on Skyrim? YES PLEASE.

  4. No ultimatly I would like to have is the ability to assign multiple equipment to say the Key 1 (Say I assign my full plater + 2h ect), to Key 2 I assign robe, lich hood and rings, to key 3 I assign a shield and a sword. SO I can switch to different sets with 1 click. No I don't like the Q menu. It's a shame. I have always had different armors and weapons and spells in my games. In a MMO I use to play I had over 5 different plate armors, 3 robes, 4 two handers, 3 staff as I was an evoker healer. I had around 8ish hotbars filled.
  5. So we should dish out extra dollars on extra hardware to make a half assed port better? That's not the solution.
  6. By this post I can tell you are playing on a console. Really we are bitching because we want attention? That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard. PC gamers are pissed off because we are stuck with some shoddy half assed port. We are pissed off because the UI stinks so much it makes you not want to play the game. We are bitching about because we where told we would get better. So don't make ridiculous statements like that please.
  7. Wow thanks for the quick reply! Do you mean Ward spells or Shield as in metal shield (Block skill)? Ward spell is for spells and depends on your mana bar. I am talking about physical shield. A good idea on how to fight as a mage is: Wear mage robes when starting a fight, blast them with 2 hands of magic, then when they take the fight to you, switch to heavy armor (or just armor) and equip a shield with a spell that doesn't require an extensive ammount of mana. Then block as you get hit (shield bash if you can/wan) then zap them. It's all on you really. Edit: @LH: Yeah, it's mostly on how you play really: The OP doesn't have deadric and dragon armor at his disposal so I guess he is more casual. And he just started as a mage. I personally play a level 30 Arch Mage Barbarian Nord. I have over 60 in destruction and specced toward lightning spells and have over 80 in 2 handed weapons. I wear heavy armor at all times (i occasionaly switch to different pieces [amulets/gloves ect] depending on the situation). I was rather surprised when I entered a cave and 4 Ice Trolls assaulted me. they are fast and regen damn fast. I summoned my old buddy from Sovngrde and he gave me enough time to cast various defensive spells, I then switched to my Volendrug and fell the trolls in 3 blows. I invested perks in Heavy armor so when things get hairy I can sustain blows.
  8. I had mine in off line mode as well and I couldn't understand how it managed to add the update. At least I know how that happened now. Who knew Steam off line means it is just sorta kinda off line. Yeah, good things to know right? I mean steam for an SP game? really?
  9. use shield (it's a godsend for a mage). Wear heavy armor if you want. if you are a hard core RP I guess you won't wear heavy armor.
  10. I killed a goat inside a city (deer shaped icon one). God weren't they pissed off.
  11. I am not using a cheat for the weight really, I got a stock of Weight potions w/e they are called. I invested plenty into Stamina. And yeah, the 1,2,3,4 ect system of oblivion was much much much much better
  12. I crafted mine. Finding good armor is next to impossible. After getting my deadric I found my very first glass gloves in a random dung

  14. There never was snipers in BF3. There is a recon, which stands for reconnaissance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reconnaissance
  15. I have different sets for different situations, I have 7 different potions, 2 different armor set, 4 individual armor pieces for situational bonuses, I have over 10 dragon shouts I make use of, I have 2 bows with different enchants on them, I have different staffs, scrolls, 1 2handed deadric sword, 2 1handed deadric sword, 1 ebony shield ect ect. Q doesn't quite cut it, I am sorry. Edit: I forgot about spells, I got over 10 spells
  16. Hello OH MY GOD the Q. The Q! Yeah the Q. That's the button for the favourite system, get to love it, get to know it, because once you have over 10 dragon shouts, 20 spells and 4 different sets of weapons and 2 different set of full armor, you are going to tear your own hairs out, and your neighboors too, so get to know it, really, I am making you a favor. - Q
  17. oh groovy, so I put Steam in offline mode and yet it downloaded the update. Way to earn my trust Steam, really. So now I know I can't godamn trust it to remain "offline". Could be doing all kind of things behind my back. what the f***. I reverted to the 1.1 Exe, and I should be getting the LAA (cheers chumps didn't know such a patch existed). Steam is now firewalled, blocked from my HDD and devoid of any internet connection. I was trusting the "offline" mode but not anymore.
  18. Indeed I have :) Beth got something right, and that's armor. The deadric one is down right sexyyyy!
