  1. Ive got a couple of those, EDT, SFO and something else. I can see all the buildings from afar and the mountains look great so i havent put all that much effort into it. Regarding saves, those 2 saves are starting from the beginning of 2014. My latest one i started, i think, March this year. These are just my observations really, i too cannot fathom limits as a concept ;). This is why Skyrim has broken my bank at the hardware level XD.
  2. Which green and red robes we talking about here, the "fine clothes" ones or? Seems theres enough variety to me in my game, but then i am using mods obviously, nothing much at present that touches the npcs.
  3. You know, i played the first 95 hours of my current save at 7 grids. I changed it back to 5 while testing/patching another guys load order on my machine. 145hours in now, at 5 grids, same save, no noticeable problems. Having said that i agree with not changing this setting. Overall you have a happier framerate and you dont miss out on all the action. It kinda sucks out on Whiterun plains though, watching everything pop in. Edit - i have a previous 350 hour save that was at 7 also.
  4. I dont think he meant he runs fupdatebudget ay 500, thats just we way he typed the sentence. The loading screen budget seems like a fair enough setting to safely increase but my thoughts are if you need to, then your system is not handling all the scripts anyway, outside that window that is. For z-fighting, the terrainmanager settings seem the only combat. I run a splitmulti of 2, i still get 60fps mostly outdoors and its a good balance. I had it at 3 for a while but i noted better performance at 2. Also more z fighting at closer ranges with that setting higher. Edit - small observation i made to today, i reinstalled wet n cold. First save i loaded was at windhelm, mcm menu registered in 10 seconds. Out of curiousity i loaded a save outside Winterhold, looking south over the hills where i usually drop down to 50fps. Mcm menu took over a minute, maybe 2 to load. I might go back and test this multiple times to see if it always is like this.
  5. I had a $2700 laptop once, with a i7 and gt210m, when i got it i thought it would surely be able to handle lots more than my old 7300gt equipped lappie, albeit it was by about 50%, but compared to my desktop builds they have nothing. Eben the system i gave to my brother with the 550ti and Athlon x2 smashes the i7 lappie, as it should but by a lot more than i thought. Its hard to go back when you've had a taste of ultra ;) I would still keep ELFX, it shouldnt hurt.
  6. Its always gonna be a hard choice :/ I hate limits, thats why I forked over 1000s for decent hardware. Cos of bloody Skyrim and OCD. Lmao Edit - to answer your above question a bit better, its not necessarily the amount of esps you have, its simply objects and scripts you gotta cut down on. Objects mean more memory usage especially with hd textures and scripts, well that speaks for itself in this game.
  7. When i looked at the AV esp, there is nothing definite inside it to edit. Seems to be completely dependant on the patcher. Ill get to fixing it as soon as i can.
  8. Mods like honored dead do contribue to the problem because in your case you want to decreade the amount of objects loading into scenes. Behind those 150 esps you see in my LO are probably another 100 graphical mods for various things. This is what i call my "base" LO and i build on it from there. Each time i add a new mod or even a few, i run into tesvedit and patch it up
  9. Example load order: Active Mod Files: NOTES: There are some random item mods that might seem out of place. They are just there because I was looking at them before merging them all. Lots of patches that haven't been merged yet either. Ignore Smashed Patch, that's my own patch.
  10. ELFX is fine on its own, ENB is what will tax the frames with ELFX. I wouldnt get rid of it. Let me have a look at your LO again Okay get rid of sexlab and associated mods, they are script hell apparently. Ditch Skyre and just kryptopyrs mods, ie Crafting overhaul and sneak skills rebalance. Im going to go post an example load order for you when i get back on the pc, so you can attempt to sort your mods better.
  11. Its a pity that the game had to be this way. Just try to get rid of all the unecessary mods you can live without. I know that can probably amount to 1 mod sometimes XD
  12. ^^^This is true, and also its becoming more apparent to me that laptop gpus and also the AMD 7000 series cards are prone to memory crashes regardless of ENBoost fixes. On the other hand i setup my brothers load order on a 1GB 550ti with some texture packs and SMIM, and a few script heavy mods like CWO, WnC, Frostfall and EB and its running well enough for him. So it has become apparent that not all hardware is the same, this we knew but what im saying is it is even more variable than i thought. If we cant get it to work by eliminating all the usual suspects, then time to bail on the mods ;)
  13. In your enblocal turn off expandsystemmemoryx64 because it crashes you at absolute random ;)
  14. When you expand a mod in tesvedit, it will ahow you a bunch of categories in a list. These categories are all the different types of things in the game. The last one is worldspace. You probably wont find anything conclusive, but thats alright it was worth a shot.
