If we could find out how to make working man made nuclear fusion reactor.... -.- I suppose I like the earth, just not the people that live on it :P Or at least the people the rule it...

Not like it really matters, but in the case of this war that will most likely not happen... I found another country besides Iran and NK that might be involved, I forgot entirely about Pakistan... They have rising tensions with Israel, and they would defiantly try to screw them over if they got the chance.

Good catch. Maybe in Amrika everything is already standarised, so that they don't see the reasons why Europeans try to do so. It's much more convenient for everyone to have standards, especially if you come around a bit. And in Europe or Asia, with their different countries with comparatively small size, most people understand the advantages. So for an American it might be easy to say "imperial all the way" since there just is one standard from the east-coast to the west. There wasn't really a need for a bag full of adapters to carry around. What? Americans still have to deal with other systems... I honestly wish we had a world wide language, government, and measuring system, but that's for another topic.

What? That's not proof of time Burnagirl, that's just what you precieve. Alright sunshine, let me put it another way then ... a few days ago I was asked "what is truth" ? My response was this (and hopefully it will provide a clearer understanding on where I'm coming from), "truth is anything you are able to measure, quantify or prove to be factual". Truth is NOT theory, ideas or imaginations ... it must be measureable and open to and subject to scrutiny and testing. Time is such a truth because it can be measured, hence my little " ... tick tock ... hey it just turned 10:11PM ..." illustration. However, I do have a theory concerning time and because I cannot prove it, it remains a theory ... but for your sake here it is; I believe that we exist in a universe that needs time in order for it to work or function and that beyond this dimension of measurable time is a place which I simply call eternity. We (the universe or cosmos or whatever you want to call it) exist in a "time bubble" whithin this dimension of eternity. I'd like to elaborate further but well let me just let it rest there. Cheers Keanumoreira nice talking to you again. You can believe that, but its unlikely time has anything to do with some universal balance. As I said before, time is nothing more then our view of light. When you see a star explode from a telescope, it would have happened years ago. That's simply due to the traveling of light. Well that's not true Maharth take away all light and the desk your sitting at would still age and decay yet it gives forth no light. If it was just a matter of light then the desk would cease that process and become stuck or frozen if you will in its current state. Its decay is a result of the motion of the atoms within its structure. The traveling of light itself is just a medium which we use to give value to time. Think of it this way ,if you strike a match in a pitch black room and hold it out at arms length ,then bring up your other arm til the light reflects off your hand ,is that light traveling from the flame to your hand the fire or is it the molecular (even atomic) process that occurs within the flame that is the fire. I don't know exactly what relationship time has to the universe ,but its plain to see the it is an element of its construct and like a house it has to have balance within that construct or otherwise it would all fall down or cease to function or be. What your saying is not time, its just a perception that we see as something going forward. A house falls down yes, but the house doesn't fall down is a certain line of time. Its just a processing thing your brain does to be able to understand what happened. Past, Present, and Future are part of our brains biological clock. Now the reason time does not have some connection to the balance of the universe is because its only a biological feature that it happens. As I said before, in order for a creature to evolve they will need this biological clock. Without it, they will see a falling house as a single process, and they will see everything else as a single process. So this "time" everyone keeps speaking of is not time at all, the forward continuation of matter and energy is not time. If you want to have a debate about why the universe has a forward continuation of matter and energy that would be impossible. The human brain can not understand that, the same way the human brain can't understand how there could be no start to something.

Someone mentioned Hitlers art. I honestly completely forgot about that, I haven't heard that in a few years... The reason I don't like Hitler, is because he came to power by blaming a common enemy in a time of weakness. That's like stomping on someone when there down, its just weak. -
The only time I agree with you so far.

I don't really care what system we use, I just wish everyone everywhere used the same one...

Now to be honest, it would be quite easy for china to do some kind of secret alliance with NK at the start... They would be discovered very early though, and things would still turn out better for us.

Ok, so why not have a couple of nutcases come to your home in about 20minutes time, let them beat the living daylights out of you, your family, throw in a couple of rapes, maybe even stick you real good with bowie knife or how's about a spade against the head, then rob you blind and burn down the rest of your home. I reckon you'll sing a different tune then. You see, now it's personal, now it's you and it dont feel so good. In your economy, these criminals would walk away scott free after all they're just widdle badboys out for some fun and it's OK boys, dont worry you can go home and do it again tomowow, cause we dont wanna spend our money having to illegally punish you and traumatize you wiff a prison sentence. And dont worry about the grieving family, they most probably deserved it anyway, serves them right for living. Anyhow, this topic has run it's course for me, either you get it or you dont. That's the thing you don't get, I never said they would get away free if they did something if you were to read my posts... Do you know how stupid this sounds "Let the grieving families feel better about a murderer by watching him be put to death." And making a completely made up situation like you did is not going to help your case at all. I would kill the person out of self defense, but if its already done I would want him put in isolation that still allows him human rights. The whole "an eye for a eye" ideologically never works...

