By definition, the subspecies of a species cannot interbreed and produce viable offspring. So please list the subspecies of human being which cannot interbreed and produce viable offspring. You cannot, because such subspecies of human beings do not exist. We fornicate like rabbits and we produce viable offspring, regardless of the pairings. What is delivered as insult and what is perceived as insult is as variable as there are individuals. However; show me the literature which has been published which defines red hair as an inferior trait in human beings and indicates that a red haired human being is no better than livestock. You cannot. Yet there are piles of literature which use skin tone, religion, locale of origin or social practices as means of defining another human being as inferior. Delivering a statement based on one of these characteristics to an individual possessing the characteristic can easily be meant and perceived as an insult. And what your are addressing with this analogy is not racism, but hate speech. Specifically words and phrases which have as their sole purpose the inflaming of passion and anger. And such hate speech and inflammatory words should be as socially proscribed as yelling fire in a theater when no fire exists. And just to demonstrate how powerful these inflammatory words are, consider how they would impact your psyche where you habitually addressed with them. From this point forward, you are "Honky". Finally Honky, please explain to me how addressing someone using terms which demean them as a member of some perceived group will help bring people together? (Edit. I was going to use Klansman instead of Honky, but who knows? You might take the former as a compliment.)

First hypothetical, you tell what you know. You don't fabricate and you don't embellish. (And most people describe the gun in great detail, because it is what they focused on). Second hypothetical. Yes I do understand. You are attempting to justify superficial differences as determinants. But they are both species Equus, can breed and produce viable offspring and are being distinguished by characteristics unrelated to their species. If one carries this hypothetical to a logical conclusion, basketball players are not human. The logic in this hypothetical is the same used in the doctor/plumber analogy which was dismissed because the distinguishing characteristics where based on education. So unless you have a hypothetical that distinguishes between individuals based on non superficial characteristics specifically related to their species your hypothetical is doomed and you will not be able to justify smaller subgroups based on those superficial characteristics. Edit. I will add some examples. Girth, weight, height, skin tone, eye color, hair color, hair type, lip shape, nose shape, ear shape, neck length, handedness, visual ability, hearing ability, arm length, leg length, hip width, waist size, breast size, penis size, pelt density, body odor, shoe size, glove size, etc, ad nauseam are all superficial characteristics.

I assumed there would those who took the time. It maintains what little faith I have left. Thank you  My point however being that it is a case of mentality as much as anything else. People like to be different as much as they like to be the same, or fit in with others. Humans are complex organisms and well... there are many variances. I should know as I have all sorts of things wrong with me and surely at the 'shallow end of the dream pool' Problems I find across the board, self included, is a sorry case of inferiority/superiority complexes just person to person, in general. Sure you get people who get along, but like with the facade that is our political class it is largely on a somewhat superficial level. As the title of the topic suggests - I think we all have a love/hate relationship with ourselves and others, even those closest to us (maybe even especially!) 'Wrong war' in that it is likely in the battles with the artificial manifestations of our own intelligence where the frontiers of the future of our species will be fought. We are our worst enemy. If it is not in nuclear wastelands that this is realised then it is through the slow construction of our own obsolescence as we habitually alter our environment to the point where we are no longer able to survive as we presently are - with all relative perspectives rapidly converging into a much wider focus. I would agree with you on a person to person level. When faced with a individual, we generally tend to look a little deeper. Unfortunately, our pre-judgments of groups of people will shade our view of individuals. It is when we start pre-judging people and labeling them based on superficial characteristics that we step out of the person to person realm and into the broader realm called "race".