  15. It is very possible the gfx memory is just not enough despite enboost. If you wanna test that theory, go edit your Skyrim INIs [terrainmanager] settings. Try blockdistance 0 at 20000, level 1 at 40000, probably leave level 2 at 250000 or drop to 200k and set treeload to 40000. Leave split multi at 1.5 (i play at 2.5, this is an ultra quality setting that help with z fighting) Now this will probably boost your performance a bit but at the cost of distant detail. What you are experiencing might be an infinite loading screen but it doesnt quite seem like it. Give that a go andxsee if the game stays stable for longer.
  16. And it would be very convenient for you if you went to "your account folder"/appdata/local/skyrim and backup all those files, because that is your load order, dlc and plugins files. Then you can truly drop your data folder over and keep playing ;)
  17. Well that confirms the missing link in my above thoughts about which resource needs to go first, seems mostly the renderer. I was wondering how the script could run on an object that hasnt loaded. I really need to read those statements before i can understand the exact reasons the fps is important, i read a lot into dx9 trying to understand why better hardware still suffered problems but ive never had any problems with script performance so i have never really played with settings apart from that attempt. All i know so far is the obvious that the updatebudget etc cuts into frametimes. Random thought that popped into my head just now, if thos is the case as you say CD, i wonder how someone thats playing the game with bad gfx and ini config thats getting a lot of framedrops (say someone that is playing with 8 prerendered frames and they keep dropping) or even someone whos playing without vsync and over 60fps, gets along with their game XD
  18. Well theres Cover-Khajiits if that suits your fancy. For a Khajiit though, i would imagine that Trade and Barter + Economics of Skyrim or Trade Routes would make particularly good roleplaying mods.
  19. I see, thanks for the info. I havent looked into any of the AI or scripts for any of this, i thought there might have been an easier way, but as you say its one of two evils. Just of the top of my head, i wonder if its possible to store a horses id via a spell or menu, whether manually or automatically and then say have a hotkey mini menu that acts like a quick select/favorites menu. Say for example, you have an mcm menu or your own. Then you have say 4 activators, and each one has a basic disable/enable and then placeatme command for the enable and a blank, definable reference that refers to the formid which has to be input via the player into the menu or by the spell for the horse they want in the slot. Then you simply toggle the horses on and off per say. Im not sure exactly how that could work, but that is what pops into my mind after reading your post. I do appreciate the enlightenment, so if you have any input on that id be glad to hear it ;)
  20. Regarding this bsa business, unless this works differently for the voices, but if you leave the extracted french voice files outside of the bsa, they should just override the bsa. The game is partial to loose files over bsas. But again maybe this doesnt work for voices. Works for anything else, including scripts.
  21. Lol i didnt see any pink mammoths. This i didnt know about. I just used the same 3 packs you mentioned. I can look at fixing that for you if you want. With changing names from English, it is easy as 1 2 3 with tesvedit. Just find the record that need changing back, you can find it easier with apply filter because they always highlight red or orange (well lots do that but still much easier) and once you click on the record you see on the right the tables with all the info, you can find the name and change it. If you Skyrim esm is Italian, and mod change to english, you will see it clearly. You can actually "drag and drop" the Italian name onto the English name and it will change it! Very easy to do :) If it is a completely unique record to the mod, it wont be highlighted if it hasnt been touched by other mod, but you can just find the record and type the name manually. It can be annoying if a mod updates so what you can do is right click on a record and select "copy as override into" then just select the custom patch or make your own new file from the menu. This way the custom patch acts as a permanent master patch for all things you want to patch in your game. Have a go at it, its very easy to get the hang of ;)
  22. Oh lol, i just realized i havent asked about your enb setup. This is key to the stability also. Can you post your enblocal.ini setup please. Also, ENBoost is in ENB. You didnt need to download that extra thing. You can just use the updated ENB binary from ENB website and turn the gfx side of it off if you want.
  23. Lots going in in that last log as it seems you loaded a few saves. The game crashed while a script was running still but it might not be the cause. I have to look at the load order a bit further. In the meantime you can too, in tesvedit have a look under the worldspace category and look at any highlighted records, particularly if they are red or orange, and note down any mods you see in the records if they touch anything relating to navmesh. Usually incorrectly patched navmesh causes a ctd in a specific area.
