Wait, I have two questions Do you actually play like this most of the time? Not sure if it's a rendering thing or whatnot, but if your GPU is actually playing 5 fps................ Well, you probably don't play like this most of the time lol. Does this happen with other games? Try it with other games. Try it with other intensive things. Flash games, etc. etc. How old is your GPU? That can cause problems. How hot does it get? Does it run hot enough to melt metal? Is your computer clogged with dust, etc? Try googling some GPU testing stuff/benchmarking. Any should do, I have no idea which ones might be good, of course. And of course, drivers, drivers, drivers. And updates.

Yes, maybe a script issue. Do you have savegame script cleaner? If not, look it up and download it, use it. Use the Delete # and orphaned scripts, just those two. Not sure what reset havok does. The program comes with instructions anyways, I think.

Aside from what he said above, list us all your relevant mods, just in case. And also, list us every mod that you installed recently (recently enough to have caused this CTD) by date. (NMM allows you to sort by installation date) Hopefully you have non-modified installation dates that are accurate. Or basically, I really just mean tell us what kinds of mods could have caused this. But otherwise, I would highly expect verifying integrity to fix your problem.

Is there, or can there be a mod that changes the way NPC's use the frost spell? I mean, when NPC's like... skeletons and draugrs let's say use the frost spell up close, does it ever piss you off, the way that they cast the spell? They hold their hands up high like they're dangling something to mock you with, and their whole hand fills up 1/3 of your screen since they can practically slap you- AND they never seem to EVER run out of mana either. If you turned on tgm they'd probably be continuously casting from the time you go to school and come back. It makes me want to turn on tgm or markfordelete them.

I think we're all over-reacting a bit. All we need to do is do what we did the day before, the day before that, and the day before the day before that. Not use the steam workshop. Over my whole experience in Skyrim, I've installed maybe 3-4 Steam Workshop mods. All we need to do is ignore this and move on, and nothing will happen. Thoughts?

EASY SOLUTION: STOP USING STEAM WORKSHOP

No, no, guys, I mean... is it just me that gets one-shot? I mean this is just wrong. If I'm wearing mage robes because I have to for the magic, if one ice spell or fireball hits me I die. At least... make it so that I only have to hit someone ELSE once or twice... I swear there was a mod back then that made the game hard like Dark souls, but at least it would be fair since you wouldn't have to create a giant macrocyclonic firestorm by spamming 40-70 fireballs and make your whole screen turn into an HD fire screensaver trying to kill a forsworn next to you.

I have light armor.... but I CAN'T STOP GETTING ONE-SHOT BY ARCHERS.... And of course sword bandits. And I'm a bit of a mage character, so I can't really spend that much into health. Can someone tell me if it's just my situation? Here are my stats... 200 Magicka 170 HP 170 Stamina (Yeah, I know... wayyy too much, but then again, I'm a spellsword so I have to) At level 26.... 68 destruction 32 block 56 one-handed 61 archery 33 light armor And I get one-shot..................... I'm starting to get mad. And yes, I play on master.

There's nothing better than paying modders for their work... However, this is just Bethesda milking the Skyrim cash cow.. I honestly don't know if this has EVER been attempted before. I hope this fails, because it's BETHESDA's attempt.

I'm sorry, but did you reinstall the game, starting clean? I'm confused. Because of course, we should start with the fact that a clean game with no mods should be 100% safe. But anyhow, even if you reinstalled skyrim, it wouldn't make a difference because it's not like a file was missing or corrupted, it's your mod conflicts. Can you try uninstalling: Climates of tamriel Remove everything related to COT, including the audio mod, and the compatability patch needed for SOS. And Supreme storms COT. Those are the only possible issues I can tell, since I have no idea what some of the other ones do. But if you haven't, briefly read the mod description pages over and check for separate requirements, notifications about upgrading, etc. So, start a new save (download alternate start live a new life if you want a shorter intro) and see if it CTD's in-game, and not at the main menu. And also, do I understand correctly that when you deactivated EVERY mod from the NMM menu that your game still CTD'd at the main menu? As an aside, COT is a highly risky mod that conflicts with a ton of things. If you can find an alternative that's acceptable, you should. And a papyrus log is helpful. You can look up how to enable papyrus logs, and find them in your saves folder. And as long as it's not too long, post it directly here.

When I fight anything, from vampires to bandits, if a single piece of flame hits an NPC, after the bandits are dead, I'm next..... Is there a mod that can at least add three-hit aggression for NPC's which is true for guards? (After you're thane... I guess) Or ANY mod that does SOMETHING like this?

What about converting an Oblivion Samus zero suit for Skyrim? The odd thing is, that there isn't a single one for Skyrim. At least not to the best of my abilities to find one.

Can someone please explain exactly WHAT enb's do? I can see they change the lighting and hues and stuff, but well, also, why are they apparently so performance intensive? If I can JUST run skyrim on medium are ENB's for me? I see there are some "performance" enb's, but are those ENB's really just CPU and GPU hogs that suck like 4 or 5 times the cpu power of RLO?

I personally think it's a good idea... if it hasn't been done yet. Or if there's any other encumberance mod like it.

Sorry, this seems like the best place to put this. NMM seems to have a serious issue with uninstalling mods. I have NO, not a single body mod installed. FNIS says I have no skeleton, yet when I start a completely new game, not only do I have BBP animations, but I have FNIS. No yellow underwear at all. A skeleton is totally required for BBP, yet I'm not CTDing. What is going on............. ._. I can't even find a UNp plugin that's active, or even listed............ Is this a bug? Should I report it there?