At the above post, I was in some tunnel and I saw a baby trap, thought it might of been part of some quest to save a baby, then it explodes in my face -.-

What really pissed me off, there was no way to take over the robot army and control it, and help the ncr or legion... Like seriously, WTF? -
A lot of you need to read every part of my posts... You keep saying "YOU HAVE TO PUNISH THEM!" WHY?? What is the point of punishing someone who did something bad? What will it do? Killing someone for killing someone does nothing at all. Putting someone in prison for life and denying them human rights doesn't do anything at all. So tell me what the point of this forceful punishment is? Who does it help? The only thing it does it waste tax money, and make the same people who feel bad about murder, feel good about murder when its done to someone else.

Also not sure if this was brought up but... Even if China DID side with NK in some rare case of a war. So what? China would have nearly all of its trades cut off, if not all of its trades... Everyone in the UK is without question with the US, Israel is with the US. Every other middle eastern country is pretty much forced to be with the US. Iran might not side with us, but if that happens they will be quickly destroyed anyways. So lets play this out... NK attacks SK again, SK declares war. At this point everyone in the UK and middle east will side with the USA and SK without question, since there is no doubt we are allies. Now lets say China did for some crazy reason side with NK during this war. China now knowingly sided with NK, has all trades cut off from the US, the UK, and the middle east. China also will be forced out of the UN, which is another point I would like to bring up... A person from South Korea is the current leader on the UN... If China does anything they will without question be disbanded from the UN. NK is not in the UN at all. This would probably lead to every country in the UN either becoming neutral or siding with the USA. Now at this point, the only major powers against the entire world are China and the NK. China is being constantly weakened due to not having any trade making it nearly impossible for them to deploy troops. NK after a while is on its own, due to the weakened state of China. NK has a high chance of having nuclear weapons so we would either end up setting up national security missiles in the case of a long range attack (which is unlikely due to the fact NK has only recently been testing, there is little chance they already have a fully working inter-continental nuclear missile. Its also very unlikely they will come anywhere near us without them detecting them. Or we would send the CIA to gather intelligence. Or both. Now a few things could happen. We could do a all out invasion of NK, and just take over the country. We could start with a few attacks and keep going. We could end up nuking them (even though that would be extremely stupid, people would still put it out as a option). Or we could let them weaken, and collapse themselves. In the end, we are going to win... NK will probably launch everything they have if they know for sure they are going to lose. A lot like when Hitler ordered the destruction of Germany. If they know they are going to lose, they are still going to win in there minds. Either way, they will have very few weapons that will work. They couldn't of produced to many by now. In a worst case scenario, they will wipe out both Koreans, maybe some part of china, and maybe japan. There is a high chance South Korea and North Korea will go to war sometime, but certainly not in the near future... NK should be smart enough to know if they do anything major they will be completely destroyed. Anyways I think this thing is being blown out of proportion. I mean Israel took over a Turkish ship recently in shared waters, killed a few people, and kidnapped them. That wasn't even on the news that much, and no one was talking about war...

No leader should be positively remembered through war... That's due to many reasons, one being anyone with a bunch of soldiers and guns can win a fight. If you have the other side out numbered in technology and in numbers, AND you have a good strategy point. Also, if your a general commanding a army, you did not act alone. You shouted some orders, and gave long distance orders to certain groups. You might of planned some stuff big deal... Modern war leaders aren't that great, by modern I mean WW1 and up. Now all you have to do is know whats where. You don't have much purpose for strategy. I mean hell, the US didn't even try to win the war with strategy, we just launched a nuke at civilians. Good leaders don't come from propaganda, lies, and violence. Good leaders come from people who rise from the means of good morals and peace. That's why I said Gandhi, not because he killed a bunch of people and took over some land. Because he was able to protest against a evil without bloodshed, and did it in ways that were harder then just going out and shooting people. -
You just spelled out perfectly what I was struggling to find the right words for. Maybe no one else agrees, but I do. Mind, not all the Tea Party folks have 'save the evil corporations! down with the poor!' in mind, so obviously, there are some who genuinely believe that their ways is the best way. the question, really, is why do they feel its the best way, when so many people stand to be harmed? I think they realize things are going bad for them, but they don't really know what it is. They see certain media channels, and they turn to that to get things fixed. I am sure if some of these lying and bought out media channels were to start telling the truth, they would end up changing their ways. Well at least most of them... The thing is they use different words and terms... They turn "give tax cuts to rich!" to "tax cuts! like us!" Other situations, they turn "do not change the medical system since we get paid for the current one!" to "It has death panels, you will die! FEAR IT!" They turn "Don't regulate the banks, since we get paid by them to stay in office!" to "NO MORE FED, HATE THE FED, NO REGULATION!!!" They turn "A group of extremist religious terrorists attacked a tower." into "MUSLIMS DID IT, ALL MUSLIMS ARE EVIL! Also, Sudam Hussian helped so lets invade the middle east!" I can keep going, but you can see how certain news groups can gather a mass of people from lies, and make them truly believe something.

