Plus the media section is mostly full of half naked skimpy ladies, which is fine if your into that. But I am not so I avoid the image share section now a days. The old design had much less focus on that and I could just ignore the images much easier when they where so much smaller.

Another issue is that I use the tracked files to keep tabs on if someone has commented on my mods or needs help, I find the fade away of the font really annoying and hard to look at. ):

I also dont see the Files of the Month on the page?

Just really not a fan. ):

i know what you mean, they could add a setting that hides the Media section so you don't have to see it or a setting that hides Adult pics for the Media section so you don't have to set your profile to hide the Adult stuff

Everything is so big, this seems made for mobile devices and touch screens more than PC screens, the new Nexus looks like Bethesda.net and that's not a good thing.

So much scrolling to get to the relevant information, everything is now in big blocs, big images, big text etc... the compact and smaller design of old nexus was much more efficient imo.

I don't hate it and again this is just my opinion but modern is not always better.

The new layout is way too busy! Do yourself a favor, stick with what has worked all this time.

I appreciate all the work that has been put into the redesign. I've got some congratulations/criticisms, though. Now, before anyone says anything, I've been navigating the new site for a while now to get a feel for it and am pretty comfortable with how everything works. How it's used isn't that different from the other site, it just looks different. Now that we're nearing this site being the mainstay, I feel like my thoughts are ready to put to paper, so to speak.

There's a lot of empty space, some of the buttons are quite large, and it takes a lot longer to scroll through things to get to what I want to see. The news section with all the tabs is quite nice, but it is too large for my tastes. The "Welcome to Nexus Mods" banner is huge. This space could easily be gotten rid of, as it only has 2 buttons that are accessible in other areas of the main page. If everything were more compact and provided more function, the site would feel more comfortable navigating. At the very least the ability to collapse/expand different sections, or select which sections we want displayed and which we want hidden in a profile setting, would be very welcome.

Now on to the mod pages... For the Trending Mods section, I miss the rotating previews of the other site, with the small description along side them. With the massive increase in size for the previews of these mods, I think it would be a convenient addition to make it so when you hover over one of them it displays the small description for the mod. At least something more than the "View Mod" button, which is already kinda obvious what clicking it will do without the button. It seems pointless to have the humongous previews even have a hover function if all it does is display one little button. I quite like the design for the regular previews, though. Being able to see at-a-glance what size a file is, the category it's in, as well as the small description, all without needing to hover over each individual preview, is awesome. On a side note, the Mod of the Month vote list section (the little one that used to be in the bottom corner) seems to be missing from the mod pages. Is this intentional, or just an oversight? There is some added functionality that I love. Such as the new drop-downs above the description.

I really like the new tracking center. The interface, the tabs, the whole design. It's compact, sleek, and easily readable and very functional. More utilitarian than it is shnazzy, if you get my meaning. It's very nice. The Favorites drop-down menu is really cool. I much prefer this one to the one on the other site. It has more slots than previously allowed, and is easier to use. Much appreciated.

If everything were just smaller and had more functionality, it would be perfect. It looks as if it was copied from beth.net, and is designed around mobile devices, or consoles, which makes no sense considering what this site is used for. Many mod pages have had their descriptions screwed up, and all around things need to be ironed out. I know we're still in the beginning stages, and there's a lot of other work to do, but these are the things on my mind right now.

Just another flat, tile-design, as seen on nearly every other crap-site in the internet the last 2 years.
But i must admit, the primary function of a mod-page is to deliver info. And they come in form of pictures most of the time.
You may explain, what your armor-mod does, how it looks, and where are the belt is attached... but no one will really imagine int. Put a picture on it, and kabooom.
And thats, what this design is made for.
Personally, i would had made some stuff the other way. But i´m not in charge. If have to, and i can, live with that.

I don't mind if they don't maintain the old one, I'll use a buggy one until the new one is fixed

Have had a look at the new design and have to say: Why did you bork my description page? Why are you forcing every image to display on a new line even when in bbcode and wysiwyg editors they are not? It looks absolutely horrible, and makes me look like I put no thought or effort into my mod page. If I put two images on the same line, I do that for a reason. Yes, it's nice that the video is bigger, but you have every single one of my NPC pictures on a separate line, and they do not need it - this would be why I didn't do what you've essentially forced me to do.

Take a look at my nexus page for my mod on the old layout, and then the new layout, and then explain to me why you've made it look so excruciatingly bad on the new one, and why I can't fix it?

Frankly, I think the new design is a mess. Away too bulky, hard to separate the overly busy sections in a single page and rather ugly on top of that.

On top of that, the changes in the colour scheme completely messed a lot of mods that were using the white font in their descriptions as the shade of grey you've picked is lighter (and even making it harder to pick a new font colour in the process).

New version is more than twice the lenght of the old 7487 pixles vs 2942 and thats with the tabs on top trimmed off. https://i.imgur.com/WapLPhh.jpg for comparison

Images I can not sort by last comment, this is majorly annoying as I would actually like to see what people say about my images.

and manage files Show more the 20 files is a "Premium Feature only" Really now come on.

Its bad enough that this site has gone down the redesign for mobiles when its a PC based Game modding site, without the above.

I personally understand that maintaining two different versions of the site may be too much work, and this will probably be an "adapt or die" situation. But, well, if the site is switched over for good and we're all forced to use the new redesign I'll most likely stop using the site altogether, or only visit very, very rarely. I have a choice in this matter, thankfully. I'll just take death  Edited by Jokerine
