  1. Not quite correct, yes, no perks to begin with, but you can make the stats as you see fit, so, it's not quite a pre-made character. The build, depends on how you put your stats. And you build your build as you go. As far as I know, this has always been the case in fallout. But yes, about the spouse and thew baby, you're right, you're not, in any a way, related to it, so to speak. As for RP, choices and the like, I cannot but agree there as well, I too have stated as much. But will they learn, that's the question...
  2. Erm, they are very much so: it's... FALLOUT... XD
  3. Wait, there's no dodging nukes in Sim City? Boooh, how... boring... XD
  4. Same here, but i can't always... Though there are a few things I know. :) I'm actually glad so many great folks here, always eager to lend a hand.
  5. City building games, soo... well, FO4 fits that. *grins*
  6. Ah, thank you for explaining this, brother. I personally never had to mess with settings.
  7. My way is slightly more perma, I guess. XD But Moraelin has a darned good point, can be just that simple, indeed.
  8. Yes, people and explosions aren't that great a mix, really... Odd eh?
  9. Oh, next FO will be situated in the Amazon then? XD Hell, works for me.
  10. Well, I did not react on those points because that's always different depending on the player. some want more of this, others more of that, while less on the first, .............................................. You get my point. But he did made quite a mistake on the exploring part.
  11. Well, as said, make a vid instead. :) That's always up, unless YT suddenly should have a heart attack.
  12. Dude, don't post things like that and then be offline... That's STUPID. Rather make a film 'bout that and post that on YT.
  13. SETAV health will still make um die once the health bar is down. So, not the best optiom for immortality. But that's my thought. You can do both y'now, and give them a nuke launcher and whatnot. Give them a power armor, aswell... BEST way is through FO4Edit, as I mentioned in the very beginning.
  14. Erm, I'm not sure whether to shoot, or nuke you... Fallout 1: exploration was a primary thing. Fallout 2: see fallout 1, and add exploration. So, excuse me, but, exploration isn't a thing in FO series? What did I miss, and where? In fact, lad, there is not ENOUGH explorable s#*! in FO4!!! But this was covered afore. What I do agree with is the fact that RP is missing in virtually any and all forms, save for a few conversations that actually matter.
  15. Euh, how so? House of immeasurable Horror? Clowns in the attic? My sister there????
  16. Umm, I just reassigning them as I see them unassigned.
  17. Uhm, immersion? So, YOU have a SAVE button on your life? Damn, I so want one... And a search field, please! Hahaha no man. But immersion isn't about being too realistic, if games were to be completely realistic then we should have no save at all and whenever we died we should have started from the beginning. Immersion is more about not feeling the game mechanics as far as you can than pure realism. Fast travel for example isn't immersive because it reminds you of a game mechanics. If there is a bike to fast travel then it's more immersive because it lets you feel you are doing something in game. Flying with virtibird in Fo4 is the best mechanism of fast travel Bethesda ever made in their games. Now, I'm an annoying fu... dge, and immersion to me = dead... is dead. I mean, how would you feel if say a monstrous Claw a la Behemoth had a thing like that? Or an Elite Suicider? Not the best for immersion eh. If we have this save for us, then -for immersion's sake- so should the rest. BUT!, that's my, and i am just an annoying fudge. XD Now, you speak of immersion in odd ways: you do not like the current fast travel, but if replaced with vertibird travel, hey we got a thing. THEN you say: removing saving anywhere is immersion breaking? Now, those 2 seem, as far as I understand, not on the same page. This, to me, looks quite opposite of the other. How can a non-immersive system be a necessity? Well, I DO have a solution for this issue though: Be more careful. I'm not kidding, I play in Hardcore in Extremis mode, I only save at the very end of a gaming session, that is, if I live to tell that far. Upon death i re-roll a character, got one ready at the Vault111 exit. Redo face, redo settings, and off I am. THAT, my good friend, is immersion. Think about what I said about the Behemoth Claw, what if he had a save button? Then DON'T nap, and enter, just be frikken careful. 'sWhat I do and then die due a stupidity. *grins* Gents, if we're speaking of IMMERSION, that save option is the most idiotic thing ever invented. But, well, for the third time... I'm an annoying... you get me.
