  1. White rabbit. Must be able to attack enemies, be devastatingly powerful and preferably be able to 'leap' at enemies (similar to Blitz perk?).
  2. Been bad again lately. Sometimes even trouble with Vortex logging in.
  3. I'm also getting a Script Extender Plugin error from Vortex after updating Vortex today. Was fine before update and no new mods before update.
  4. I use CBBE. Back when I was playing on regular Skyrim I tried both. Found CBBE better for me and how I work. Not perfect, but better. Now that I am on Skyrm SE I have simply stayed with CBBE because its easier to not learn a new tool, its still good at what it does and the numbers show plenty of people agree. While the last point is of secondary importance, I appreciate the support that (usually) comes with more popular mods (peer and/or dev). Now, maybe UNP has superceded CBBE on Special Edition, but I wouldn't mind about that. The difference is not likely to be miracles so it's not a priority for me to change. So, for convenience as much as effectiveness.... CBBE.
  5. Fixed, but it was a chore. Not sure if it was overkill, but couldn't be bothered with more piecemeal approaches. 1) Made sure I had a backup of saves. 2) Uninstalled whole game. 3) Deleted SSE install folder to kill any left over/redundant/corrupt files. 6) Reinstalled SSE. 7) Started it 'plain' (vanilla) to make sure base game still good. Exit game. (Restarted Windows for old habits.) 8) Reinstalled latest SKSE64. 9) Exit and loaded mod manager (in my case Vortex). 10) Redeployed mods and paid special attention to re-initialising FNIS. 11) Launched game from "SKSE64 loader". Worked!
  6. CBP has had an update today. SKSE64 and Racemenu seem to be the main problem for me. Until SKSE doesn't think it's verison 0.0.0.0, I don't think the situation will get better....
  7. Yep, I'm getting this too now since the recent SSE & SKSE updates...
  8. Thanks people. Had this problem too. Didn't remember ever having it when I used NMM for ages, but after recently reinstalling everything I decided to go with Vortex. And Vortex was just like a certain ex. Looked great. Had problems. Didn't work like my old one. Also got tired of people not paying attention to the question asked looking at first search results. Lucky I found this thread. Thanks again.
  9. There are three well known options, NMM, MO and Vortex. Me? I am still using NMM here, even went so far as to get the "community updated" version so I no longer have that failed update check issue. Since all of them are popular or well supported, 3) Hate MO. 2) Tried Vortex with a dummy installation. I see the idea, it's cool and another example of the general society wide move for things to be "more straightforward". Unfortunately it simply didn't work properly for me. The time taken to fix the problem (probably not even permanently) takes away from time spent actually playing the game and having fun. 1) NMM works for me and all the mods I use install/update/configure okay. --- "If it ain't broke...."
  10. Thanks a lot for the answer. Is it possible for me to move from NMM without need to reinstall the game with all it's mods? I have 234 active plugins in my installation atm and it's dead stable so I would only move if there would be IMPORT function that would not mess everything up. Thanks again Then avoid Vortex. I too had a large stable setup under NMM. Had.... Though there is an import function to Vortex, their own web pages warn that this can be problematic especially if (as you probably do):- There are several ways you may end up with unmanaged files when using NMM: When mods are updated. When mod files are generated by another tool (e.g. animation mods that require FNIS).Whenever you have manually added files to your data folder, or used another method than NMM to place files in the data folder.Because the probability for having unmanaged files in your data folder increases with every mod you use with NMM, we recommend opting for a fresh start with Vortex. I went ahead anyway. Cost me hours to fix. A fresh installation with the setup I want is not a small ask. Oh, and that damned ad ffs....
  11. CBBE. More mods I use support it or vice versa. I personally don't take kindly to the insults that CBBE is almost entirely for adolescents and the like. My CBBE characters have a bust, yes, but not "watermelons". Why can't you just say why your choice is good without slagging off others? Who does that make the 'kid'?
  12. I also had similar trouble and Open Cities was the cause. It just doesn't like working with other mods that affect cities it seems and I don't need OC enough to forgo all the other things I can get.
  13. This is the bit that bugs me the most for some reason. I can live with "Too many people want to download since Skyrim:SE launched so our servers are swamped, sorry" and keep it that that. But don't tell me to go look at something that has no news or updates relevant to the problem. Unless of course you count an item started a week ago. Edit: Do "Premium" Account people have this problem?
  14. They did. And I happen to agree with them, at least as far as priorities go. I don't know how much they get via the advertising or other revenue streams, but whatever it is.....
  15. I get that the servers are busy, but this busy? I haven't had anything useful for days! I can't complain because I'm not a "Premium" account holder, but it's pretty frustrating at times.....
