I'm happy either way so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide. :) @Nam Yeah, I thought so...

Is the server back up then? [EDIT]Nope. Also, I've been thinking: perhaps we should set up a remote back up script to limit damage in case anything like this ever happens again. If we can access the server files via FTP, writing a simple back up script shouldn't be too hard.

Yay! I will be immortalized! ;D

And have him use his influence to push his personal political agenda? :P Just kidding. I thought everyone was allowed to set up a shop if they wanted, though.

:whistling: No worries, if we go with this system it will only apply to land in the city. Everything outside is up for grabs - there's plenty of land to go around in a world potentially 8 petabytes big. ;) I'm really liking the sound of all this. Where can I sign up for the city counsel? :P Well what are you good at? Are you an amazing miner? Are you an an amazing builder? Um... I guess I could do economy or city expansion. :P

Use ArgoIsAwesome for a seed. Generates a nice little plateau IIRC and it nourishes my ego. :P

That would require an admin to change the permissions every time land is sold. It's possible, but there'd be a delay because you'd have to wait for an admin to come on. We could just leave protection off and rely on decency. If someone does build on land that isn't his, we bulldoze it. :P @anton In that case, I should totally help build the city :P [EDIT]City counsel doesn't sound bad.

A system for distributing plots in the city isn't a bad idea IMO. Adds another use for the currency and should provide an extra challenge, but it would have course only apply to land within the city.

Sounds good to me. Be sure to make the outline big enough, last time we ran out of space within the walls pretty quickly. :)

Is it too soon to call dibs on his stuff? :P On second thought, most of it was spawned so we're probably better off destroying it.

It's also before I built my villa and the bank... But I guess we have little choice, eh? ;) I wish I'd been around, maybe I could've done something before it got out of hand. I have to say I'm surprised about both Queenston's response and that of the people online, but what is done is done - we should leave this behind us and try to repair the damage as much as possible.

I don't even own a 360, so I'll be sticking to good ol' Minecraft. CC, it may be a good idea to put up some more cob and wood signs, your stock ran out pretty quickly.

Until the mod gets updated to support more than 64 items a time. :)

It's not perfect, but I like having a decent way to trade. And inflation is fun! [EDIT]Ugh, minecraft.net is down again.

Nice, Ethre. The economy mod should make things more interesting.

Crimsonedge, I accidentally dug into your mine, so if you see a corridor that wasn't there before, it was me. :P

Haha, love it, Spyro! :P

I just finished my contemporary villa in the town. Takes ages if you're keeping the cheating to a minimum, but the result feels so much more rewarding.
-
Iron seems to have become more common, but that could just be me.
-
I promised myself I wouldn't cheat this time, let's see how long I'll last. :P I make one exception though: in order to make anything you need tons and tons of redstone - too much to collect by hand.
-
Yeah, co-op is definitely the way to go in Magicka. Killing your friend with a lightning bolt never gets old. :P

I've got a couple of stacks from my mining shaft laying around. Where do I put them? :)

Did you become a Mod Maker or a Collector?

Both. Though I don't do much of either these days...
