Interesting, if that works then it means you're dotnet folder somehow has different permissions to your ProgramFiles folders.

As an update on this, it seems that the metadata for collections is causing an issue in Firefox and Safari. There's a piece of data in a format that's perfectly fine for Chromium browsers but the other ones seem to throw an error.

We're not sure why, but Firefox is randomly breaking the Next website for some users. I suspect it's one of the "privacy" options it has. Are you able to view the site in Firefox when logging into a private tab?

This very much sounds like your local security app stripping out the updated version of that file.

The Vortex version and game version are unrelated. This most often happens when a security app on your PC sabotages the install by deleting critical files. In Extensions find "Gamebyro Plugin Management" and double click it if there's an error. In the event the error talks about a missing file, reinstall Vortex with your security apps disabled.

Did you retry the speed tests from the new location? Unfortunately a lot of this comes down to routing issues which can only be reported to your ISP for investigation. We've removed all restrictions from our end, so it's only the internet hardware the data passes through on it's way to you that will cause slowdowns.

The devs are doing some tinkering with the back end of the site so things like this might happen for a while as they patch up all the bugs that pop up during the updates.

Each forum has to be manually placed an a category by an admin, it's simply not something we have the time to keep on top of (we add ~50 new games per month). Ideally we'd have a web dev update the code that creates the forums but it's a very low priority task.

While your general broadband speed may be fast, your ISP's route to our servers may be using cheap routing which results in poor speeds. There are many different servers and cables the data passes through before it reaches you and something on that route is bottlenecking you. This is evident by your trace route results as the timeouts happen further down the "chain". I can confirm we are not applying any speed restriction from our end.

Make sure you haven't limited your speed in the Vortex settings. Also ensure you've set your best server to the default in your preferences.
