  1. Humm well, i'll try to point some things to you here. One thing first: Since you are starting now, i would really recommend you trying Vortex or Mod Organizer. I never used Vortex but people like it and seens to be good... Personally i am using MO for a long time and it pays up the time for learning how it works, because it doesn't touch the Main Game folders in any way, so it is much clear to know what you're doing and etc. But to your questions: 1 - Please, don't do it. It will work now, and for some time, but at some point, you won't know what anything is from anymore, and problems will start to appear. Leftovers from mod installations have been cursing players for years because of bad install or faulty managers. Now, no problems, but after some time, you'll be wondering why X mod is not working as it should, why X texture is not showing, etc. A manager will remember what it installed and uninstall it properly. You probably won't. Of course you can do it, but you're on your own, almost no one will be able to fully help you later. Some things to note: A file installed in the Data folder will be read by the game. If a mod have "Loose" files, it means they are not packed in a ba2 file (like the vanilla files). Loose files will ALWAYS be read and will overwrite anything packed in a ba2. So if you have a mod you installed manually that replaces a newer mod packed in a ba2, you'll never know, because files are lost inside the folders. That's why it is wise to know exactly what you have and a safe way to uninstall them if needed. 2 - The list of plugin, also called Load Order, is really important and you are doing REALLY GOOD CONGRATS FRIEND for reading descriptions and trying to put thing were they should be. Some info that may help: What loads first, will always be overwritten by what loads after. That's why FO4 and DLCs are always on the top. The last loaded plugin, the one in the bottom of the list, will win any conflicts. There is no way to know what is the perfect load order, but by knowing which mods should load after others, this helps. Plugins can be esm, esp and esl. ESM are master files, locked to load BEFORE all the others. That's why FO4, dlcs and some mods have this extension, because they shoulod load before others. If you try to move a esm after a esp, it won't let you do it. Or vice versa. Esps won't enter the "VIP" area of the esms. It's special. ESP are the normal plugin files. ESL files were introduced as light files. They are loaded just after esm and before esp. Why they are different from esm or esp? You can only have 255 plugins active in your load order. More than that and the game won't load the plugins as it should, and errors will appear. So Beth created the light files that won't count up to 255 anymore, and can coexist with esp and esm. Note that with xEdit you can flag a esp as esm or esl, so some strange things can appear like a esp in the esm area, or someone telling you that it's plugin is a esl but the extension is esp. Another important thing to remember is that there is a concept of Master and servant plugins. When a plugin is made with a dependancy on another, it will now have a Master, be it a esm or esp. Without it's master, the plugin won't load, and the plugin must always load AFTER it's master. You can easily see this on the mod managers when looking at the plugin information. This will usually lock where they can move in the load order too. Going back now to your question, mods does not need to be in a specific place in the load order. A hundred will say "load it at the top". So, how to know which one to load ? Doing what you did, reading. Understanding what the mod do is essential. If both mods only adds new things to the game and do not touch any vanilla files, or if they do different things, then it doesn't matter at all. When in doubt, ALWAYS put the one you want to win any conflict below the others, unless description says otherwise (which in most cases it won't have any info about the mods you use). I'm not sure why you have SKE first place (i never used it), but it would load before all other mods that deals with settlements, so yeah, SKE after the Unofficial patch is ok. Homemaker could go anywhere in the esm area, as far as i can tell. Master Plan is used as a Master for other plugins only, so loading it near the top would be the idea. The extensions of homemaker are not to be loaded EXACTLY after homemaker. Like 5, 6, 7. You only need to load them after mods that change something that they do. If you have none, their order doesn't matter, in some way. Vanilla Extensions is the same case. As far as it is after Master Plan, the order also doesn't matter. And as i already said, it can happen because it is a esp and Master Plan is esm, so they will never really be together. Now what becomes something that you could already start learning, is to deal with conflicts. Just by reading description you can tell if some mods change same things, but to be sure, you would need to check... Download xEdit, watch some videos about basics of it, like what colors mean. You'll want to open it after you managed your load order, and open all mods in there and look if some have conflicts. If they have, you just load the one you find most important AFTER or near the bottom. It will always warn about missing master too. xEdit is a good friend of anyone who is modding the game. After you learn how to create patches things just get better, but you are just starting, so no need to rush. Just remember you can know what is the conflict between mods by checking them