There was already a project like this, and everybody abandoned it. Oh, and I have an epic, and I mean professional EPIC, for Elsweyr. Prologue and first 4 chapters already done.

No, TESO is a bad enough sell out slap in the face money grab. Keep our ES singleplayer.

Most of my favorite builds aren't even available anymore in Skyrim.

Where did Ulfric learn dragonspeech
Enatiomorph replied to FrankLeeDeRainged's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Ulfric says he learned from the Greys. Studied with them as a boy. -
1000 could have responded, still would have only been a small, insignificant fraction of players.

The mods I say are missing are the most requested cut features from Sky, or are you saying I should make these mods? Yup. Making mods can be much more fun than playing the base game - It is also just as addictive and you might even learn something in the process. Making mods is not for everyone, and there is a steep learning curve if you have never done any programming or computer 3d model making. The hard part is actually getting started. Pfft, I'm not doing Beth's work for them. -
Pointless pointless was pointless. This doesn't give an accurate account of anything.

[SPOILERS] My very Own Skyrim FULL review

Yeah, the game is dumbed down and cut to hell, but there was no rush to start the MQ. -

Look again. Not to mention all of the cut things from Oblivion to Skyrim. -

There Is no spell creation mod. There is no good attributes mod, or anything I said. I didn't say anything about brutal. Wouldn't play a DS game for RPing, as it is shite for it. -
Sims....oops, I mean Skyrim on XBox
Enatiomorph replied to StayFrosty05's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
What figures? I didnt give any figures. You stated that Skyrim would have sold more if it didn't have a console release. There are figures, if only implied, in that statement. Figures which have no evidence to support them, or really, any grounding in reality. The simple, undeniable fact of the matter is that Consoles drive the gaming industry. Not releasing to at least one console is cutting out a massive market. No, I said Sky would have sold the same if it had all of the cut features (which would have required Beth initiative and probably an overall delay - which is fine for a better base game). Never said anything about a PC only Skyrim. If a first gen console game (OB) can have this stuff, so can/should Skyrim. -

There are no (good) attribute mods, (good) acrobatic, degradation, or no spell creation mods proper. Not to mention too many mods=Skyrim lags, regardless of system or tweaks. Although yes, there are a lot of good gameplay mods that add diversity, specifically RP diversity like TC wants. -

I'm not really sure that those they are marketing the game to are mush heads, as you say, or simply people with jobs. And there are quite a few indy developers who are still building old school, complex RPGs (the TES games have never really been all that complex) if that's what you're looking for. Avernum comes to mind. It's not dead. Peace. People that randomly pressed buttons without reading at character creation=mush heads. People that confused sliders with a spreadsheet=mush heads. Beth's own PR. Yes, TES has been that complex, it is in fact the pinnacle of the cRPG single player RPing medium. IT is effectively and can be(even without mods) a single player Tabletop-esque RP medium. You act as if everything people want back are some new concept, the grand majority of this stuff was in vanilla Oblivion, of all games in the series. (the most criticized of the ES, next to Skyrim). Skyrim is a joke for RPing diversity compared to previous games and their expanded mechanics. What figures? I didnt give any figures. -

OB and Morrow in fact give more replayability with Spell creation alone. A lot of unique builds (builds you would definitely enjoy) are no longer even viable in base Skyrim, and magic mods dont help either. With that said, have you RPed a bard (music mod), farmer, addict, miner, smith? -

...Sky would have sold the same if it wasn't dumbed down and cut to hell. It would have, in fact, sold even more. Not sure why anybody would want or advocate less of everything, or defend the mush heads Beth marketed this game to. It isn't PC players that are in the minority, it is gamers that actually like RPGs, that RP and dont need their hand held. The minority is the Vets, who knew what was there before, and see less now. If ES types were a dime a dozen, it wouldn't matter, but they are not. Ruin it, and people that enjoyed ES for what it was and what it should be, are out a genre. -

Enatiomorph replied to StayFrosty05's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
As I've said before, not really sure what's wrong with that. Everything, this game was dumbed down and compromised just to run on their inferior hardware, dont need to placate them anymore than that. And that was too much in the first place. If you cant have fundamentals of the series in because of hardware and time limitations, then just wait. Better than giving us an ES made for twitching ADD riddled, "next best thing" crowd-ers. The people Beth marketed this game to, the "I wantz heqdshotz dragonz as a viking!" crowd. It's pathetic and mostly Beth's fault, but it is also on the consoles and their demographics. -

...Er, this mod was made for console players. And lol at all "the sims" crap, guess these people never played Morrowind. -
Meh, they made the dumbed down game that is Skyrim for console players, they didnt need to give them anything else. The only good thing is this gets rid of M$ 30 day exclusivity clause.
-
Most of Sky's problems come from the cutting and dumbing down.
-
There is a way, but it is only temporary, as in you have to enter it every time you load up, since you cant set it. setgs fjumpheightmin X There are some acrobatics mods, but they mostly suck.

Is oblivion Fun to Play after playing skyrim?
Enatiomorph replied to WhiterunPrince's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
There was nothing wrong with the player character leveling system in OB, just level scaling.
