  1. If they're smart, they'd let Obsidian develop a new Fallout to fill the gap between 4 and 5.
  2. Glad to hear. You're the author, so you don't really owe anyone justification for doing what you want with your own mods. Just don't let the asshats take your own enjoyment away.
  3. Lots of people have it, but I'm a bit torn on the whole issue. It doesn't feel 100% right to distribute his mods when he has decided to remove them. But I also know how frustrating it feels to know that so many people are still using the mod and you can't have it. From my limited experience with L0rd, I'd like to think he wouldn't mind people sharing his work in private for a handful more people to enjoy, but that's not my call to make.
  4. Well, that's your right. But that's not what this topic was complaining about. :pirate: EDIT: What this topic *became about. The original post isn't that bad.
  5. Ideally, rebuilding the Minutemen would have involved recruiting actual existing settlements that then offer some sort of bonus to your faction, like Bunker Hill generating bottlecaps because of the trade caravans and farms generating food that increases the amount of minutemen patrolling the Commonwealth. Now you just recruit empty plots of land that you're expected to build up yourself or a house with a single family in it. As for the mods, I especially recommend Vanilla Extensions. The pictures don't do it justice at all. I had it bookmarked for months and held off because the stuff in the images looks pretty boring but finally installed it this week and I'm so hyped now to use all the prefabs.
  6. Combine these mods and you have some pretty great prefab stuff to work with: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10032/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10140/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16813/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16186/? My main issue with the settlements is that there's just so many and it clearly went at the expense of settlements that are part of the game. Nobody needs or even knows what to do with 30 settlements. There should have been like one for each faction and about two sandbox ones for creative use like Spectacle Island and Sanctuary. All the other locations should have been pre-existing settlements that you have no control over. Small towns like Bunker Hill. That's actually a mod I'd like to see. One that just removes most settlements entirely and replaces them with premade towns and such that you can explore, maybe even throw in a couple quests.
  7. You can port your settlements to new games though. Haven't done it yet myself, but there are cell ripper tools to accomplish that.
  8. It's really not Bethesda's job or responsibility to implement their patches in such a way that it doesn't mess with the very specific and wildly differing ways we have all modded our Fallout games. Being able to mod our game is a privilege and not a right. Nearly no other game devs allow and/or support it. Bethesda is far from a perfect company, but how entitled have we as a community become when we're actually going to b*tch about regular patches and bug fixes, something every other game community would applaud? They made Marcy Long non-essential. How can you not be happy about this?
  9. Judging by the trailer, there's going to be a slave collar in Nuka World.
  10. Yes, there's showlooksmenu. You can also go to Diamond City though. There's a surgeon there that can change your looks for 100 caps, which is the better option, since showlooksmenu has a very annoying camera angle. Must-have weather mod Unofficial Fallout Patch for bugfixing Landscape textures Just a few of the really basic ones. I don't know your personal tastes, so not going to bother posting too many. Best to just browse through the top files list, really. You'll find plenty of stuff you like. And then there's of course my own mods in my signature. They're the best ever made and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

  12. Today I loaded my save and noticed one of the houses I had removed with Spring Cleaning was back, only one of them however. Bushes and everything else I scrapped in the vicinity of that house is also back, and I can't select any of it, let alone scrap it. The rest of Sanctuary is fine, it's just one particular area. Any ideas on how to fix this?
  13. The townspeople gather around as DiMA walks into town. He confesses, but doesn't mention that Avery's the person he killed, to protect synth Avery. Ironically enough, Avery is the one who says that Far Harbor only knows one punishment for murder, and tells the barkeeper to execute him, who then shoots DiMA in the head. Avery doesn't seem aware that she's the synth. I've explored pretty much everything on the island and there's no sign of the previous High Confessor. I was hoping you could have him return to replace Tektus, but doesn't seem like it. He's just poof gone.
  14. Loving the new enemies like the crocodile-deathclaw, Nukafied protectrons and Mr. Handys, the bulky power armour guy, etc. But recoloured ghouls, really? The new gun looks awesome. The paddle is a bit too gimmicky for me. Love the raider armour at 1:04. Love what appears to be custom paint jobs for weapons and armours even more. Also, slave collar on one of the NPCs. Combined with the promise of becoming a raider yourself, that should be pretty fun.
  15. To be honest, the entire Institute storyline is full of huge plotholes. The ideas were there, but none of them seem truly fleshed out.
  16. Just go to Data > Textures and look for the textures of that mod and manually delete them. The game draws its vanilla textures from a special file that you need software for to open it. Anything you see in the Textures map is from mods.
  17. Texture is done, just need to make it standalone now and throw in some stat bonuses like +strength. http://i.imgur.com/DJTrhIH.png
  18. Looks great, definitely going to follow this project. The voice acting is great quality, I just don't feel like the voices match the characters. Armstrong sounds a lot younger than he looks, and Duke's voice just doesn't sound low enough for a super mutant. If you need help with textures, drop me a private message. I'm no master, but I can do a decent enough job.
  19. I'd offer my services, but I'm really just a photoshopper in the first place. I can create textures but I have no technical know-how or experience with it, like how the textures fold over the model and which part of the model references which part of the texture.
  20. So basically you just want the colours changed and a B on the jacket? Let me know, should be a fairly easy retexture.
  21. I'm going to freely admit that I don't know what steampunk looks like except that it has top hats. Does this look anything like what you want? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16011/?
  22. Not entirely what you asked for, but if you don't mind replacing him, this mod makes him a much stronger and badass robotdog: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11774/?
  23. Been out of the loop for a while now, but I caught up with some WIP mods today and it got me hooked on working on my own textures again. Figured I'd share some pictures for anyone else who hasn't been paying attention! DogtoothCG and Unoctium's Chinese Stealth Suit and Hellfire Enclave Power Armour Flipdark95's Institute Power Armour Newermind43's T51C Power Armour EdibleGrenade12's Skyrim Power Armour Go ahead and share anything that I've missed or that you're personally working on and want to brag about!