with it. There is also a tool called LOOT that can help... in some way. For small and simple load orders, it is ok, but once it start to get complex, the best way is manage it yourself. But you can download and run it to see how it manages for you. May be interesting. I don't know what some mods you have do, so i can't really tell if the order is good or not. I usually group things to make it easier to find and manage, but the best case is having an idea of what everything do so you can manage it better. Some plugins, like Vivid Fallout, are only to load a ba2 (ba2 can only be loaded by the game if a plugin loads them), and have nothing inside, so their order doesn't matter unless another mod also have a ba2 with same files packed... So you can load it low to be sure. But you won't have other conflicts aside from textures. Well, whole lot of text that may be usefull or not, there's much more to say, some things we forget, but if you have any questions, send me a pm (because forum doesn't give me any notification), so if i know how to help, i'll be glad to do it. Good luck :)
  2. Do you mean "loose files" instead of standalone? Because Standalone are files that do not replace vanilla files, and this can be anything, from an outfit to a quest mod, so either you are using the wrong word or i don't understand what you're talking about. If you are talking about Loose files x Packed files (ba2), then the awsner can be a bit complicated. Some people may say that not everything should be packed, but in my personal experience, packing textures do give the game a good improvement. One of the major examples are the Real HD Face mod, which i uploaded ba2 files for it because loose files were giving a lot of stutter in the game for some people. (there is a bit of talk about it and a guide aobut how to create a ba2 on the page). I also packed almost all of the loose textures that replace vanilla and it all works nice for me, also the ba2 is much smaller in size than the loose files. If you ARE talking about standalone... then it is your choice, nothing about performance. If a clothing mod have replacer x standalone, it is your choice if you don't want vanilla anymore or want the new clothes + vanilla. Nothing more to eb said about it. IF what you wanted to say have NOTHING to do with what i said here, then sorry, but please explain it better so i can know what you are talking about.
  4. Wait, you can't see the wattman on the game tab? You should be using the exact same version as i use here, and i have easy access to it. https://www.amd.com/pt/support/graphics/amd-radeon-r9-series/amd-radeon-r9-200-series/amd-radeon-r9-270x Win10 64, right? Download the 5.2 or 8.1, it shouldn't really matter, i have 7.2 here right now. Open the Game tab, then open Fallout 4, and in the top there is a Wattman tab. It must have, because this is the same driver i use. Is your Win 10 full updated? Have you checked the windows update tab to see if you have everything? Are you using a basic win10 version? Are you really sure you have deleted the old drivers from your computer? After uninstalling with AMD software, restart the pc and manual delete folders from amd from your computer to be sure, or try to find a driver cleaner, i'm pretty sure there are good free ones to wipe away old stuff. Then, install the lastest one and see again if you can find the tab or have any more problems. Again and always again, FO4 specific problem, so after being sure you do have the Wattman tab and are using the lastest AMD drivers and only it, we must still know why only FO4 have this issue...
  5. You said that you took everything related to mod out, but did you clean the Data folder too? I'm talking about deleting/removing the meshes folder, since animations go there. Aside from that, i can't say, since you already did most things that should be done to test. Have you already tried checking files with steam? On a test, you can try deleting Fallout4 - Animations.ba2 from Data folder, and let steam download it again. Maybe even try unpacking it and installing Actor/Characters/Animations/ as loose files, to test. Which mod manager do you use? It is easy to fix such things with MO, since you never touch vanilla files. But anyway, looks strange but 3rd person with weapon out is not that good anyway.
  6. The problem being specific to FO4 is what is strange. If the drivers were the culprit, at least another heavy game should show, but even vanilla FO4? :/ Sadly everyone have a different computer and different things can cause issues... AMD drivers work well for me and i am using the lastest ones. But yes, it would be interesting to try different drivers. If the upgrade to win10 was not clean, a fresh install, then sadly this can also cause some problems. A fresh win10 install should be fine. But again, we narrow it down to FO4 being the only troublesome game... I would still point to a clean install of it, deleting all the folders from the game. My games, Appdata and the main install folder, especially the Data folder, and also disable the cloud system from steam to not download anything else that should not be there. With a clean and fresh install, then we could claim that the drivers are really the culprit? So many tests to be done... :(
  7. Yeah, taking a look again at everything is a good way to find issues. I left NMM for good a long time ago and switched to Mod Organizer, since it is a lot more easier to control what is running and what is not. Leftovers from old installs and stuff like that are a danger to the game. Hope you solved the issue?
