There was a Morrowind mod that made Jiub the Nerevarene but that could be to take it a big far. I would like an option to start with the main quest finished an a question about what side you supported in the war or if you where neutral. Add a full unrelenting force shout an place the Blades at Skyhaven we would be all set.

This would be good lorewise as well. Many of the darker mages in the game appear to have been kicked out of the collage of Winterhold or left on their own to be able to pursue the darker arts. I even strongly suspect many of start out of Winterhold after learning the basics at the collage. Orthon appear to be such a student. Saving him does not make him appear at the collage so I assume they didn't let him lin again. Many have fallen to the dark side of the arts apperantly.

Lorewise there should already be a settlement somewhere there, where snowelf holdouts lived before they where massacred by the betrayed. I find it highly unlikly they all lived in Auriels temple. Thus a player home would consist of an old building one just take over.

It have been annoyed at npc's not even attempting to rationlise a guess for custom races, I would love to have way tell the game that my custom race character look like choosen standard race. For instance temptress > nord, snowelf > altmer, drow > dunmer and so on. This wil not work for every custom race but it is resonable to belive that people would guess something based ln what they know.

Delphine are supposed to be in her mid fifites, something graphical overhauls of her apperance never fails to miss. She is NOT a young woman. I just checked on the mod you suggested and it see to be an unusual exception.

I guess it would be possible to throw in some dwemer stuff in the north eastern most corner of Valenwood, other then that they need to use something else to fill their role. If a game is set in Summerset Isle, no dwemer stuff can be used at all, with the exeption of artifacts that have been brought there for some reason. However I would suggest adding "ancient" aldmeri ruins filled with magical lost tech that modern people cannot comprehend. Instead of getting your head smashed in by a steam centurion an ancient golem could do the deed intead.

It is always hard to bring those beasts down, the trick is to get as many hits in as possible when they are on the ground. Followers also have better reactions then us and could probably help out if you get a good archer.

The first step would probably be to take away the game pause during lockpicking to get that kind of immersion.

I believe that that is exactly what they will do already if they just picked up loot on their own but they do not, most of them, so you have to give them some. There are however plenty of followers that come with gear that should last them to endgame.

You can do that with the console.

The playable elven races are of the most common ones, I am sure there are a bunch more that only get mentioned. Besides, if Tamriel had anything like our worlds modern DNA screening one would probably find traces of the "lost" races among the living. Most likely there are Eiylid genes among Cyrordils altmers and snowelf genes among the dunmer and so forth. I doubt that any of the lost races was killed of to the last, more likely, they merged with others. For all we know, there could already be some maromer living in Tamriel right now but they are then to few in number to really count in any statistic even if their presence are known. It is even possible that some small maromer minority are decendants from one of their failed invasions. Now however, those people would rather consider themself loyal to their new homeland then the one their ancesters came from.

I just stick stuff in a "Bag of holding" and deal with it later, if I remember, lot's of junk in that bag. :)

I do get annoyed at the frequent maintenence shut downs lately but I understand that is for the greater good, do without maintenece and the servers would crash completely soon enough. A napoleonic era total conversion could be fun actually.

This reminds me how, many years ago when I was DM in a homebrew RP game that I actually game the players a Jarlhold to run. However, it was a tiny one that barely produced enough taxes to pay for the handful of soldiers manning the fort it included, no surplus at all. Thus they had a base and still a reason to go out and adventure. Fun times.

"SG" are just a pair of letters, they can stand for many things. I guessed that in context that it was a short for for a game that the hairstyle in question originated from. That is was the name of a banned hair pack mod did not occur to me, in any case I suggested looking for a legal alternative rater then tracking down an illegal mod.

It felt good once I went premium, the feeling of being a freeloader dissapeared! I use mods, and I comment on mods but just do not make mods so this was my way to contribute.

I took a quick look at the popular Apachii Skyhair mod and saw several hairstyles that are similar, not the same. A more thorugh look and on Apachii and other hairmods should net you several candidates for hairstyles similar to the banned one so you should be able to create a similar apperance. Btw what do "SG" stand for? Third attempt to post, It keeps logging me out when I try to post.

I suspect Akatosh intervened somehow and allowed a new dragonborn to surface, due to a need.

For favorite? Hard to tell, what makes a body mod a sucess or not is the support it gets. especially conversion of the vanilla armours and new ones. A body mod that do not get stuff to put on it are doomed to obscurity. I recently went from UNP bbp to UNPB bbp but by doing this I am now starved for good armour/clothing, thus most stuff will need to be plain UNP anyway. Never really got the bbp to function well in UNP anyway. I have also tried CHSBHC and ADEC, and it was never me getting tired of the body that made me move on, it was access to stuff to put on, at lest stuff in according to my personal taste. There are also other bodies that interest me but that seem to have very little support. If I only wanted a nude body to look at, then there are other options then installing a new body. When I played Morrwind, the use of a body mod was pretty much required due tot the horrible apperance of the original bodies. "Smoother bodies" came, an effort to make to original bodies a bit more tolerable but then came "Better bodies", a proper body mod for both sexes, it quickly became standard to use and no other body mod really had a chance to compete with it. As a result, just about any armour or clothing where made to fit on it. Skyrim seriusly lack a "Standard body mod", and it have led to chaos!

I finally got around to install and play this mod a little, then of corse, all to early I had to go to work. This will be fun getting deeper into. The next step now is to look for modifications that goes well with an tropical enviroment. Anyone into skimpy outfits, here are your excuse, it's to hot! I noticed tha line of sight have been severly limeted now due to a green haze over everything but mostly due to vegetation. Consequetly playing a sneaky archer are now harder, maybe this is why rainforsest living people are so commmonly into using posienus arrows, just hit them a little and track them down later. The raptors that replace the wolfs remain hidden until they storm out for a suprise attack, now they are dangeroues. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I suggest using an somewhat different outcome of the Oblivion crisis as a reason why Skyrim is now hot, the whole planet tilted to place the Throat of The World on the equator. By now only some elves remember that Skyrim used to be cold but for humans this is just something in the history books. This way there would be no problem with "ancient nord ruins" all over the place, they are still there, the enviroment have shanged but the ancient history are the same. An npc skin overhaul mod to give people a more "tanned" look would fit nicely I belivie. There are so many possibilies and as such I suggest a special thread for "mods suitable for tropical skyrim", not neccesarily developed for tropical use but fitting, Mod developers could submit a link to their work and have it placed in a sticky at the top.

Thanks I found one that fixes some of the problems I got for using a too modern computer I will check out more when I eventually returns from my vacation.
