  1. You should totally pick up Rumarin then, he didnt get into the college so he has some things to say about it all and he is a mage companion but not in the normal sense.
  2. I tend to play whatever I feel like at the time, gay/bi/lesbian/trans I have played them all, I think its a lot of fun to try different characters a lot so many options. Fallout New Vegas is a favorite of mine because you can play a gay or lesbian and it has special content just for you, it makes things much more fun and replayable. Their site has more specifics on exactly where to meet them, but the gist is: Rumarin: is near Windhelm in a small ruin named Yorgrim Overlook. Raynes: is near Solitude in a cave called Lost Echo Cave. Jaspar: is in Dawnstar he can be found either at the light house or in the inn. There are even more bisexual options for men but those are the ones I have had the most encounters with, Rumarin has some of the most content in the mod follower wise and he is a mage and tons of fun. Even has some Dragonborn content in Solstheim.
  3. Yup tons of female gamers, strangely enough most that I know play gay male characters... o_O I played the Agony and Rapture mod, I found the story to be pretty interesting and well done sometimes it assumed to much for my taste but other wise one of the few mods of its kind. Julan is super awesome, if you ever do get Morrowind working get him. I also suggest Ruined Tails Tale and CM Valtierro if you play Oblivion Ruined is gender neutral and Valtierro has specific dialog for males. Only suggestion currently for Skyrim is Interesting NPCs, the followers Rumarin (TON of content, not much romance though) is gender neutral (bi) and Raynes is gay and pretty twisted lol. Also Jaspar who is gay and I find to be pretty interesting a character.
  4. I think your reading waaaaay to much into this: 1. Redguard house with patio, her house has a small entrance with some chairs very clearly nothing like yours in anyway other then its there. 2. In the middle of the nature, almost every house is in the middle of nature your only other option is to conflict with others mod and put them in towns. 3. Near the Hammerfell border, where else would a Redguard build a huge house dedicated to his homeland? The lamp is a toss up because its pretty much a lamp in the vanilla game, I am also pretty sure I have seen it in another house mod. I admit I looked through your whole WIP thread again at the pictures and saw no lamp at all (unless you removed the pictures?). Of course you all used the same meshes and resources, there are after all only a certain amount of resources for this kind of house around. Now please do not take this the wrong way as I do not know Elianora, but I truly doubt Elianora saw your mod and thought "Hey he is doing this project and working super hard on it, I am going to make a house like his and make it better faster. Because I am competitive and need to monopolize the house mod market." I will say it again your houses are absolutely nothing alike, yours is massive and on a larger scale with a quest, Elianora's is smaller and compact with really only a couple "rooms" and you kill a dragon to get a key. Only thing similar is its a Redguard house. Anyways I think there is more then enough room for many mods that add two towers to the game, neither one will be the same or made for the same reasons in the end.
  5. I'd probably be more interested if it was a little more gender neutral. I can't really play it if he'll call my guy princess or my lady all the time. xD According to the blog, they'll be making one for straight guys eventually (not sure about gay/bi guys), but one for straight ladies is their current priority as we have, well, absolutely nothing as far as in-depth romanceable males go. XD Yeah... not really looking for a female companion. I'm gay myself so xD (and I really don't care much for the popular female marriageable companions) Yeah my current characters problem too, he is gay as well lol.
  6. I am not sure what your talking about, your houses are nothing alike in any way other then being inspired by Redguard culture. I like Khune alot (and will use it) but it has no real outdoor areas, no gardens, or pounds which is one of the main things I liked about your house was the lovely outdoor areas. If everyone stopped modding because someone made a similar mod already then my cloak mod would never have been finished because Cloaks of Skyrim came out shortly before it, they both have cloaks so I should not have bothered... Except they are totally different from each other, they just both feature cloaks. You can not expect no one to ever make a house mod based on Redguards when they are part of the game, of course others are going to be inspired as well. I dont see why a player could not have both homes, they are in different areas after all.
  7. I type my forum/mod posts up in a word program first and then use a spell check online program to help with my spelling and grammar. I too am a product of the lovely American school systems and I came from some pretty lower "class/poor" areas for most my schooling (on top of learning disabilities, it was tons of "fun"). Just something to help you perhaps look more "professional" with your mod posts, at the very least your spelling can be pretty good.
