  1. If playing on survival, try not to sleep while the effect of any chem or medicine or etc is on your character. Seens this a bug of survival and who knows if this can bug radiation too :s
  2. Hah this happens. Try to only use one mod of the same thing to not have problems, or patch them if you know how to. But i'm happy that you were able to fix it :)
  3. See if this can help you: https://tesmistel.tumblr.com/post/149567999810/outfit-studio-conversion-guide
  4. Humm, let's see. The mod uses scripts, so it is tied to your save game. You'll need to remove it manually. Install the mod normally, and look at your load order for it's position there. There are two characters that indicates it's position, like 02, A1 or something like that. Fallout4 is 00, for all that matters. Start with it. Enter the game, and type in console: player.removeperk xx000f9c xx being the order of the plugin. Optionally, you can open all plugins in xEdit, and take the exact ID, like this: https://i.postimg.cc/ysRKj0jR/fadfadf.jpg Since the mod is a plugin that adds a Perk to the character, maybe removing the perk will free you of it's effects. Alternatives could be removing anything related to the mod before removing the perk: Using "player.dispel xx000f9a" and "player.dispel xx0035a0" Using "player.removespell xx000f99" * After removing Magic Effects, Spell and the perk from player, save the game, close it, uninstall the mod and open the game, do a save and test again. If it doesn't work, then you could try cleaning a custom save (make a backup of your main save) with FallrimTools. Do know that it can break some mods, but i can't exactly tell how to find the exact script in the program. Maybe you can do some search... But only load the save game AFTER you uninstalled the mod, so it can appear as an orphan script.
  5. Are you using the tape or opening the MCM menu inside the settlement? Have you read this? Is in the forum of the mod, same issue i guess? Maybe it can help? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22442/?tab=forum&topic_id=6372841
  6. I had a bit of difficult to understand what is your problem. So, your problem is only with the warning about using mods and no achievements, or is with your save game? Like crashing, or mods not loading or something like that? If it is just the warning, use this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12465 You can use CCCleaner to remove the info about CC mods too, but now let's give a step back. You are probably running your game in the lastest version. Most mods use F4SE, that is a script extender and enables lots of cool stuff, BUT bethesda is always updating the game and breaking F4SE. So everytime the game receives an update, F4SE must be updated too, and also almost all mods that use it (CCCLeaner being one of them). You also must launch the game with F4SE_Loader for it to work. Best if you do a little research on it and how to not let steam update your game automatically, or making backups of the game exe. Sorry if it is none of what you wanted to say. Please be more clear and maybe send a picture of what is happening if there is a warning or something like that.
  7. Well, it's a good learning curve to start modding... First of all, don't use two mods that do the same thing. And ALWAYS read mod description and make sure you understand what it does, how to install, compatibilities and everything. It is more worthy a few hours reading and a stable gameplay than just downloading and having headaches for the rest of your life. You only use one Unofficial patch. The first one (Unofficial Skyrim SE patch) probably should be the only one to be use. Remove all others. And you are playing on special edition... take great care when downloading mods to see if they ARE compatible with the special edition. There is one thing called master plugin. A plugin is either a esp or a esm (or esl) file, and it loads stuff into the game (your load order). Some plugins require others to run. If you don't have this required plugin, it's master, it won't launch, and the game won't get to the main menu. Think of it as master and servant... without master, the servant doesn't work. I don't know how Vortex works because i use Mod Organizer, but NMM used to show when i plugin was missing a master, so look for any red text in the plugin description to see if it is not a warning about missing mods. Yes, i'm looking at SexLab - Amorous Adventures. Mods from LoversLab usually are made requiring some masters, one of them being the very SexLab mod (i never used it, but i read a bit about, so i can be wrong...). So go back to the mod page, read the description and download what you need to make it work. Always work like this. See what a mod needs, download the requirements, install them before the mod you want, in the order it asked you to. A master will always load up above/before it's servant. The last mod being loaded is in the end of the load order (the list of plugins). And go slow, you will want to install more and more, so make a save game in some interior area, like a house, and go testing the mods you install before trying on a serious save you want to progress. -- For now, try disabling the unofficial patches leaving only the first one, and disable SexLab - Amorousetc, and the game will probably load without problems. And try using LOOT to sort your load order so you don't have many problems. It still won't be the best but i can't ask you to sort them manually right now, so LOOT will be your friend at this time. It also have useful information about missing plugins.