  18. Warhammer Realm of Chaos (NON-40K) Where the Chaos Gods come mess things up. Shamelessly copied from Wiki: Khorne: God of bloodlust, war, death, blood, and skulls. Khorne favours close combat, abhorring wizards (in Warhammer Fantasy) or psykers (in Warhammer 40,000), considering them cowardly. In addition to blood and war, Khorne is also the god of courage and honor, but these trappings are always eventually discarded in favor of the primary goal of killing. While he blesses his followers by granting them strength and martial prowess, Khorne does not truly care who spills blood, so long as the blood continues to be spilled. Khorne is arguably the most powerful of the four Chaos Gods.Tzeentch: God of change, fate, mutation, hope, and knowledge. Tzeentch's followers are powerful sorcerers who prefer to channel the energies of the Warp (Warhammer 40,000), or Winds of Magic (Warhammer Fantasy) at a distance rather than get close to enemies. Tzeentch is always scheming, his every action feeding into his great plots that only he can comprehend. Tzeentch controls and manipulates the fates of all and weaves them intricately into his devious web of manipulation and hunger for power.Nurgle: God of plague, despair, disease and death. Represented by the color green and the symbol of three circles and arrows. He is the oldest of the Chaos Gods. Nurgle is a warm and welcoming god who gifts his followers with poxes and boils, rashes and sores. His power comes from the inevitability of death and decay, and Nurgle is often referred to as 'Grandfather Nurgle', as entropy is the most ancient of forces, and he is the only one who cares for his followers. Nurgle thrives in death and decay, growing more powerful as great plagues spread, and his servants seek only to spread disease. Nurgle prides himself on the achievements of his followers, "gifting" them with hideous diseases while sheltering them from pain, and his followers rejoice in their blessings, shrugging off lethality and disfigurement in a state of rapturous undeath. People in sickness might pray to Nurgle for relief, but rather than heal the sick, Nurgle helps them endure their illness by removing their pain and misery, all the while exacerbating their physical degeneration.Slaanesh: God of lust, pleasure, desire, and excess. In both settings, he is the youngest of the four gods; he is typically considered androgynous, and while he is usually referred to as being male, in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Eldar races consider him to be female. His followers seek only to indulge in whatever fleeting whims and desires they feel, and they tend to become graceful, beautiful warriors who harbor selfish, cruel souls. In the Warhammer 40,000 background, he was birthed from the excesses and hedonism of the Eldar society. His birth created a psychic shockwave that spread across the galaxy, killing most of the Eldar population and their gods; the survivors split into the various Eldar factions. It also created the largest warp storm in the Milky Way, the Eye of Terror, which later became the main residence of the scattered Chaos Space Marines. The fall of the Eldar empire paved the way for the rise of the Imperium of Man. In Warhammer Fantasy, his followers are partly responsible for the corruption of an important Elven leader named Malekith, and the subsequent schism that led to the formation of the Dark and High Elf races. We have Aliens, why not GODS! XD
  19. How bizarre... And a lower resolution in 10:9?
  20. Well, just as simple to use the setessential PRID 1 command... Which turns them actually "immortal"...
  21. Well, we got Ghouls, so decomposing people would not be that far out of line... But imagine a Ghoul Bronto, Pterodactyl, T-Rex... I did like them bicycleraptors though...
  22. True, I'll give you that... I think we can be grateful there are no such things as Ghoul Dino's... God I hope they will not consider that a good idea... Hell, I hope they won't see this as a suggestion!
  23. Point is: they ARE there, prop or no prop, and thus became "lore" in FO4. An impossible one, as I explained, atm. I can't think of the fact someone figured them to be a good prop, being them in game would mean they were allowed into there. Thus, in theory, there is reason behind this. Where's the rest, I wonder.
  24. So wait a second right there: Uumaans can live, but horses cannot? Why would horses not survive we Uumaans DO survive? Imma report you for discrimination! :( lol
