  1. I'm thinking of changing my name to "Unofficial Official Supreme Overlord Ruler of the World". Anybody with me? By the way, I win for eternity.
  2. I ban the above user for not showcasing enough ponies.
  3. Granted, but somebody tricks you into reading the Twilight series. I wish for suggestions for RPGs for the Xbox 360 (I decided to buy another).
  4. Ah yes... I remember buying a stick of RAM (256MB) several years ago when I had my first job so I would have, in total, 512MB of RAM. Which was considered high end at the time :D. I opened up the plastic packaging and sniffed the RAM until I had decided to turn my computer off and install it. Just a couple years later, I was seeing laptops and such with as much as 2GB of RAM, so I decided to save some money to buy a laptop. I got a desktop with 2GB of RAM and a 2GHz processor for my birthday (but it just didn't have that new PC smell to it :(). So I didn't actually buy the laptop until a couple years ago, but when I did, it had 4GB of RAM and a near-3GHz processor. When I opened up that packaging, it's like the scent of a thousand strips of bacon entered my nose and started massaging my brain.
  5. "But... there is one they fear. In their tongue... he is 'Yodakhiin' - Jediborn! FUS YO DAH!" Sorry, but I had to. I find it pretty funny, maybe because I really don't play games for their lore or story (I read books for that reason). But yeah, you got to see how Skyrim fanboys react to things that aren't strictly Skyrim related. Edit: I found this mod on Youtube a few days back, just look at some of those comments: The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Hatsune miku Mod [ultra Graphics Settings Ver.] .
  6. Here's the GECK: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Main_Page In the second panel down, there's a download link for New Vegas' GECK. That site's full of Fallout 3 tutorials, but most of them still apply to New Vegas. You can find numerous tutorials for New Vegas around the internet for different things like weapon mods. If you want to make custom weapons and stuff, you'll have to learn how to use programs like Blender/GIMP (free) or 3DS Max/Photoshop (not free) then learn to use NifSkope (also free) and how to import the meshes and stuff. That could take a while, because I just figured out how to combines meshes in NifSkope after two months of learning how to use NifSkope . As for the mods, just browse around the Nexus for them. Here is a tutorial on how to install the GECK and mods. To use RTS, you have to have New Vegas Script Extender, or NVSE for short: New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) as well as Archive Invalidation, which can enabled in the Fallout Mod Manager. For managing mod load orders and such, you can use FOMM (I just linked to it) or even the Nexus' own Nexus Mod Manager. As for the console commands, you can find a list of those here: Fallout: New Vegas console commands. But they disable achievements, so I'd stick with the good ol' fashioned way of finding ammo and guns instead of adding them using the console.
  7. You can buy a copy of Windows XP (Home editions are roughly 70USD now) and dual boot it with Mac. And how are you playing it on Mac? I haven't seen anything about a port for it on Steam. Unless you're running it through a compatibility layer.
  8. Why don't I have any questions?
  9. Brokenergy, I slap you in the knee with an arrow. Congrats, you are now qualified to be a Skyrim guard.
  10. Granted, but a common man takes office and decides that there's not enough war going on so he begins WW3. I wish the Skyrim Creation Kit would get here already. There are just two days left in January (here, at least) and it's not out yet :(
  11. Fonger, I'm not going to argue over something as trivial as this.
  12. Fonger, ACTA is just as real as SOPA and PIPA. It's even worse because it extend internationally to countries like Japan and Germany, as well as most EU countries. Hopefully, enough people in the signatory countries don't want it and prove to their governments that it's a stupid bill like PIPA and SOPA. "Yes. This is tech support. Your government is doing what? Have you tried turning it off and back on again?"
  13. This sort of makes me want a DLC which turns Skyrim into a modern-day game :D +9001 internets for you, good sir.
  14. I feel the pain. Before my storage hard drive crashed the other day (a beautiful, awesome 2TB hard drive which I now have to replace :(), I decided to boot into this recovery boot disk thingy I bought a couple months ago and see how much I could recover to my 500GB hard drive. Well, I found that my music folder had grown to 100GB from stuff I've downloaded from Jamendo, ripped from CD's or got from somewhere else (like iTunes or Amazon). My Steam folder alone was absolutely HUGE with about 125GB total (about a quarter of it was New Vegas' folder from all the DLC and crap I've installed), and my game folder (which is where I installed Steam) in total was about 220GB from games I didn't install through Steam like Bad Company 2 (I don't buy games from Steam if I don't have to). I had used about 900GB out of 2TB. I only recovered the music because I didn't have space for everything.
  15. Or if the Nexus - dare I say it - gets shut down :(
  16. I don't think you should be complaining about getting a service as great as the Nexus for free. If you were paying for the service monthly or by download, THEN you could complain. But the Nexus is doing what they do for free. So don't complain unless it makes your computer implode.
  17. Well then, the only option left is the faction armor. Take some NCR or Legion armor then do something for either one. That is, if you don't have "Don't Tread On The Bear!" and "Beware The Wrath of Caesar" active. If either one is active, you will have to start a new game (I could be wrong, but I couldn't find a way to do it).
  18. Through the console is the easiest way, but that's if you don't mind losing Steam achievements. If you don't want to do that, take some NCR/Legion armor from a dead member and wear it. It'll add you to that faction, long enough that you can do a couple missions for either one.
  19. Sorry, you're supposed to use the Form ID: "Player.AddReputation 00101f42 1 10". Try that.
  20. I got GRA several weeks ago, I'll take a look and see how it works. I'll report back in a few minutes. Yep, it's just the number of projectiles. There's nothing special about the mine itself, and the projectile is just another mine.
  21. Harold. He was an FEV mutant, then turned into a tree :( Other favorites are Toshiro Kago from Mothership Zeta (Samurais are awesome!) and Ulysses.
  22. What mods are they, exactly? If they're replacers or menu mods, they just modify NIF/DDS or XML files, respectively. They don't actually add an ESP, unless it's a menu mod that specifically modifies non-XML attributes.
