Don't blame other people for your ignorance. Mods are permitted, not supported, and require some innovative solutions to get working. You can either learn how to follow step-by-step instructions, or you can play vanilla skyrim, it's up to you.

Not necessarily true. The Greybeards hide him out of an old fear of the Akiviri dragon hunters, and the general fear and suspicion Nords have for anything Dragon. The Empire has actually been shown to be rather fond of Dragons, allowing the Temple of Akatosh to rear Dragons/Dragonlings (as seen in Daggerfall) and with Tiber Septim having actually recruited a Dragon to his cause. Hell, the imperial totem is a Dragon. So the secrecy of the Greybeards is more to do with their insular nature and total detachment from the modern world, rather than any fear of the Empire's retribution against Paarth. Hmm, I had not played daggerfall. Perhaps the empire would be nice, but the nords at least, would not. They don't even like mages :P

The graybeards wouldn't hide Paarthurnax if they thought the empire would tolerate him.

Those two mods are designed to be used together. They don't overlap much, and they overlap flawlessly where they must. I think Immersive Beds might be the issue, or realistic lighting, based on your crashing in inns. I don't see any mods that jump out as dirty or misplaced, from my personal experience, though.

Well, DCO, EMD, and SkyRe shouldn't be the issue. I could see Deadly Dragons causing the problem, since I know that it influences dragon spawns significantly, but I've not used skytest, dovahkriid, or bellyaches. Do you have SKSE? The MCM won't show up without it. Also, the MCM isn't in skyui directly, it's an option in the escape menu.
-
I use both DCO and CWO and I've never gotten a "fail" message. I doubt that it's the issue, but it might be causing another mod to spawn the fail message, due to conflicts. It probably equates to a error message, but hey, maybe the mod author knows you.

It could be the skyrim engine maxing out instead, or it may be an issue with a mod not related to load order. Boss doesn't put things in the wrong order (often), but unrecognized plugins do need to be sorted by user rules. Crashes caused by load order should have some rhyme and reason - there should a place that two mods affect, where you crash. That, or you should crash during startup.

Because it refuses to pop up when using Live Another Life until after I've chosen my start - even if I try to force start it early with the console. Instead of getting it out of the way while in a generic cell, it interrupts the 'real' starting sequence. For a few of my favorite starts, it tends to interrupt combat. Even if it only pops up once, it's annoying. Not that it's a huge deal, but I like to solve problems if and when I can. Edit: whoops, I see what you mean, meant to put this in mod talk with my other thread. I am constantly starting over, though, for testing purposes. The popup is just one more of a series of unnecessary steps that I'd rather streamline. I happen to know that it IS possible, I just don't know how, yet.

All my potato plants have been replaced with garlic plants?!

A bsa issue is possible, especially if you merged mods. -
Racemenu is waaay too far down. I run over 200 plugins and I have it almost at the top, sorted by boss.

I like all the options from all three sounds of skyrim modules, but I find the popup disruptive. I'm wondering if I can adjust the SoS series to skip the popup, and just assume that I want everything on? If you're not sure what I'm talking about: SoS has a popup asking if the player wants various sounds turned on, with yes/no options and a description of each sound.

I've been wondering if there's a way to 'save' one's settings for the MCM, when making new characters. It finally dawned on me that a mods MCM presets must be defined somewhere. Excepting hotkeys, every mod utilizing the MCM has defaults. Difficulty for Immersive Creatures, for example, starts at Adept. Convenient Horses defaults to basic auto-loot. I'm wondering how I could manually alter these presets? Doing so would expedite my character creation process noticeably. I'm just not sure where I would go looking for the default values, to change them.

There's "Staves of Skyrim" and "Skyrim Redone" for combat staves. Skyrim redone gets the staves from elsewhere, I just can't remember where, and is a much larger ovrehaul. Staves of Skyrim complicates the issue, by adding scripting and extra features, so I'd look at skyre and see where the combat staves are from. Other than that, I've linked every mod I know for armor, weapons, and magic relating to druids in that thread already. I think "armonizer" has one armor set in it (something kyne) that's really nature oriented, if you don't mind an armor compilation. edit: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25431/? that mod adds quarterstaves

Need help turning a dagger into an axe.
Nudedragon replied to warstick's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Flag all the places where it's marked as a dagger as war axe instead. I'm not sure how to do this in the CK, but you can do it in TES5Edit for sure. You just change the weapontype keyword, animation type, etc to war axe. I've not done this myself, though, I'm making a semi educated guess. -

The SRO stands for what. -
I believe that once you have a room set aside for you, there is, and until then, there is not. Also what's with this "you posted too quickly" error. Reading quickly isn't hard.

In response to post #8465113. Another day, another reason for supervillany. -
Ulfric is a Thalmor puppet, but they aren't controlling him anymore, he was just wound up to start the civil war. It's not like he's taking orders from them.

So, group behavior excuses misbehavior? Lots of people pirate games, that doesn't mean theft is ok. The dragons all had the choice to make their own path, or join Alduin in conquest of nirn, and they chose conquest. Loyalty isn't an excuse in any universe, and they didn't fear alduin that much. Paarthurnax betrayed alduin because alduin's pride became so great that he claimed to be a god, it wasn't for the mortal's sake.

For some reason, today (I think, it could have been earlier, I wasn't npc lips closely) female lips rendered very... square. Image related: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/266447//?. Today, I installed or updated I tried uninstalling them one by one to find the problem, but failed to identify the issue. Then I tried re-installing all the mods I have that might affect the skin; tairensoul layered warpaints, nude Males, nude females, racemenu, covereyes, and superior lore friendly hair, female vampires have fangs, but to no avail. Any ideas as to the cause, or a solution? Also, my shadows have been all blocky since I got the game, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a non-enb solution to the square shadows. This is separate from the above issue, thought I'd ask while I'm here!

[WIP] Thunderchild - The Tongue Experience
Nudedragon replied to EnaiSiaion's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Herma Mora needs more tentacles, books or eyeballs, but the recolors are fantastic! This sounds great. I saw one overhaul of the shout system that gave benefits and downsides to using each level of the shout, so that you didn't always use the maximum number of words you know, but the author took that mod way too far (overpowered). Been waiting on something to handle shouts in a balanced and interesting way ever since.- 132 replies

No problem, hope it helps. I haven't watched the video, but I know there are posts linking to druid mods

Neither Alternate Start or RaceMenu isn't the culprit, although I wish it were, I'd kind of like to have the clothes removed while in that menu :P

True, self preservation is not inherently evil, mass murder and the enslavement of every mortal species is! Paarthurnax was a part of the dragon's attempted genocide and enslavement plan, by choice. He then lived for thousands of years without enslaving or killing anyone: does that absolve his prior crimes? I say no.