A discussion of racism + racist rhetoric + quoting debunked racial science + justifying racial stereotypes + denial of proven genetic science = racist. That is why. Your arguments fall flat. You don't have clue what you are talking about, and make generalizations based on information that you don't understand, that are NOT supported by the facts of the matter. Then refute my arguments with facts. Leave out the racist rhetoric and the racist stereotypes and the science that was debunked in the 1950's. Prove that we are not the same species. Prove that 'race' exists. Prove that racism is not based on superficial characteristics. We have. Where have you been? Obviously we are not reading the same thread. Your arguments have ALL been based on racial stereotypes, debunked science and opinions. You have presented no facts and no truths. LOLOLOL. If you say so. And yes, I guess we are NOT reading the same thread. Maybe you just skipped over those posts. The only argument I have seen you put forward, is ONE study, that states most humans have a lot of dna in common. That isn't news. It also doesn't prove your point. But, I really don't care to argue with anyone that simply refuses to believe anything that doesn't jive with their position. Bye now. One huh? I will exclude Bill Nye, because his comments are undated. The rest are from 2017, 2016, 2014, 2014, 2007 and 2000 respectively. Almost two decades of scientific investigation and results. So run and hide. Better that than face the evidence and your overwhelming hubris.

The highlighted line above is the part I missed. Made the change, tested and VIOLA! I have a flag. Need to tweek on the texture a bit but otherwise, you have lead me to success. Thank you. I am in you debt.
-
No. Added complete new flag based on the Minuteman Flag. New Static item, new Construct-able Object, new Material Swap, new Texture and new Material file. Using the same Model and Transform as the Minuteman flag. Which is why the Institute flag is completely baffling. It is what prompted the question about naming convention or file placement.

Estás perdiendo el aliento. Estos racistas no tienen concepto de la palabra humanidad. Su mundo está entre su silla de salón y la televisión.

I have done every thing you recommend, and my flag comes out as an Institute flag (and I blew them to oblivion :D). Is there a naming convention or a folder placement requirement? Or am I missing something really simple.
-
My wife challenged me to create her a flag for a specific sports franchise. So I figured it should be easy peasy. NOT. :wallbash: I could simply replace the texture on an existing flag and call it good. But that would just make which ever flag I overwrote cease to exist. :yucky: So a new flag is the thing, But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how the Material file is connected to the Static Object. I see the Material Swaps that turn the Minuteman flag into the Institute or Railroad or BOS flags, but not where that MWSP takes place. And the documentation for the Creation Kit is ... well ... underwhelming. Please, any help or hint would be appreciated.

And is is a lie. It is a thesis introduced in Nazi Germany to prove that Jews and Gypsy's and blacks where inferior to Adrian white blonde blue eyed Germans. But this disproven science will not die. It is trotted out every time a racist needs to justify treating a fellow human being in an inhumane manner. Recent science has proven that we are all one race. But this sound science does not fit a racist agenda, so it gets dismissed. So I am done with this. I wash my hands and stomp the dust from my boots. You are welcome to wallow in your ignorance stupidity.

Another facetious argument. And it is not my reasoning. I presented scientific evidence. Go debate against the science.

@Aurielius Again with the belittling commentary. I find that holding opinions in the face of scientific evidence to the contrary to good sense. (<- That is an opinion.) I find that attacking people for defending scientific data to be an intimidation tactic used by a self absorbed and self centered individual. (<- That is an opinion too.) An abusive person who places themselves above others and justifies their abusive behaviors with terminology which blames the victim of their abuse for said abuse. (<- That is your observable behavior.) And I used the scatological references because they appear to be at your level. (<- That is a value judgement of your social skills in relation to what would be considered acceptable.)
-
A reference to a children's social learning game is perfectly acceptable and allowed during social discourse. However personal insults and belittling commentary are not. The presentation of scientific findings in not opinion, so I posted no opinion. However, arguing against or discounting scientific findings is opinion. And as I said earlier; opinions are like rectums, everyone has one and the are all full of feces.

