If you remove the d3d9.dll does the game still crash? If your game wasn't crashing before installing RealVision and it doesn't crash after removing the dll, then you have a problem with your RealVision install.

Did you install a mod just before the problem started?

Post your mod list in spoiler tags. You may have a conflict with your body textures.

Can you post a daytime screenshot for comparison?

When testing a follower mod, you should always save one cell away and use that save for each subsequent tests. My other suggestion is to check your relationship. After finishing the quest, perhaps you need to raise your relationship +1.

First, some of your mods are not placed correctly. I know it is a drag but, you really need to read and follow the modders instructions as to load order. BOSS can help but it is always best to follow the modders suggestions. Second, you have a lot of mods (many I do not recognize), are they a year or more old? Take some time to track down your list and mod installation. Clean them as per BOSS' instructions.

It sounds like Windows Resources have some things prioritized and take precedence over Skyrim. Try shutting down unnecessary programs and processes that you are running while playing. That said, alt-tabing through a few times will usually restore the game but you may have the mouse pointer show. Save if you need and restart Skyrim.

You need to post your load order. mods list and BOSS log. Be sure to use spoiler tags.

Since you use NMM, go to the Plugins tab, on the left side (fifth down) you will find "export your current load order". Do that to a text file, the copy the information and post it here inside of spoiler tags.

Not sure if this is what you are talking about but, here are a couple of examples. I. If you want to create a bsa, use Archive.exe found in the Skyrim folder. Drag and drop your required files to it (not the esp) and create your bsa. Then make a folder on your desktop that contains the bsa, esp, and any other file that wouldn't archive. Use 7-zip to create the combined file. 2. To use all loose files, make a folder on your desktop and copy your esp, and any other files required (preserving the file structure) there. Then use 7-Zip to compress the file. Hope this helps.

Kitiara, is not available via the mod author. Only by a upload by someone who has previously downloaded the mod. While this is technically not piracy because, no one is claiming the mod as their own, it is a gray area. Both Anna and I know the author of Kitiara and he is a very angry young man. I suggest caution using his mod.

If you must replace CBBE (instead of using a lower res version as Jeir states,) use Oubliette directions. I would just add one caveat. If you use NMM to uninstall the CBBE textures, close and restart NMM before loading the UNP textures and meshes. This just makes sure your cache is purged. Actually, it is good practice when uninstalling any mod, before adding a replacement via NMM.

Use Pure Water or Water, not both.

All ENB's are a matter of taste and I usually only use one to take screenshots. RealVision is very good if your machine can handle the FPS loss. I use E-ENB but am thinking of switching to Serenity ENB by prog80.

If you are loading the changes you made with NPC Editor, you need to dump it and start over. Any hair added with the NPC Editor has to be cleaned with TESsnip.

Yeah, everything looks ok. Besure to use SSMM with your ENB or ENBoost. Limit the resolution of landscape and other graphical mods to 2048 maximum (1024 would be better,) you can't tell that much difference unless you have a monster monitor.

Kitiara is no longer available to anyone, The author became angry at negative comments (even though he had 800+ endorsements) and simply pulled his mods. And hey, sampsamp, Thorald doesn't break any lore, he is just not your usual Nord. Or maybe he is. I am biased though. :dance:

NPC Editor requires the understanding and use of TESsnip. Both are out-of-date programs and should not be used. Use either Racemenu and save as a .npc file or, as I do and djjohnjarvis advises, use the Creation Kit.

You should have no problem especially if you have 8 gb or more of ram.

Irregardless, your Unofficial Skyrim Patches are in the wrong order and you will never have consistent gameplay until they are ordered correctly. As the mighty Renn has already said, refer to the USKP page for correct ordering. BOSS does not order them properly.

Did you do this in the Creation KIt? Go back to a save before you made the changes. Validate your cache on Steam.

are you using "Live Another Life" or the vanilla wagon ride? "Live Another Life" may be English only (I am not sure if there is a German version.) Other than that Keine Ahnung!