  8. Hum, yes, yes, of course, when using mod organizer you must load everything within it, not outside. But it usually adds the f4se executable automatically in the drop list on the side of ►Run. Click on the list and search for F4SE. If you can't find it, just go to the executables option (in the upper side, a turning right arrow), and add it. Search the exe for Binary and the main folder in Start in. This go in arguments: -forcesteamloader If you are already running F4SE with MO2, then look at the install instructions at mod page and be sure you have everything it asks for, and also to carefully read the holotape
  9. First of all, no, MO doesn't have a script extender installed. You must download F4SE yourself, copy the contents to Fallout 4 Main folder and optionally, you can install the Data folder (scripts) as a mod in Mod Organizer instead of throwing it directly to the main game foler (this is done in the chance that a mod needs to overwrite one of it's scripts, so you let MO handle it). So, be sure that you follow the instructions on the mod page, and install the needed mods. It is really difficult for a problem to be caused by MO2... I do not remember having problems caused by it, and i already use it for a long time.
  10. Visual glitches on skin should be related to texture files, so i recommend you: ○ Re-installing body/face texture mods for men. ○ Re-installing mods that affects NPCs, like UniqueNpcs, for example. There is a chance that your files got corrupted when downloading, or by your Mod Manager, either by downloading or installing. So sometimes it is worthy to download it all again just to be sure. Once i had a glitch like this, but instead of black, it was a lot of small colored squares, that would appear the closer i got to NPCs, but i was in the process of upscaling the files to 2K and just had to re-do the process, so it was an issue on my own end.
  11. Well, once you get some rads, you can only get them away by using radaway or going to a doctor, save for some other food that may do it too. But i don't know what half of your mods do, for example, so it is difficult to say anything. Aren't you, by chance, using itens that remove radiation and are not aware? Looks like you have a few mods that change how Survival works, so maybe there's something in it. Rad Resist shouldn't interfere with it. Have you tried a new save already? Maybe you installed and then uninstalled a mod and your save is now bugged?
  12. I don't know how Fusion Girl differs from CBBE, but in CBBE, it uses a different file for the neck that is femalebhed, in the actors/character/basehumanfemale folder. None of the mods you listed, except from FG, will cause this issue. You should try a reinstall of FG, see if you don't have any incompatibilities with it or check your body textures. Try to clean things and leave only FG to see if the problem is gone.
  13. Humm, being in ESC for a while means you leave the computer for a while too? Does the screen goes black too (normal computer behavior, screen sleep or something like that, i'm sorry, i don't know how it is called)? Here, if i'm away for a time and the screen "sleeps", when i move my mouse for it to turn back, the resolution bugs and the game goes beyond my screen, needing an exit and restart. Maybe this is related to how engine and videocard operates? Maybe the GPU and RAM unloads game files from memory, hence why you have missing textures and crashes. Are you running your game in FullScreen or Borderless/Fake Fullscreen? In Falout4prefs.ini, these lines: bBorderless= bFull Screen= Maybe running the game on borderless and not dedicated Full Screen *can* cause an issue? See, all i'm saying is a shot in the dark and a question i am doing to myself, that would need testing to see if they are related or not. I'm sorry for not really helping.
  14. I don't know how Vortex works, but to be sure that things are working or not, you should try: ○ Uninstall and delete the mod from the manager completely. Close it, restart computer. Download the mod again, install again. NMM was plagued with download/install issues and, well, who knows if any of this is happening with Vortex too. ○ Start a new game and see if the game works then. ○ If stuff doesn't work in a new or old game, even after doing what i said in the first ○, then you might want to disable everything and test a game with only a few mods for it to work, and see if it works (MCM and this mod). ○ If it doesn't work... well, there's something wrong with either your manager, your installation or everything together. Remember that problems can be things we don't expect, like corrupted files or files not installed properly, conflicts between mods or conflict in load order, corrupt main game (sometimes it is worthy to delete inis in My games/Fallout4, check the files with Steam and open the launcher without F4SE. Then, run BethIni or keep a backup of your old inis to add any important change you made before).
