  1. Okay, what I mean is, avoid the following types where possible to get maximum stability and then add the favourites, (in this order) I) Heavily scripted mods (eg Frostfall, Basic needs mods, etc) II) Graphically heavy mods like ENBs, RLO and ENFLX III) Patches like ASIS, AV, GELO, Bashed Patches, merges IV) AI heavy mods, or mods that are likely to use lots of CPU power V) Any mods that are some what dodges, or older, pre-CK Circular masters means that when you installed a skyproc mod, you installed it incorrectly and the patcher added a circular master to two or more of the patches. Definately need to tone down on the mods though, do you have a mod count at all? ~SD
  2. Theres a console command for that, if you simple want to move the camera and change x,y,z values, try better 3rd person camera
  3. I feel like it may be vampire related regarding the eyes and the distinct tone of the skin, check and copy load order?
  4. Alternately, you could look up ALL OF THE QUEST IDs and SQS them to the final stage by commanding player.sqs xxxxxxxxx and then the quest ID player.setquest to stage xxx SOmetimes you have to set them in order, so if theres 50 unique quest stages, you have to set 50 unique stages. ~SD
  5. Probably a master inconsistency or a circular master issue, try deleting all SKYPROC patches, re running all the patchers and activating them using the SKPYROC INSTALLATION PROTOCAL or using SUM and re doing any bashed/merged patches. Also, cut down on your mods, any more than 25 Heavy scripted ods, 30 non heavily and 40 non scripted will beincredibly unstable in my experience. OF course, its totally dependant on several other factors, not reserved to system, specs etc...
  6. Exactly!I had brand loyalist fan boy/girls who constantly preach how good their parent company is.
  7. The simple answer is no. There is a way, but its so complicated, it would actually be less work to not do it. Theres actually two ways, the one im thinking of is tedious and wont result in the rewards ascociated with the quest completion. Sorry ~SD
  8. Where to start, ill ask some basic trouble shooting questions first A) Have you run BOSS over your mod order? b) Are you aware of scripting errors/load order related errors/ overload errors? c) Do you know what papyrus is? d) How long did you play before the freezing started happening, and what happened immediately before the freezing begun, est? e) Could you post your system specs?
  9. Look, in reality, AMD can sh*t all over Nvidia, especially with next gen cards. Last Gen, Nvidia killed AMD, especially in the high end cards, the 690 being the most advanced and powerful GPU setup and then the titan but now, the 700 range is going to be blown out of the water by the next "proposed all dual-core GPU" setups being introduced by AMD. Im Nvidia, at the moment, only because I like that the 700 range being smarter than the 600 and any AMD range but the way things are shaping up, with AMD about to launch the most powerful dual core stable setups ever seen and also beating intel to the 5ghz processor, id say i'm going to quickly switch over. AMD eventually is going to have bragging rights unless Nvidia manage to pull a miracle from nowhere in the high end 700 range, Loyalty to performance, glory to the winner Obscurity is for the under achieving, and those that never changed ~SD
  10. Should be supported, as far as I know legendary edition is simply Skyrim normal with the game patched up to 1.9 and all DLCs. SHould be fine, does it run through steam?
  11. Thanks @steve40! You probably understand how big of a fix this is, this, for me, is the Skyrim fix. THE Skyrim fix, do you take suggestions at all? I have a bug but im not sure if its a papyrus error or a quests/gameplay issue Thanks again man, youre the best
  12. Don't you dare to say something like that! Maker of apocalypse spell pack has made playing mage much more pleasant and fun! Im assmuning you're aware that Enaisiaion is indeed, the maker of apocalypse :P
  13. YEah,im having the same with Flora Overhaul, i never properly investigated it as it wasn't really a major bug for me, maybe upload load order for me to have a look at?
  14. YOu have to go into your Skyrim.ini file, in the games folder, its to do with one of the edits, cant remember which one, just research it, easy enough to find
  15. Do you mean in the CK or in game? In the CK its easy as pie, in game, not possible
  16. Ill try the non hack version, if it works, I can use SkyTEST to test it!
  17. Nope, that would fundementally destroy the game, like technically, perhaps a good idea, but it would wreck everything! Have you been in the CK and seen the complexities?
  18. THANK YOU! Im so glad someone finally got around to fixing this, it was by far, the most detremental bug in the system! Thank you so much!
