  1. Ahh sorry I guess i misread the title lol. You can use AFT to change the companions into different races, but only dog is a non-human option. Well here's all I found relating to mirelurks: Grandma Mirelurk - closest I could seem to locate for a companion. Also looks hillarious. Mirelurk Merchant - To be honest i have no idea what this guy is talking about in the description. So let me know what the hell this mod does lol. Playable Mirelurks - You can play a queen, hunter or king. Guy was supposed to add spawn but dunno if he ever did. Guppy Grenade - Adds two grenades to the game, one makes opponents fall and the other summons a swarm of hatchlings (be careful they attack everything). Sorry nothing you requested, but maybe the Grandma Lurk will hold you over?
  2. Usually loot will tell you how to fix that, however in most cases I'm like "yeah but I really have to finish building this rocket ship," because its beyond my ability to comprehend lol. Best bet is to look for alternatives, just remember not to get too frustrated thats how most people mess up.
  3. You have to use the number keys. When you favorite an item, the favorites "cross" shows up with a tiny little number that's the number (from 1 to 8 I think) you press.
  4. Ok not exactly what you wanted, but within that mod you posted is a link to the Pipboy Customization Framework, using that mod you can change the background of your pipboy, using these instructions. So you could make your own mods for this, if you can figure out how to transfers those pics into .dds format and then your golden I think. If I knew how to do any of that I could help, I just got resources man no skills lol.
  5. Wasteland Workshop DLC I think has cages for all the various vanillia creatures, I think you can capture mirelurks with one. Maybe that will help, the hard part is the whole passive I'm your friend thing.
  6. No one has'nt really made anysort of mod like this because there is not really anything underwater within fallout. I think it would be a daunting task as far as 3rd person is concerned, since I feel like you would need new swimming animations, the jetpack option may be feasable and also really freaking cool. I hope someone takes this up. This mod allows you to customize the AP drain in PA (including jetpacks) so there must be a script to apply it only while swimming. Wonder whats blocking jetpack use while underwater?
  7. Try disabling (not delete) all of your mods, run the game and see if CTD when going into a workbench. If it works, then activate one mod and load your game and try a workbench, do this until you get a CTD and thats the mod causing it.
  8. What does loot say about those mods, any errors or batched patches you might need to create? Have you enabled mods (bellow is copied from a f04 wiki) How to enable modding Navigate to your Fallout 4 Folder at the following location "Documents\My Games\Fallout4" Within this folder you'll find a number of .ini files. Open (or create, if missing) Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor (we use Notepad++). Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and close Fallout4Custom.ini
  9. It might be as simple as your loadorder.txt still trying to load nonexsistant mods, you want to try to verify your game files via steam (if you have not already), maybe your mods are still loaded (at wherever your mod program puts them) or you have a mod from bethnet conflicting. Sorry that's the only things I can think of, sometimes its very simple and your just frustrated and not seeing it, that happens to me all the time.
  10. Yeah I'm not much for scripts either, just mess around in xedit trying to figure out what does what. Sorry I was of no help lol.
  11. Have you used Game Configuration Menu before, I seem to recall it having a few options for the AP costs when in power armor. I'm aware allot of that stuff is just console commands with a nice MCM menu, so perhaps you can backtrack from there?
  12. I would just get the Looks Menu mod and go for presets that rely on that Markus. I'm not sure if there are other overlord mods for presets however. However I have not played in a while, hopefully that mod is still a thing.
  13. Get ready for a world of frustration, tubers don't ever tell you the hours spent making sure all the mods you downloaded play nice with each other. However don't fret, you just need do some research and follow steps for installation correctly (don't skip steps because they are complicated). You may also look into the Wyrebash (or similar) programs, here's a tutorial - grumbolos (sorry spelling is bad) has good one but I can't spell his/her username lol. Also going into steam and turning off automatic updates will help you in the future when the game updates but F4SE has not yet. Lots of great advice in the forums if you use the search function. Everyone on here probably learned how to mod their games from the forum, at least I lurked here for 3 years before I really got into modding.
  14. Well I think you may need to direct your NMM to where your mods are loaded. Possibly you may need to look at loadorder.txt (I think its what its called) in the fallout folder and see if any mods are loaded. Sorry can't provide further assistance, as I don't use NMM anymore - in my case it did the same thing your experiencing but without every having installed vortex it just happened one day.
  15. Set Explored Cell Reset to 1 year and unexplored to 6 months using Game Configuration Menu.
  16. Wish people would read the descriptions of mods they are adding.
  17. To be honest, I have never gotten that mod to work. So I really don't think its anything you did yourself, just one of those mods that some people get to work and us plebs just get to dream about it.
  18. Try running LOOT and Wyre Bash in addtion to vortex, any changes made in either program transfer over. Loot may tell you that something is conflicting. Also other obvious (as in you may have already done these) are making sure you game is up to date in addition to F4SE. Also Vortex may be putting the plug-in in the wrong load order, in this case you'll have to head on over to the plug-in section (under the mods heading) and click on the plug-in, a screen will pop-up and at the bottom of this screen there should be a load order box - use this to lock in the load order you want. Hope some of these ramblings help.
  19. Seem to recall a txt file that had the load order in it for F04, though I cannot remember where it was located or what it was called to be honest (maybe as simple as loadorder.txt, but I doubt it). Not sure if you aware of it, but you can also run LOOT to further check for errors (sometimes it gives you solutions too) outside of Vortex and any changes made in loot transfer over to vortex. Wyre bash is what I actually use to disable plug-ins I don't want to use, since you can't do that in vortex, and those changes also transfer over.