  15. Nice to see another community event going on, though i'm not reliable to create funny things... A free key of choice is a great gift from GoG. I hope this event can go on nice and easy like the last one, so good luck to everyone!
  16. What is interesting about such event is exactly all the multiple different ways one single image can be viewed, all the different opinions about the same thing. Congratulations to everyone! We all shared our own vision of Conflict and Struggle and this is what matters, that we all could use our imagination to bring a theme to life in our own way. All the best to all of you!

I was trying to understand what happened and also tell you that there was no problem at all, and everything that matters is that you submitted the link. I talk too much! Most times, less is more! My bad!
  18. In response to post #69101401. I suppose you entered your information and a link to the screenshot you uploaded here to Nexus, right? You say you uploaded 3 FO4 images, and you could only submit one, so i think you are talking about the images you uploaded here on Nexus images, right? And if you are saying that you can't see them, maybe it is because you didn't upload them in the event category at first, but to the usual categories (aesthetic etc). If it is so, there is no problem at all. They created the event category and there was no info about it (as far as i remember), so not everyone knew there was a specific cateegory for it. What is important in question of prize is that you submitted your screenshot, not the category it is in. Maybe now it would be interesting, in a new event, to create the category and link it so everyone would know where to upload the images specific for the event. *edit: i see here, your screenshots are all in the "Misc" category.
  19. Oh it already ended? I was going to pick one of my shots from Skyrim i have here to enter in the event but forgot to do so.... and i am not playing it right now, so it is fine for me. Congrats to everyone involved and it was a really nice idea, i hope to see more contests, with or without prizes (and if so, a random prize is the best option, even if it is a copy of a random game or something like this). Being picky with the rules and separating people is not a good choice and i am glad you went the 'fair' way. Nothing will ever be perfect, as we are dealing with people, but i guess everything went as smooth as it could, even with some adversities. Thanks and, well, good luck everyone! :)

Oh if i had posted my tips here instead of a screenshot in the images we could have kinda worked together with the tips lol We think the same way about this topic!! It is impossible to really say what is good or not, what is right or not. We can only judge if the person used some technique or not. And with this, we can help with these tips! I also LOVE to take screenshots while i'm playing, from what is happening at the time. Even my contribution to the event was taken while i was playing, I had to set the scenario to take it, but the idea just came to my mind right in the moment i was giving the quest :) Thanks for this, i learned a new command too, "sisme 0" is another thing i will surely try to remember since sometimes i hit tfc 1 just when i'm hit and the screen gets all blurried...

But there are also problems and questions that need to be addressed to avoid disappointment." Sadly, as there will always be, almost everywhere. In my opinion, separating beginners from skilled ones is the real problem. I'm even avoiding the prizes, i'm seeing it more as a reunion party with a bingo. If you win it, good, if not, what was important was your presence.

Thank you, it was very obvious :p Yes, the discussion scalated to something else, and it is very simple indeed. Adding post shot edition or not won't affect the results of the event, so no need to worry. You must apply a lot of rules and define who can participate or not when some definetely have a disadvantage or can't compete with others, when one being more able have better chances of winning. Since it is not the case here, there's no problem. I know, i don't like it and also don't think it a part of these modifications is "right", but i don't think this changes the event at all

You should change your point of view to this contest, my friend. Imagine that we do have a race, with some Formula 1 cars, some NASCAR or whatever, and even some casual cars. They are all starting from the same place, and the F1 cars reach the end of the line in seconds, the racing cars get amazing curves and the casual cars are there just riding in the road. But the question is, there is no final line/deadline (i don't know the right word), no time counter. The cars are all there to just ride together in the event, not to make a competition between them. People will gather around the beautiful NASCAR cars or comment about how fast were the F1 ones, but in the end, all of them can be winners, and they all participated together in the same terms. They all, no matter how much their car was good, fast or beautiful, stood together at the end of the event and all of them got excited together to know who was the winner. Before it, they all could see the cars everyone came in, and talk about, appreciate or not, but that was just this. A friendly reunion. That's what this is about, not people getting advantage over others because they can attract more attention to what they made. Endorsements doesn't matter for this contest.