DNA is only part of the story though. Much as some folks like to deny it, there ARE differences between groups of people. Granted, a fair few of them are cultural, or heavily influenced by their culture, but, we are most certainly NOT all the same. Yeah, I know. And Global warming is a myth and the moon landing was faked and JFK wasn't really killed and aliens built the pyramids. Science is the only story. Everything else is opinion. And opinions are like rectums, everyone has one and the are all full of feces. JFK , the moon landings, Egyptians built the Pyramids and Global Warming are facts, the degree and rapidity of that warming is not an uncontested incontrovertible fact. We agree that science..the methodology / ability to test and prove a hypothesis with the same outcome is the only rational way to discern fact from conjecture. Bill Nye..the mechanical engineering guy is not my idea of a scientist no matter what he purports to be currently....so forgive me if I dismiss that one of of hand. Hey You was pointing out that there are differences between peoples that are cultural. I do not believe he was disputing the the genetic fact that we are all one species. When discussing racism, cultural differentiation is just so much misdirection. So I call BULLSH!T.

Scientifically, there is no difference between human beings. We are all the same. There is only the HUMAN RACE. DNA survey finds all humans are 99.9pc the sameOne Species, Living WorldwideTHERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RACERace is a Social Concept, Not a Scientific One (Op-Ed)Research confirms theory that all modern humans descended from the same small group of peopleBill Nye reveals the science of racism: “We’re all the same, from a scientific standpoint”Do Races Differ? Not Really, DNA Shows All differences are perceived by the viewer. And those perceptions are the foundation for separating humanity into smaller groups. And that separating of humanity into groups based on a perception is the definition of racism. But don't believe me. Check out Merriam-Webster.

Even though the relative destructive power of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki where low compared to the bombs in modern arsenals, the mentality to use nuclear weapons has been confirmed. And the use of nuclear weapons is all about the mentality of humans and not about yield. I would add that not including the facts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a form of denial which should not be tolerated. We must include these historic events in any discussion of nuclear weapons, if only to remind ourselves that we are capable of their use. And you do humanity a disservice when you disparage our collective ability to learn from the past. Collectively, humanity is pretty damned smart. It is a small fraction of individuals which are stupid as stones. Your evaluation of humanity is tantamount of placing humanity on a level with Lemmings. So I vehemently disagree. I will amend my earlier statement to say that should the threshold of nuclear weapon deployment happen today, even with the lessons learned from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, that it would be like opening Pandora's box. I never said that humanity is stupid. I meant that from generation to generation past lessons are sometimes forgotten. And if that is not true then why does Humanity make the same mistakes over and again? Your most cogent point is " from generation to generation past lessons are sometimes forgotten". Human history is fraught with ugly, shameful and horrific events. We collectively shy away from believing ourselves capable from such horrors, and denial is a powerful thing. Denial allows us to lie to ourselves and to delude ourselves. Thus the lessons are lost when these events are left out of our collective history or omitted from relevant discussions. We silently condemn ourselves for the past as our omissions condemn our future. There must be a hundred variations of the quote, but here is my favorite variant. Any civilization which deliberately ignores it's history is condemned to repeat it. -

Don't you mean 'Once again'? Nukes have been used in war already. And pandemics have occurred before. Black Death. Influenza. Diseases born by rats and their fleas or birds or insects arriving on the wind have spread worldwide before. Modern transportation only makes it easier. -
I'm old. My wife is convinced that I need a mental challenge or I will curl into a fetal position and start drooling. So she keeps me at the keyboard day and night. She is a slave driver, that one. Okay, serious. I wrote software for well over a half century and I enjoyed the challenges in turning ideas into executable code. Mentally, making mods is not that different. It is just a different set of tools. Papyrus instead of REXX. Creation Kit instead of ISPF. C# instead of Assembler Language. Learn the tools and the rest is easy. And I enjoy the creative process. So I keep at it because for me, it's fun. Now, let me paraphrase an old saw. "The act of creation is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. If one is not willing to put in the effort, one's failure is guaranteed." But don't be discouraged. As Robert Heinlein said, "Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something."

Braggart. Satellite internet. I'm lucky to get 1Mb and usually get about 300Kb. Took two days to download Fallout 4. Oh well, that's what I get for choosing to live on the backside of nowhere.