  8. They may not seem to be needed, but that does not mean that the mod does not use them. Some modders use something called a "texture set" it is used to cut down on the amount of .nifs in a mod (and lower the size of the mod), it can not be seen by a program outside of the CK so a outside program will not be able to "see" that it is in use. My mod Winter Is Coming uses texture sets and if those "unused" textures are deleted my mod is then broken, this is why its important for you to go through your mods and decide yourself if something is in use. I notice the majority of mods I use have no unused content in their folders.
  9. Yes, this is why you should be polite to people if you offended the mod maker then you do not get their mods.
  10. Convenient horses allows you to set the weight limit for its saddle bags, so its pretty realistic that way. You can then change the saddles to whatever you want and change the weight as well if you like.
  11. Its a very comfy blanket, that is hopefully waterproof. http://www.fourwindsclothing.com/sites/default/files/products/cloak1.jpg Technically all cloaks should be able to do that in REAL LIFE, but in a game its not as easy to make it fit over every item and armor and look good when you have weapons out.
  12. Originally was what my cloaks where going to look like, but then I realized it will clip with 90% of all armors and looked silly when wielding weapons. If its made for a specific armor/clothing you can pull it off, but if you want to wear anything vanilla its not going to look good.
  13. hey nivea, im still hoping you will release something regarding clothes for skyrim, your spice of life mod for new vegas still amazes me and if one day you decide to do a skyrim version of it you whould have my eternal gratitude :D Most likely not, I have a hard time getting the weight sliders to work 100% of the time (like alot of armor/clothing modders) its very hit and miss which doubles my work time plus frustrates me because I have to start over then lol. You are much more likely to see new stuff in my Spice of Life mod, I am looking to get back into FNV in the next few weeks. ;)
  14. Because its more work and people do their stuff for free, some want to take the extra time and others dont really care if its placed and balanced in Skyrim. The good thing is however, YOU can make them yourself take your favorite mods and combine them with TESVEdit and then go through the CK and add them to level lists. Taadaaa a homemade version just for you. Or just type the work Clothes into the search bar and find exactly what your looking for: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51813/?
  15. And only about 200 to 250 textures in the 'effects' folder. I think I'll remake each-and-every one of those from scratch using Maya AE + Fume to give 100% of Skyrim's visuals great new crisp next-gen look. *LICKS*
  16. Horses can have armor ratings and stat effects, so its fully possible. You could try this mod I have not but it looks interesting: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57569/?
  17. Male companion similar to Inigo (lots of personality and talking), with a romance option for both genders/gender neutral. I know this is likely to never happen, but you did ask lol.
  18. You could take the mask from this mod and retexture it to fit your needs: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20077/?
  19. Of course you dont, you just can not emulate him by being a douche about him being banned. Was that the worst offense I have seen a modder do, no. But was it unneeded and rude yup. You dont have to like it when a modder is banned, but you do have to accept its not your call either. After all we all agreed to the same rules when we signed up on Nexus.
  20. A easy way to make ALL houses "lore friendly" by "making" you pay for them: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51313/
  21. Also depends if a modder has A.D.H.D/ or A.D.D / Ect (or any physical issues, ect), I know it slows me waaaaaay down when working on anything because I have to bounce around projects or loose my inspiration all together lol. Dont expect all of us to be able to sit for 8 hours straight working on one mod. :P
  22. Gopher is one of my top ranked and someone I look up to, he brings alot of userful mods but more then that he brings information and a good engery with him. He is not cruel or petty and seems to always try and think things through before getting heated. Alienslof as well as she inspires me with her works. schlangster, QuarnAndKivan, Arthmoor, Tumbajumba, hothtrooper44, Chesko, are all modders I look up to as well. Of course there is no greatest modder, everyone who mods is adding to the community and I dont think anyone can be given that title. I even think that Skyrim modders would not be as "great" without the modders who proived guidance and information on modding older games such as Morrowind and Oblivion, I know I would not be a good modder for any game without them.
  23. I personally only truly draw the line at anything with children when it comes to modding (and by modding I mean sexual stuff), everyone else can enjoy whatever they want with no worry of judgement from me expect with children I then will judge you from across the modder room. I had a child mod up once and got so many requests for highly inappropriate stuff for them/about them/to them that I removed the mod after the last straw of parts of it being stolen, and now I have a VERY strict policy and none of my stuff is to be used/edited for children. It truly upset and creeped me out. I still believe if it makes you unhappy or uncomfy do not do it, I dont care what kind of "peer pressure" people may throw at you (hell even pressure from yourself to just get over it). This is a hobby for fun, if its not fun for you personally then dont consider it. :) Hoamaii: I like your mods personally. ;)
