  1. but this mod require breeze or ropert body mod, which i dont use Alright, you didnt say VANILLA bodies in your first post. So I assumed you where open to all suggestions. Never mind then.
  2. Okay thanks so much. If I open the GECK using NVSE and edit something in it, would that mean my mod would require using NVSE even though I am using no scripts or anything? Sorry to pester you with questions No, only if you use its features at least this is my understanding and dealings with it.
  3. My mod Spice of Life has some western themed clothing: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44476/? However if you find a armor you love but its to low of stats for what you need, simply opening up GECK or FNVEdit and changing the stats is super easy and fast way to get the armor you want. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOZOh24vKxU
  4. bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 Does not effect Textures .dds files, it effects EGT which is very different. I believe it simply helps to force the game to load them, because if you do not you often get mismatched skin and head colors (not textures, but how the game loads the colors of the skins). So unless AWOP adds female face textures that would override DK's (which is does not) then its 100% fully compatible.
  5. Ah I think the wording didnt come across as you wanting custom made stuff, then yes its fine.
  6. You are not allowed to upload FO3 meshes and textures for FNV, they are different games with different assets. Some meshes and textures are included in FNV those are fine to use and upload, those that where not included are NOT legal to upload.
  7. You need to install the nif scripts for blender, the link he gave you has everything you need.
  8. A .Nif is a 3D mesh, a .dds is a 2D texture. So for editing meshes you need a program like Blender (with .nif plugins). For editing a texture you need a program like GIMP, and make sure you download the .dds plugin. Then you use Nifskope to put the whole thing together.
  9. I am fine with restricted, so long as anything you might really really need is found in Utah. It would be more then alittle annoying to not have the basics in the area, not enough to unbalance but enough to get by at least. Place to get Food/Water Place to store stuff, rest, cook Place to buy at least minimal ammo/meds if needed Someone to repair stuff
  10. There is no mod called FONV Unofficial Update Patch, do you mean the patch that comes from Steam? Simply turn on updates for FNV in steam, or are you pirating the game which is not legal and not legal to speak about on the Nexus site. In that case you should look for help else where.
  11. I dont use NMM for FO3/FNV, i do use FOMM as it was made just for the game only if the mod offers FOMM version that is scripted. Really some games run fine without archive invalidation they never need it, BUT then there are games that have issues without archive invalidation and as a modder its in your very very best interest to post install instructions that make it easier on the modder and the mod users. Which means most mods will state you need archive invalidation, even if you dont think they need it. Its better to say you do then have people not know what to do if the issue comes up.
  12. I truthfully believe they do need it, alot of modders assume you have done your job and read up on modding. Weapon Retexture Project states "You might need some form of archive invalidation to make them appear; I recommend launching your game with Fallout Mod Manager (which you should be using anyways!)"
  13. Yes, every time you install a texture/mesh that overrides a vanilla texture/mesh its best to do it again. Its super fast and easy to do, so its best to do it rather then run into errors in game.
  14. I personally have a large amount of the textures unpacked and installed with Wrye Flash, because I require them for modding. But if your not planning on using them for modding purposes I do not see the point to unpacking everything, it will make things harder to manage for a normal user.
  15. When I see a tree and think wow those textures are great..... I do that more then I should. :x
  16. Of course its not, so long as you are not bumping a thread (which you are not, its just the only rule in this forum) then your good to request. You may not get any help (as people tend to be busy with their own projects) your not doing anything wrong. You might be able to take the mesh from Tailor Maid and put it over a female jumpsuit mesh, you would need nifskope to do so.
  17. You are more then welcome to request whatever you want whenever you want, I do not know if the armor has been done for females or not but the Tailored Maid mod will give you the ability to make the armor you want.
  18. There is one in my Spice of Life mod, I have a few armors and clothing in there that look old western inspired. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44476/? There is also no such thing as a shoulder slot.
  19. You will ruin all the hair in your game, since it requires to be packed in a BSA for the egm to work.
  20. First you should not use skeleton.nif (you will need to go back to a save file you made before importing that skeleton.) instead use the vanilla body whatever gender your making the armor for, you will run into bodies not lining up with hands and heads. At least in my experience this is a issue, I notice it alot in Type 6 and Type 6M because it was exported with skeleton.nif. Second this sounds like a shader problem, make sure your turning on the right shader options when you export. When you go to export it there is a section called Shader Options, click the Cloth button. You will need to apply skin shaders to skin manually in nifskope.
  21. Values have to be added/edited into each mesh in a Program like Blender or Max, you have to go through and manually select all the dismemberment and assign them their partitions. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Rigging_skinning_and_dismemberment
  22. You can technically go up to 255 as that is the hard cap, BUT you can start having major issues around 150-200. The more mods you have the more likely you are to have game breaking bugs and major crashes, the fewer the better. Also if you get to many items active or not (esp/esm/bsa) in your Data folder your game breaks and you start seeing red !, purple textures, and corrupted save games.
  23. Save the game with her in front of you first. Start turning off mods in batches until she disappears, when she is gone you know you found the mod.
  24. There are no textures for molerats IN the GECK, they are connected to the molerat mesh.
