  1. damn I'm wasting like 2 days trying to find solution for this.... everything in place like everything in the bodyslide folder yet I'm getting no image so the problem is incorrect path.... it's actually Data Folder not skyrim Folder
  2. did you mean water in the pipboy? sometimes it's gone to zero. it's settlement bug there is nothing could be done about it unless you go there and open the workshop in those particular bugged settlement work-space.
  3. for rpg game that takes years to make, all of it potential this is just not right, the closing is totally dull and leave with empty hole in the chest. I miss old rpg with tons of main quest to do, lots of event to experience and awesome plot. now this is starting to like fps based game rather than rpg based with lots of shooting and fighting but lack of storytelling. I mean for hundreds hours spent in the game all we got is basically 4-6 hours long main quest with just 10 second ending with war never change bullcrap, I know it's catchy and trademark of fallout since the beginning but at least add some weight in it. main quest surely could go longer and have more unexpected twist. I mean how in hell nick could even deduce the culprit in just 5 minutes of dialogue and this is large world supposedly there is more than just use dogmeat to track kellog. sigh... just venting out here...... sorry for my rambling
  4. that mods you're losing is dependant on settlement keywords, some mod use settlement keyword in order to run. so there is very little we could do unless the author updated the settlement keyword. the new dlc add few more stuff to the workshop and settlement menu that previously not included in settlement keyword. many sanctuary related mod like sanctuary prewar home, player pristine home are dependant on settlement keyword.
  5. i believe this one is the culprit SettlementKeywords.esm=1 try remove this and any mods related or depends on it.

I'm just missing vendors after far harbor trying to look at it now. shower, castle, beds bunk beds still available which is odd, also i have radio beacons. the only missing is vendor and stalls. i suspect you may encounter this when using far harbor SettlementKeywords.esm=1 this is the culprit remove it and any mods depend on it your missing workshop tab like vendor will re appear.
  7. this been annoying but I keep quiet bout it. but now plainly frustrating when starting new game. the problem is if traveling with companions. sometime they fell down step on the mines etc etc. but when they're down and i use stimpack or robot repair on them they don't get up and stay sitting on the ground. I know entering building revert them back but that's just annoying especially on the area around glowing sea not much building I can enter. anyone know how to fix this? without console or entering building? this problem arise with 1.5 before I didn't have this issue.
  8. need to remind you not ALL kidnapping are related to Institute, but some are. the Institute "Mankind Redefined' slogan is redefined in their way of life not redefined as trying to replace all human with synth. after 3rd gen institute didn't kidnap that much, they just kidnap and replace the key person to control the masses or simply to keep watch and gaining some intel. like diamond city the one that being replaced is the mayor and in goodneighbor is magnolia. however magnolia is not in political position so probably put there to watch goodneighbor. sometimes player settlement also infiltrated by synth. but most of the time they act as any normal settler, they work they walk and roam around and also help defend player settlement too. but sometimes their cover is blown and may be killed by other settler. institute do try to work with people topside but that long time ago. in time their children and grand children forget about this and just ignore people above ground entirely. synth at first very limited in response and totally robot brain and not much they can do. but gen 3 is more human like in this case they're used in many aspect in the institute. from the information gathered in the game synth are use for labor, guinea pig, maintenance, military, scavenging purpose, infiltration, and as waitress/shopkeeper. there is a couple scene when player first time going to the institute, 3rd gen is used in the experimental medicine as a guinea pig. to test the response and side effect of the medicine. they also been use to run experiment, the example is warwick family. warwick synth is tasked to run experiment on fruit that can grow in highly irradiated soil but with better yield. so this means institute do have interest on world above ground. institute overall goal is just progress, but not all of this scientist disregard human above, some do have concern for them. there is many conversation or dialogue that can be overheard voicing institute should stop treating human above ground as non human. however this voice probably too scared to openly vocal about it. this is also show that despite their believe some are wanted to change, so it is possible to change how institute view about topside human. their way probably seems ruthless but i can understand it "desperate time called for desperate measure" or so they say. for making it worse people topside threat them as enemies. so it's understand able if people of the institute has very little love for people above ground. then again we talk here is people who never go outside of their basement. people in the institute very like science and mostly just focus about it. but for whats it worth despite their bad side in the end player will became their director, there is several cases that show director can actually impact the decision making in the directorate meeting. also there is a terminal note that implying director could also shutdown project or start new project. so.... yes, player could change on how institute works however need to be charismatic leader and reasonable enough not to drastically alter but slowly change their view and goal trough the means of science in this case by diverting their science experiment like one that causing trouble for other human being to other experiment that will likely improve human life.
  9. ahh it's not that tricky.... trust me i have like 29 holotapes, just try to as often as possible entering building.... most holotapes is inside building or most notably inside desk safe dresser etc. it's not impossible to drops from creature but very rare if comparing from simply looting raider invested building
  10. Simply be undercover. In the main quest, you can start with BOS then wipe them out, I dont see how it can't happen in this dlc. yeap there is shocking back-stab option in the game but really short main story is really annoying....
  11. Jamaica plains just need some few tweaks and placing choke points, and pretty decent space. also not that far south so still comfortable as main base like hangman or bunker hill
  12. there is a way to start though it maybe not that different than going to sanctuary but since you mention olivia you can try like you don't know it by going to the Abernathy's farm first that way you can get to know olivia... and getting whole power armor and Abernathy farm quest done, and now you're part of farmer :smile: having pick up melons.... tending crop and get pay for it, and there is merchant to resupply but not anything fancy... or swing east and go to outpost zimonja and taking out raider there and getting your own premature fatman in the game.... if you're up for it. or swing to green-top nursery which also has traveling merchant... if you really really.... want to go overboard... try to go to murkwater if you're survivalist expert :D or just go to downtown Boston find dead scavenger body revealing treasure of Jamaica plains.... or maybe just go near cambridge police the open area you can found Jamaica plain flyer there, be a pioneer for town like settlement!! or straight into diamond city and start as hobo......and became a scavenger. trying to climb above and buy yourself that sweet diamond city home. and lastly i really want to try this since I also start new game, taking back castle without minuteman..... and see Preston reaction. or what will happen. ( please if you already do that don't share whatever you find here i'm try to see it for myself :sad: )
  13. it's vary, but completing about 80% game quest and main quest would be like lvl 128-172 the lowest is 128 BOS play and the longest is lv 172 institute play with minuteman and RR somewhere in between. but starting new as 1.5 came out. try to go the enhanced play with many additional mod.