  19. Could you upload BOSS list, or alternately, your load order/plugins.txt files> Thatd help, also any texture/mesh overhauls you may be using
  20. First problem here is that the Unofficial HiRes patch has been reported to cause inconsistent crashing. Something to do with the way the texture maps were exported, i'm not exactly too sure. Secondly, Sky TEST has some serious problems with the papyrus issues, the lvlpredatorscript cause havok, not only in skytest, but even in the vailla game. If you can, remove it as soon as possible, with a load order that large and comprehensive, you're bound to run into crashes often. Thirdly, Alternate Start is good, but it does have issues with any other mod that alters the "MQ01" quests, that is, the very firs quest. If you can figure out which one is causing the issue, you'll have to choose between them. Finally, this is in relation to SkyTEST and Birds of Skyrim. Both of them add lots of new AI packages and creatures, often through scripts or the inclussion of the ingame vanilla scripts. (As with most scripts based mdos) This means that they are inherently incompatible. I'd suggest removing Birds of Skyrim, but it's up to you. IN short, trim it down, keep non scripted mods (weapon and armor) but don't go over board even with them. If you can, try and get it below 50, if not, try and get it really stable. You have heaps of scripted mods in there, and theres no one sure fix, theres no one mod causing the issue. Id say its death by a thousand cuts! Good luck! ~sd
  21. I understand that both the PS4 and the Xbox One are using the x64 architecture in their consoles. In face the hard ware is stepping closer to high end PCs more and more. I've heard, not reliably of course, that the PS4 maybe using a 128x framework, meaning it allocate much more than 4gb, its also using dual channeling for the RAM and DRAM, plus its on DDR5, so they'll definately be some major graphic and software enhancements, obviously. The thing about the Game Engine, the CreationEngine, and the graphics engine is that they're becoming increasinginly intangible. You've probably heard of Physx, if not, its a feature of newer Nvidia GPUs that allows advanced physics features to be rerouted to the GPU and processed therefore, through the graphics engine. The reason that Skyrim's physics propeties is because the actual engine is kinda clunky. In case, again, you didn't know the engine is called the Havok engine. Any physics are processed through the CPU therefore (also why Skyrim was suprisingly CPU heavy), through the Creation Engine which is fundementally buggy. (Its really over 8 years old now). DirectX, I believe, had stopped production in that it may no longer be producing new graphics engines for PC. Before that, we relied on them to produce the engines for the games, i'm fairly sure that ALL games post-1999 use directX. Most likely, some sort of secondary engine will pop up although im not knowledgable about graphic engines. On stability, even if we did see directX11 integrated into TESVI, itd make it much more unstable. Its like this. Skyrim is almost capable of being labelled "next gen" on high end PCs. Mostly, this is due to the dynamic story, dynamic world, great graphics and the massiveness of the world. When it works. Remembering the graphics engine, the scripting engine and the game engine are different and that most crashes, 40-50% or bugs occur because of papyrus and the same with the game engine, it is not plausible to go foward without A) seriously rethinking the creation engine or B} Re making one from scratch. ~SD
  22. Number one for me, is definately a new engine! The Creation Engine sucks. Lets be serious and honest. It fuddles and AI, causes havok with certain aspects of the game and often leads to massive save game instability. Sure, engine issues have plagued most Bethesda creations for quite a while, but its about time we saw something better, more solid. Rather than a revamp of the last engine, Oblivion>Skyrim, or a shoddy recreation, it'd be great to see a really comprehensive, effective over haul. This also goes for the papyrus scripting engine. Most mods have issues because of it, whether it be from Kahmuls locational damage with delays on scripts because of the speed at which papyrus may excecute at it is seriously limited or larger ones such as the lvlpredatorscript.psc issue associated with almost all mods that are seen to alter the AI.
  23. YeahI know, but the last entry in the papyrus log has consistently been "winnar is you" errors Plus, I have a professional interest in finding out what the hell it is, the number changes so it doesn't seem likely its a vanilla achievment, not to mention the fact that it doesn't seem very "Bethesda" :3
  24. It is somewhat game breaking, although, one must consider that many game play elements are inherently also, game breaking. Also consider that most of the vanilla magika spells are generally insuficient to deal with end game enemies. I would consider a game play mechanism like that not to be game breaking on the premise that it can be considered to be like a combo. Like having a sword of leeching stamina at high levels and being able to perform almost unlimited power attacks
