  1. nVamp recommends loading stuff in the following order (note: Master files = ESM, plugin files = ESP ) falloutnv.esm official DLC esm Missions/Locations Master Files (like AWOP, Warzones, BeyondtheBorder, etc.) Companion / Overhaul / Major gameplay change Master files (FOOK, nVamp, Willow, NVRedesigned...) Weapon/Armor Master Files (WMX, WME, BOE, etc. Graphics/Sound Master Files (Improved Sounds, Improved Shaders, ElectroCity...) Any other ESMs ---- Bugfix plugins (Mission Mojave, NVEC...) Missions/Locations Plugin Files (any ESP matching the ESMs) Gameplay Plugin Files (this includes companions and overhauls) Graphics/Sound Plugin Files Weapon/Armor Plugin Files Any remaining patches
  2. You can run Mod checker (part of Wyre Flash NV) to check for conflicts. But post the entire load order and let us see what you got.
  3. I use both. FOMM has a couple features missing from NMM, such as export / import load order, copy (load order) to clipboard, force BOSS auto sort, and so on. But NMM has a better / cleaner interface, integrated downloader with resume, and so on.
  4. I think I see what happened. You installed the nVamp version of VVV (By Team nVamp) instead of the PLAIN VVV (by Team V3). Plain version http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41172 nVamp Version http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40204
  5. NMM only adds mods if you've "activated" them, i.e. installed them. They don't "just appear". I think you got VVV loaded, which is why we're seening nVamp. Maybe you should forget VVV and load Monster Mod or Monster Mod Wasteland Edition. Just a thought. :) There's a version of More Perks merged with NVEC so you can load less files, not sure how recent that is. You don't need PerkEveryLevel. FOOK will let you set perk every level (or every 2, or every 3...) It's in the readme. You have too many MMUE patches loaded. The readme says you load only ONE of regular, regular+AWOP, or regular+AWOP+NVInterior. You have the last two loaded together.
  6. NMM has some problems installing some mods and do a "crash to desktop". In general, the sky goes first, then everything else (that mucks with built-in assets). Your general order looks okay, so if you're crashing, I can only recommend you start disabling the mods one at a time until you hit a stable point.
  7. IIRC, the savegame contains info in the "cell" (i.e. map block) you're in, as well as some resources (i.e. patches and modules, esp and esm) that those use. Some of the mods you loaded after that savegame was created may be causing the problem. Remove the mods and the savegame may load.
  8. That looks like MTUI (more lines of dialog) with DarNified fonts, maybe one of the alternate font sets.
  9. NCR don't really care whether the hits are in stealth or not. Frontier is a lawless place.
  10. You may lose a save game or two as savegames saves some of the assets and can trigger CTD (crash to desktop) if those tries to load assets that are dependent but not there. I don't bother with WyreBash. If it ain't working, it ain't working and bashing, personally, don't help that much. YMMV. :) Post your new load order and we'll find something else ot remove.
  11. Forget Better Game Performance. Clean-Deluxe does a lot more and actually works much much better. I swear I saw like a 33% frame rate increase when I use it.
  12. Personally, forget nVamp and use FOOK (core only), NVEC (essentials only) and Project Nevada (core only), and Mission Mojave.
  13. FOOK and nVamp are not compatible with each other. FOOK's readme says that they are compatible with old version of nVamp, 0.7 or something. NOT compatible with later versions. I'm quite sure Mission Mojave conflicts with NVEC. I only got it to work when I use NVEC essentials, instead of Complete you got there. WME also conflicts with PN's Equipment, and possibly FOOK's extra guns. When I load PN, I only load core and cyberware, not equipment or rebalance. YMMV.
  14. If it crashes with NO mods, it's a HARDWARE problem. In general, this means either a video card that's overheating, or a CPU and/or memory that's overheating / stressed.
  15. Right now, Weapons Mod Menu crashed Nexus Mod Manager. I don't know why. I even downloaded a fresh copy. When I have hit activate, it just crashes NMM. I have to use FOMM, but even then it's now complaining that it's the wrong version and all that. ARGH!
  16. Download "Fallout configator" from here and play with the performance settings. If nothing works, reinstall FNV to make sure you have a clean vanilla copy.
  17. If it's like an 809 byte file, that's your Fallout_default.INI I think. You have to edit it to enable Mission Mojave to fix the faces vs. body mismatch and whatnot. Don't worry about it.
  18. Correct, before people got body armor .38 special is enough. As body armor got invented (bless you, Father Zeglen) hand guns got upgraded to .44 magnum and so on. I actually wrote a paper on body armor (and ammo development). .44 magnum was specifically advertised by S&W as "taking proof out of bulletproof".
  19. I'm going to guess that your CPU can't handle Wasteland Defense AND real-time settler. Both are VERY taxing on CPU as it needs to calculate a TON of stuff. Either one can slow your system. Both together?! You can try using the Configator to enable multi-threading in ALL the stuff. It may or may not help.
  20. Actually, Ulysses was nice enough to mark almost all the paths for you with that Old World flag symbol. :) But yes, I have a lot of problem finding my way across too.
  21. Isn't a grenade thrower sort of the same thing? I don't think the engine in FNV allow you to shoot THAT far, shooting across cells even.
  22. I put PN after FOOK and before the map updates. But then I only use Core and cyberware. I imagine rebalance / equipment will conflict with WMX / WME somewhat.
  23. Also noticed something Sorter's supposed to be active both in Pipboy AND Merchant / Inventory transfer, right? I have to find the pattern...
  24. Then you'll just have to deactivate the mods one at a time until you figure out which one is giving you the problems. I kinda looked over your load list and noticed you have both WMX and WME loaded. As they sorta duplicate each other you should pick and use only one. Keep in mind FOOK also has modified weapons, AND AWOP. I know I got AWOP and FOOK to play nice, but I haven't added WMX or WME into the mix just yet.