Does anyone seriously think China IS NOT a US ally??? I mean seriously people, we are a MASSIVE source to their economy... We borrow money from them. We do weapons trade with them. We are clearly a ally, if we were not or just neutral we wouldn't be doing arms trades and borrowing money from them.

Ok I will even fall back on the life sentence for murder. They should be watched for a certain time while in prison, and if they seem completely mentally stable they can be let out. What I am saying, is make the cites function in a way that the people living there would have to pay for the city... Make it almost like a entirely separate economy. People outside of the prison would need to watch it to make sure it stays safe, but prison should not be a place that violate human rights, and has bad living conditions. I am simply suggesting for prisons to be turned into a better living environment with its own economy. This way people could be mentally dealt with a lot easier, without having prison trauma. Now I see my above system as a way of isolating without violating their rights. This way you do not have to kill them, or punish them in a prison system.

maybe we can win this... Also if were supposed to be a undead scourge, why would we sleep? 6

This... There is reasons that people commit crime, most of the people who commit robbery need the money to live safely. Most of the people who commit murder, if not all of them, do it out of revenge or out of a mental illness. The mental illness should be pretty easy to agree with, the person is messed up in the head and should not be killed for a disorder. Now for the revenge... A lot of the time people kill someone since the justice system can not do it. If someone rips you off for all your funds, and you know who it was but can't get any evidence for example. The justice system may not work even if you have all the evidence in the world. They may of legally ripped you off. This person is dealing with a life changing event by losing all of his money, but he can not do anything about it. What do you think the death plenty is? Its a way to serve justice by punishing something with their life that has already pasted. Would you let this man who just got ripped off murder the person who ripped him off? In short, if you kill from revenge then its the same thing as the death penalty in the sense that your doing it for no other reason but revenge. If you kill due to a mental disorder, then you don't even have much control over it. And coming back to the tax money thing, if you were to have prisoners that committed murder knowingly work certain jobs and still get fed and human rights, they would make money for the government. In my eyes, murders should not even be punished. I see anyone who commits murder on purpose as mentally ill and they should just be cut off from society, but still be able to live like a normal person. Going even further, I don't think ANY crime should be dealt with for the sole purpose of punishment. You get robbed, the person goes to prison. Now what happens? He uses YOUR tax money, and basically robs you even more. There is no reason to punish the person, it helps no one at all. I think crimes like robbery should be dealt with by putting the person in a government job that allows the person to pay back the money. Crimes like murder should be a life sentence in a high security city like place cut off from society. They should be allowed to get mental help and have human rights. They could do certain jobs to be able to fund the families of the person they murdered (since a lot of times killing a working parent can destroy a family) and have part of the funds used for government funding. Rape should be like the above, but the sentence should only be 10 years if it is determined the person is not mentally ill in any way. Assault should not be punished at all if no injuries are given. If injuries are given then they should have to pay the person for any medical help. And a lot of people are going to say "OMG BIGGER GOV NOOOOOOOOO!1111" Well the prison system is just like above, minus the human rights and tax dollars. By doing what I suggested, the average person would have to pay less in tax, instead of having to pay more. That way if you get robbed, you don't get ripped off. If your family gets murdered, you make the murderer pay YOU for what he did.

OBMAMA R BES PREZ! Just kidding, but to any hardcore democrats or republicans that blindly follow there party, the current president is the best ever (or worst ever). I have strong liking for the leaders of Ancient Egypt, and the Roman Republic. I can't say much about them, since we don't have a clear understanding about everything that happened in those times. I would have to say out of all Gandhi, since he brought about major change through peaceful revolution. -
I said this before, but how do you expect there to be Native American tribes?? There culture would have been completely wiped out by the great war, and no one in a tribe would have survived in a vault to pass on the culture...
-
A lot of these are mentally ill people and you are killing them for doing something they didn't realize was wrong... So can someone answer me directly, what is the point of killing someone for murder? Are you willing to risk a life, or destroy one just to save money? In some cases this is the same thing as a old cripple tripping and pushing someone over, that due to his inability to walk well, ends up killing the person. Just because someone has a physical or mental disorder does not mean they should be killed for it. Some of these people are without question a danger to society, but we should kill them for the way they were born or raised? People need to quit acting like just because you kill someone, you are instantly evil and should be punished with the full force of the government. Killing is a act that could happen for many reasons, and a lot of the time the act of killing is considered heroic and good. How do you think the Afghans feel about US troops being in their country, killing civilians and terrorists alike. I am sure that group would see that killing as evil, while most of the US thinks its good. So let me ask this, when do you support killing, and when do you not support killing?
-
It is hard to pass legislation for certain restrictions on it... How messy would a bill be if you would have to describe certain evidence scenarios? Still either way, what does it help to kill someone? What does it achieve? The most it could do is make someone feel better. Most people who commit murder are mentally unstable in the first place, and your going to kill someone like that just to feel better?
-
Yes it is a theory, but so is gravity. A huge percentage of the world believes in the theory of gravity. There is more solid proof to evolution then to gravity, so why would someone no believe in both then? I don't really want this to turn into a religious topic, so lets hope no one replies to my post.