  24. In response to post #68753116. This event is much more an event for people to participate than an event made for only people with good computers and good artistic skills. A note on this, is that every single screenshot event anywhere will, we want it or not, have preferences for skilled authors. So they will never be friendly to new participants unless you rule it down to not allow these skilled people to participate. Sadly :( This is because most new users, instead of seeing this as a chance to participate of the community, feel afraid of posting their shots as if they are not "good enough". There is no such thing. I myself don't like most images that i see that have editions on the lighting and composition (let's be clear, we're talking about artistic changes, not crop or conversion), so it is all a question of point of view. I am only commenting here, because i see that what was first the idea of this contest - the first Nexus community event, which will even give prizes, is changing to something else. They don't want people to really make a competition between them to see who is better, instead, the rules are clear, they want everyone to join and send their screenshots. The prizes will be given randomly. So this is absolutely the contrary, it is not something to scare away the beginners, but instead to let them come and upload their creations because everyone have the same chance. They having 2 prizes that will be amongst selected screenshots is to encourage people to try their best, not just upload any crap just to participate. So in my vision this is a very friendly event, and it is sad that you refuse to participate because of what you thought about the event. Image endorsements are not really the focus of this event, they don't mean anything at all. The most endorsed images may be selected or not for the 15 who will have better chances of winning. All that is left is to trust that the judges will be fair and not pick only what they think is good and ignore others just because they don't have an ENB. for example. The theme is clear, and the pictures must pass the theme to the viewer, that's all i think is fair.

Wow, this really got more serious than i could expect. I do agree with arguments from both sides. I don't like this kind of edited image that become digital work instead of screenshot, screenshot being what you have after you press the button. It is my personal preference, i defend that you should do screenshots for you first of all. Do what you like and what you think is a good image. As for this, it doesn't matter if the person runs a vanilla game or a highly modded game and later make a composition with the screenshot. Both of them are creating the art they like, and i think this is what is important. Of course most will give more attention to the modified one, but there are some that will also like the unmoded, vanilla screenshot, if it can show you something interesting. And also, different people like different things, and that's great! I think lowering the discussion to "what is an edited screenshot" is not healthy and will not lead us anywhere. I use ICE to make panoramic screenshots, and i like it, and it is a modification in one way. That's why this discussion is irrelevant and one must be able to understand all sides of the discussion to go along with it. I think the rules are very clear. In the competitive side of this event, since 15 will be selected from all, even the prize being random, i see that this may be the problem to some. People that don't have good technique or good graphics will feel like this kind of event is not for them, and it will be always like this unless you're in a vanilla-only group. I was adm of 2 facebook groups and i used to run some contests to choose a shot for the banner image. I always encouraged people to participate, we never had much participants, but one time one image with very simple graphics won. It showed what the theme wanted, and i was really happy because of that. I like to have good graphics, but i still think that screenshots, and even art in general, should be as Excellentium wonderfully put: or the eyes, heart and the mind. If you like what you did, and you're proud of it, it doesn't matter what others think about it. You can use imagination to make your shots stand out if you want to call attention when in a competitive area. Even me being not a fan of it, some may want to edit their shots for it, that's valid. Sadly, and i really think it is sad, some people who can't afford good graphics will be ashamed to even try. This is where i can say that this kind of event restricts people, and it is not intentionally. Fyrcynn, we can do our best the way we know how to do it, and respect others if they have a different way of doing it. I can absolutely understand your rant, but think of this as a opportunity to participate in the first screenshot event from Nexus, not that some have "privileges". It will always be like this, the world is like this and life isn't fair. Actually, thinking of this, i started writing some tips to screenshot. I know there are some guides around, but i wanted to put in there all i know about, and to help people who can't even run an ENB to have some tools to use for screenarchery. A good ENB can make difference, but graphics and lighting is not everything when you want to pass an idea to the viewer. When you want to shoot something that have a theme, you want the viewer to be able to know the theme just by looking at your image. *edit: Question: Can i upload a pic to the event cathegory with the tips but not use it for the event itself? Linking it to the form, i mean. Of course it is about the event, though.
