  1. I'll admit to crying freely in movies, tv series, some adds and with enough beer or especially wine  so the end of most drinking games has me crying. Most PC games seems aimed at paving the way for the sequel, even so, I certainly choked up in Dreamfall: Longest Journey and the endings of Oblivion and Fallout 3 (vanilla) left me feeling so desolate that I am simply unable to continue. I've never uninstalled Oblivion but I'll give Fallout another long while before re-installing it again. Have to add the feel good, big ass hollywood movie ending of Mass Effect made me laugh out loud when I finished it at two in the morning, and sent me smiling to bed. As does any map of Left4Dead 1&2.
  2. Like any guy or girl looking for a supermodel to date, he has all the attributes necissary for fantastic chemistry, and seems to be aimed at evoking physical appeal across just about all ages. Include humour, a bit of hesitant innocence, sensitivity, a bit of dirt and the opportunity to discover his "hidden" sensuality and you have all the check boxes ticked in a Cosmo survey, and have included everything on all the wish lists of inumerable dating sites. Lets not forget that he will swing a sword and shield in your defence, and I would certainly want to get to know that voice better. If he asked me instead of Wynne to darn his socks, I would have to feed him his shield. :ermm: But I dislike men looking for a replacement mommy and an automated laundromat service. If you can't cook you have not been hungry enough!
  3. Hey I always feel like such a creep, if I leave a message or not, but thanks for yours!
  4. Forgive me for asking, but what is haloumi? He he, a cheese that can be fried untill its crisp outside and gooey inside, that I prefer to splatter with lemon juice and scoff while still hot, cooling my toasted mouth with gulps of wine. And sometimes olives.
  5. We got a great deal on Left4Dead 2, and got it mostly because were were bored with the maps of the first one, and it had a chainsaw. Only really played with my two brothers, the younger being an amazing tank, the older the strategist and their pal Riggs as the sniper. I covered the rear, the snipers and tank's asses from specials, and spotted goodies. It wasn't the same with anyone else so I suppose it was a sibling bonding thing. If you have one or two buddies to team up with its great, and all mistakes can be blamed on the bot. I'm not really social enough to go play on a public server, but for a rpg player to look forward to the next lan says something, right? Playing alone just does not work. Great family fun ... for some! :teehee:
  6. I took the Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines discs and shattered them. Then I tried to burn them. With lighter fluid. :yucky: I loved that game ... but I hated that game.
  7. And after reading all that, I'm getting fried haloumi for lunch ... right after I finish my mozarella omelette for breakfast, two more reasons! :woot:
  8. I always think it the Arl can do better, and let her sacfrice herself for the sake of her son, her prejudice just grinds me. She pretty much started it, and I'm happy to give her the opportunity to finish it. :verymad:
  9. I normally play a dual wielding character, and use the shield and sword and two handed companions as tanks when I need to be protected. But I prefer the rogue dw to the warrior because walking past a locked door or chest that I cannot open freaks me out! I mean usually you get dumped in a cave of rats with two straps and a pocket knife, there could be armour in there that could save my life, or at least a sword that can kill a rat without having to repeatedly stab it through the eye before it scrathes up my bare ankle and gives me rabies!
  10. I've stopped my lurking, so here's a hello!
  11. Yesterday - It is done with Today - It is where I am ( AND I finished a second playthrough of Dragon Age) Tomorrow - It will bring a new game and more music  And Whiskey
  12. Here's a reason to feel better Jahmir0, I'll be turning thirty six this this year, and I do bite. My dentist tells my I should sleep with a gum guard, but I do not want to wake up with that stuck to my forehead in the morning, thanks. I'll only be able to vote in this again when I get dentures at forty one. Yay.
  13. Showers. I cannot get a foot in. The absolute worst is the bath & shower combo's you get in hotels, it's like they exist to tease me! "Here have a nice relaxing bath, but remenber WE CAN SPOUT WATER AT YOU FROM ABOVE ANYTIME WE WANT!!!" I've showered, yes, in under a minute flat, but end up splashing everywhere because I can't close the door or the curtain, and only if I can't adequately work my 1.8 metres through the basin piece by piece.
  14. I voted Ald-Ruhn because its always such a relief when you get to it - on foot at least. I like the redoran style, so I usually evict someone or move into the retainer quarters, if I'm a good girl ... it can be a so tricky to shack up with a councilor. Vos is usually where I build myself a Velothi hunting lodge because I love the architectural style and the" climate" All I get in Balmora is rain, rain and more rain!
  15. Yes (.40 in a safe) A Knopkierie ?
  16. Most of the action games you just don't have the choice to play a female character, which I can forget in a first person perspective. When I have the choice I will play female, because I can identify more closely with the character - it also means I will enjoy a bad game more if at least I become more immersed in the gameworld. It does bug me a lot when as armour I get consists of three leather triangles strung up with an ittie bittie chain and >shudders< heels, by al means make the stats on females different, but gimme some real armour at least. Its so sadly Hollywood bizzarre-cat-woman-balancing-act, the girl must have knees and ankles if titanium. At 1.81 metres tall I just have to lift my chin to tower over most of the men around me, in heels I have to do stately, I don't run - thats called prancing or gracefull staggering at best. Even Trinity (Matrix) got shoes you could kick ribs in with. I only play as male to make the top heavy steel armour and axe warrior pick flowers - they must be real strong because they don't fall over or need to be craned up on top of a horse :whoops:
  17. I was just over half way to Buddah's state when this thread was started, and I've just realized that in 22 days I will be 5 years from a category change.
  18. Morrowind. Yep, re-installed, found where I stashed all the old favourite mods. Not that I uninstalled Oblivion, but its more of a placebo at this point. And Left 4 Dead in co-op with my brothers (to make up for the lack of gore in MW) :mage:
  19. >Inhales<Banning Monolithic for making me want to re-install the Witcher after I've already downloaded the extra content and played through the whole thing again just last month, and for expecting liquid metal to behave in an orderly fashion whilst professing and interest in physics by which laws ... I just wont. >exhales< Mercury seems always already taken
  20. banning Birrii for not being banned in ten minutes
  21. Banning Wasder for not giving an old lady chocholate to go with her G&T translated as my fingers are slow and I have a craving edit much much later> dear heaven I think I'll just go buy that chocolate :D
  22. Ban Azir because I bloody agree, had to google the dam thing edit > I am not going to ban you for posting faster than me - I could be doing that all night<
  23. Bnad Aizr for maknig sepllnig flal itno the absys ... but not exelsive... ecses... whaaagh ... I fall in toooooo :wallbash: and quickly banning Was for killing my ban >whaagh again again<
  24. I was entertained for four days, improved my sniping skills and so on, and ran into a bug that wouldnt let the main quest advance. When the only advice (after a sunday's worth of searching and reading forums and so on) turned out to be 'reload a previous save game and see if it happens again' I unistalled and gave the disks back to my brother. Fun while it lasted though, but found the "Defend the camp" missions arbitrarily added to the PDA irritating.
