  1. Anyone ever played pen-n-paper Warhammer? Is known with Realms of Chaos? Now, at any rate, one can find info on this online, but such a chaos landscape would fit quite well, given the radiation and the likes. OOOH, Killer Tomatoes.... (Wasteland 2, darned awesome game, with funny references to whatever one can think of).
  2. Erm, either they are adult and can wear all, or they are kids, and will not be able to get into PA. Height has not much to do with it, I think.
  3. Well, you could always make a mute Companion. Maybe as kid the had an accident having her vocal cords damaged beyond repair? Who knows? Let her do sign language with a subtitle explaining her signalling? I mean, it can be quite tricky for the signalling, but, it would be quite immersive. There just are mute and deaf people, see. :) AND some might even very much appreciate such, since those people are left out of games in general. Which is sad.
  4. Merely asking, ME was, to me, a bloody good game in that day. Not just story wise, graph wise, immersion, but the setting especially. Not many a space RPG out there that had such quality (read: NONE!) Hence I so enjoyed ME. ME2 had this awesome feature in which you could import your Me captain, his story, decisions, which just added so much more to the whole game. Personally I loved the entire ME franchise, though was a bit disappointed with the ME3 endings...
  5. And the fact they were not around (or WERE THEY!!!???!!!, they could've been in some vault, jamming, what the hell else did they have to do? Well, they could have had a blast being a corpsicle, like the folks in 111, still) that Metal would not have come into existence? You claim to be known with guitar history, GOOD for you, but you fail, in that very same sentence, to get that rock music had roots in the 40's. Wait a sec, that's before the frikken bomb dropped, right? Which would translate into... hell, Metal COUlD BE VERY WELL around... Since R'n'R comes from Rock, and... Yep, me thinks you start to get it. Maybe Vault 24 had Deicide, Crebain, Metallica and Helloween (YES, I know Metallica is an English band). XD
  6. Hold on a sec: I never said the absence of GECK costed in sales for Beth. It was about FO4's longevity, if I recall correctly! Do you think people would play this game 4 times, if there were no mods? Could be, but I doubt it. FO4 is shallow, not just in story, but in graphs/towns/map as well. And this starts to become boring fast.
  7. You mention ME2 and 3, what about ME? As for Beth games: Only ONE had me hooked for massive time: Morrowind/Trib/BM. With a TON of mods, like that vampire cellar one, forgot the name. Underground, was it? Something like that. And that romance mod, in which you had to maintain the relationship: no interaction with your partner would cause the relationship to dim out. Marvelous mods, really, and bloody huge, that vampire one.
  8. For one, electric guitars were around in the 30's. Not ingame does not mean not existing. "Tools" to make and record metal or punk are around, thank you very much. "Everything stopped in the fifties", then why is there still life? People, btw, will always create, no matter how bad things get. For many it is a way to relief stress, or to cope with say depression. Being stupid, btw, does not automatically mean you're artistic incompetent. Look at Mozart. :P
  9. Let me put this is a different way: if GECK was not important to FO4, then why did folks create FO4Edit? Just to have it? I reckon, not so. Nothing is more important to a game from Beth than mods/modders.
  10. It not wise to only look for five star VA for free work though. Most are just or barely starting. please do Deacon QQ there are a lot of fangirls out there that are begging to have more Deacon. I wonder why you cannot romance a Sentry bot. That's just so silly. I mean, one can even romance Curie, so. IMHO, this is just discrimination towards the Sentry Bots. :(
  11. With enough ammo, you can take a Behemoth down with the most basic pipe gun. Use your terrain. Like the Claw in the town, you're atop the roof, well, shoot the damned thing from there, but wait for it to take down them raiders, which will focus on the claw anyway. He'll be damaged, they be dead, simply clean up the leftover. Do try to one-shot that idiot on the opposite rooftop though. XD
  12. Hmm, someone should make a power drill mod. Something Hilty. *grins*
  13. You really think that say Raiders would not make their own music, or music in general simply stopped in the 50's? Further on: what better sound than say Crebain's Cold Black Heart, or slayer's Exile, to whack some heads? :P Aside, metal calms me. And I like calm... :D As I wrote on Slayer's Exile on YouTube: This stuff is so soothing to me, it brightens up my entire day.
  14. ... but not a SINGLE decent one. How come, I wonder? I mean the setting of FO4 does not call for the stuff their playing, if I had the chance, I'd kill each jocky, just to get rid of the crap. Think: instead of say Radio Diamond City crap, they'd be playing for instance Bolt Thrower, or Deicide, Morbid Angel, you name it. To me, that'd be FAR more immersive than the stuff they're playing right now. GOD I hate the radio stations.
  15. Very good, girl. Now this I like, a lot. Simple love, not lust. Imma like you, I think. Not sure yet, but you're on the right path here. XD
  16. Yet another reason I do not update. Yeah, they are doing well, up there. *sarcasm* for those that missed it.
  17. Know, if FO4Edit and the likes failed to exist, FO4 would've been dead the day it was released (hyperbole, but you get the point, right? In the end, to save FO4, FO4Edit came to live, basically. Some of us bought the game, NOT to play it, but to mod for it.).
  18. Well, in that case, buy 10 of them, and give them to buddies? I mean... well, you get me... Oh, my friend, I am not a rich woman. Just saying. But, dear, despite you want to be good for Beth, do know, that game companies sold those keys on the aforementioned sites for that amount of cash, in my case, almost 10 Euro. No company will buy keys for 50 euro, and resell them for 10. So, those prices ARE official, and thus not in financial negativity/loss for said game companies. Basically, it's their price. For the less rich, like me and apparently you. ;)
  19. If you did not had the error before 1.4, it is 1.4 bugging up on you. Fairly self explaining.
  20. Oh COME ON!!!! Squirrels ARE around, bumped into them often, killed me few times even. Now they are called Death Claws, but...
  21. setScale <int> – Set the scale of an item in game. It's usually required to "disable" then "enable" the item for the new scaling to fully take place. Warning: Using this command to change your character's size while wearing power armor may cause you to lose all equipped armor and clothing as well as your Pip-Boy, which cannot be recovered by any known means other than loading a previous save.Note: Be careful when using setscale to large numbers like 10. You may seem big and powerful, but a very small drop-off (in comparison to your size) will be fatal. Cliffs look very tiny from 50 feet up, but still kill you as if you were normal size. Additionally cells will still only load as if you were normal size, and moving through un-spawned cells can crash the game. It is suggested to use the no-clip command tcl to prevent falling
  22. Well, in that case, buy 10 of them, and give them to buddies? I mean... well, you get me...
  23. Exactly, or just have a wee sit-down from a battering hike you just had.
  24. Polite, one has to start a major project a first time anyway, why not this one, AND learn from that in the process? It's what I would do. Too bad, my project back then was far too massive to do in by myself... or I would've.
  25. Depends... One has to be mindful, of course, when modding. Some mods use the same space (house mods for one), which can severely cripple a game. I'm most careful with what I put in my game, and test the game thoroughly in god mode, before to engage actual game play. Every new mod, I made a new backup of the entire game onto another drive. Should something screw up the mod, and it can't be fixed by removing the mod, then I revert the process: delete current game, restore backup. If there was ONE way to prevent frustration, this would be it. XD