  8. Strange, to say the least. I really like win10 and FO4 runs here without much problems, but i have a BIG load order and i don't even know how it should play without mods... but generally speaking, it is fine for me. Memory shouldn't be an issue, since the problem happens without mods, and the main game shouldn't reach more than 6gb, but win10 uses a lot more memory. Have you heard of EmptyStandByList? Maybe this can help you someway. I don't know which fixes you tried, i use an almost vanilla ini with some changes only, but rely on AMD and ENB to some fixes. Maybe take a look at what i use in Radeon Settings that is good for me here, second sticky. I found out that the new Enhanced Sync with FreeSync enabled helped me a lot, along with enabling AMD mosaic to 64x. My games feels a lot more smooth now. I have the iPresentInterval (aka vertical sync) from the main game disabled, also AA and Anisotropic, and use them from AMD. Also try disabling Anti-Lag. In ENBlocal, ApplyStabilityPatch=true and ForceVideoMemorySize= may make difference for you, who knows. Play with these and see results: ForceVideoMemorySize=True or False VideoMemorySizeMb= 2048 Your setup is not the best but i think, should load the main game without problems. You can even try something like Optimized Vanilla Textures to improve the game load, and test a new game without mods to see if helps. You can also try deleting the stuff on Users/your user/appdata/local/fallout4, and also your ini files and all other inis from your My computer/My games/Fallout4 folder (make backups, please). Then load the launcher, let it create new inis, run the game without F4SE for a while, and... test. See how it works for you. We are in the dark here, but we can't know how to solve without trying.
  9. Have you tried a new game? Have you tried to disable load accelerator and run the game without such things, only capping the fps with ENB/AMD? ENB caps the fps as it should, AMD does not cap it very well (at least for me), and i get high fps when loading and absurd fps on the main menu, so i cap it with ENB. Just in case, in enblocal: [LIMITER] EnableFPSLimit=true FPSLimit=60.0 Also, if you use ENB, do you have ApplyStabilityPatch=true and set this ForceVideoMemorySize=true and VideoMemorySizeMb= to your computer? It is not even a question of hardware, engine can be buggy by itself and cause problems. The less things you have running at the same time of the game, the better. (have you heard about emptystandbylist ?) (you could also look at what i think is good for Radeon settings here, second sticky) About load order... it's difficult to say anything about it. Bunch of names i don't know what they are or what they do, how do they interact with the game or how they could conflict. If you are sure it is not software/hardware/engine problem, and think it is related to mods, then you must really try it on a new save first, same setup. If the problem keeps occuring, then you know it is because of something you have, and a good way to test would be disabling esps and keep testing, but since it happens randomly, it could cost you a day and no success... Are you sure you should be using all those VATST and FunctionalDisplays plugins? Also, 3 Homemaker - Streetlights Use Passive Power, and AndStayBack and AndStayBackRedux... be sure you need all of these, if you don't have 2 mods that do the same thing, or anything that comes to yourt mind that could conflict, any mod that spawns things or have scripts to check player/NPC status or things like that...
  10. I don't think games should look worse after downgrading, but anyway, 16.11? Mine is at 19.7.2 now, have you tried downloading the driver from AMD site, then uninstalling completely the old drivers first, and only then installing the new one? I mean, i think we both use the same driver, i also have a r9, so i don't know why you have a so old version. Do not update with the AMD software, always download from their site and install it yourself. See if cleaning your pc of old drivers solves the problem. Clean it all and install a fresh one. I almost always do this when i need to update my drivers.
