Hmm, so you'd definitely get the best possible speed by swapping to the "CDN" option in your preferences. Do you have access to a VPN or another network connection (such as via a mobile data plan) to see if that's any better? With Premium we removed any restrictions on your speed from our side, but it's often the ISP or just bad routing that causes a slowdown after that. All of our servers are on different infrastructure in different parts of the world, so if all of them have slow speeds the problem is likely to be "closer to home".

It's possible the Miami server was simply saturated due to the extra traffic over the holidays, can you confirm if it's still a problem?

The troubleshooting article (where you got this template from) includes a link to where you can change your download location. Based on your results it should be set to "CDN". You may also note that when you download a mod the pop-up box has button with the server names in them which you can click to download it from there instead.

Hey Zachydoodah It looks like you haven't completed the required tests so we can advise you. Please test your speed from all of the Premium servers. It's very likely there's a problem at your ISP's end if all the servers are slow.

Think of it as "the straw that broke the camel's back". It might be possible to optimise it at some point, but it's fairly low on the priority list as we're trying desperately to move comments off the forum.

This has come up before. The gender field is hardcoded in the forum so we can't update it without a disproportionate amount of work. I may look again after Xmas but editing the forum in any way can cause lots of problems across the entire site. This is why we're working to decouple everything from the forum going forwards. I expect when we move to a new user profile system we may just drop the field entirely and you're free to add any info like that into your bio if you're comfortable sharing it.

It sounds like you might have a pirate copy. Please be aware of our Terms of Service. If it turns out you do have a pirate copy, you will be banned.

It's definitely bizarre. My only thought is the big download servers are our "older" servers so they're more likely to be on block lists for things like adult content. The smaller servers are a bit more obscure and haven't been around as long.

Looks like you're speed is solid to all but the Miami server. Can you download big files directly into your browser with the manual download button? Small and large files comes from different servers so there may be something in your setup that blocks the larger file downloads specifically. This could be PC security software or possibly even some kind of router or ISP restriction.

I've been having this same problem, but I can't seem to fix it. I've tried doing the Ctrl+F5 thing, but it only fixed it for my Forums page, and not my Nexus Mods page. The pic I'm trying to use is a screenshot, if that's important. As with Zanderat, it's showing correctly for me. The cache for that image should expire eventually and it'll update for you too.