  11. It is always a great idea to create the perfect game, but "we" doesn't work for this, since "realistic" will differ from person to person. You could list mods and ideas that you think that are realistic, and then people can suggest mods for you, so you can build your "perfect" setup. Sadly, it is never perfect anyway, since some things can always be added, and some things are not that cool over time... If this can serve as something to you, here is my modwatch (for reference only, since i have a big patch i made for the mods i use, i'm always looking at the esps for conflicts and also i joined textures into ba2 and deleted some or merged other mods in a folder, etc): https://modwat.ch/u/Di3sIrae/plugins For example, i merged recoil from Immersive Fallout with records from another mod and i'm using the movement changes, nothing else. I like the game to be hard and cruel, so PIRAD, BLD, Agony and such mods are always on my modlist. For me, they are realistic in some way, but most important, they make my game fun to be played and i think that this is what matters most. Good luck anyway! :)
  13. If you don't know stuff about Outfit Studio, then you could try separating the breasts (width i guess), using a bit of cleavage and bringing them together with the nipple option... Not really a good fix but at least it will not look so bad in game
  14. I know what you're talking about, and i would say it is not because of the ENB preset, because i use Improved and Expanded Everything and i also have the same issue. Well... it doesn't happen all the time, so i mostly always forget about it. I usually see this happen when it is snowing (the very bright screen), or sometimes the colors just "fade", in clear days. Same thing, just in a specific position, walking away (wither with character or tfc) makes it go back to normal, for the bright screen. The faded colors sometimes happen at random when i'm in TFC and only going back makes it turn to normal again. Not something so tragic for me but it would be good to find a fix. I am up to date with ENB but i've seen this happen through versions... so i don't know. Would need to play a bit without ENB to see it by chance. VolumetricLightingetc... is already 0 here, and ComputerShaderetc... was a fix for something alike this problem but with darkening. I may try it later with 0 to see if there is any visual change to the game (also, it happened with ultrawide screens, not my case)
  15. NP, i hate when i mess up with the save and have to start all over again... I usually try to fix until there's no hope anymore xD
  16. Take a look at this: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40246 Cleavage always bugged me too in the few times i had to deal with it, but this author did it in a different way, maybe you can learn something from it or ask for help
  17. Make a backup of the save, then use fallrimtools and test, just to see if removing an orphan script can do the trick. You can try the tedious task of looking at each script and trying to find the right one, if it works...
  18. Uh, that's why i love Mod Organizer. Does it still play in a new game? If so, then the mod is still active somehow. If not, have you tried everything i told you to do? (removespell and dispell and cleaning the save with Fallrim Tools)
  19. First of all, missing or wrong textures will make things go purple. Body/face can become glitchy by adding black or colored little squares as you move closer. Meshe problem will probably cause an instant crash (from my previous experience with Skyrim), or just not load at all, being invisible. When something appears at some angles, and not at others, you are having problem with Pre combines. I don't know what america rising does but the mod you should be moving to the end of your load order in this case should be BTint_Optimization, as it changes pre combines. A humble suggestion would be to disable this esp and install Boston FPS Fix. Mods that change how the world looks like, not by adding stuff but by changing, will always conflict with other mods that do the same and will cause this issue. I am using Boston FPS Fix at the bottom of my load order with some mods for trees and the only mod that gave me some problems with Pre Combines that i wasn't able to patch or fix was South of the Sea. Great mod, btw.
  20. First of all, you do not really need to separate saves if you don't want to, there is an option in the profile to not use profile specific inis or save files. Check if the mods that are missing when you try to load a save are really active in this profile. Plugins and mods. You need to make sure the right mods are activated to load it. So, if all saves appear: Check the option in the profiles if they have specific saves or not. If they have, check if you didn't copy the old saves to the new profile. If they don't have specif saves, they will read the saves in My Games folder, so maybe there is some confusion in this part? (copied save files to profile and other profiles are reading the old saves from My Games). Save saying that mods are not being loaded: really check the mods listed in the error and if you have them in mod organizer and active in the profile. Humm i don't know if i am being of much help with this.
  21. It crashes EVERY time you die? See, i also have a big modlist with lots of mods and etc, and it is not always, but sometimes after dying my game crashes, or if i die, die and die, after each reload it seens that the game starts running worse than before. After a crash or closing the game, starting again makes it smooth another time. This is not a reply to help, but maybe this is a engine issue. Overloaded engine issue, i mean. Not related (probably): Have you used LOOT to manage your load order? Are you sure you should be using all Live Dismemberment esps?
  22. haha no problem, that's why i even said about installing the scripts/data folder in MO as a mod. Great that it is working now, enjoy :D
  23. Do you still have the old version? You could try extracting it so you can see what exactly id adds. If there were no esp, then it must have been a replacer for the hit sound of weapons, that might still be in your Data folder. This is the only way you can still be listening to this, since without scripts you won't have something that is not in the vanilla game.
  24. Adding to what LordMinio said, check if there is no custom ini with it activated (check inside MO, not in the folder, in the Ini Editor). Sometimes it get written in the Custom and not in the normal ones. Also, always check your GPU software. One time it decided to lock the fps of a game and i even sent a ticket to support before realising it was just Radeon acting strange.
  25. Humm strange that a CC mod was your problem... It shouldn't be. Maybe a conflict of some sort? i'm really sorry that i could not really understand the problem, and don't worry about english, i just felt that i was missing something. At least you found out what was causing issues... still it's strange.
