I'm just a little confused, so I thought I'd got some clarification before I begin modding.
I'm thinking about starting a project that would have a scripted music score in it, primarily made up of tracks by Two Steps From Hell, but I noticed the other day that a nexus user (faders111) got banned for uploading music from them without obtaining permission. So I figured that my idea was bust, but happened to go on the TSFH website and under FAQS, it says as long as we're not making a profit off our actions (such as using it to advertise something you'd have to buy), and give them full credit, their permission to use is given.
So I guess I should ask, is my idea still bust, or am I okay as long as I give them credits on the page for each track I use?
I think it's a pretty solid idea, but you have to document and show on your description page your permissions.
I don't believe the person who was banned showed any such permissions, and it is not the staff's responsibility to do the uploaders' homework for them. You are required to show permission for your uploaded assets. If this is not done, you've taken your chances.

That doesn't happen consistently does it? It seems an attempt was made to open the file in an editor rather than save it. It has happened to me before.
Were you downloading manually, or with NMM?

You can save it into your Skyrim Data folder and then enable it before you run Skryrim, like any esp plugin.

So you must change the form ID as well as the name; I would suggest something like SquadNinja1 (so that you can add more successively).

You can simply install Adblock Plus and Ghostery on your browser and rest easy, if it bothers you that much.

Why don't you make it yourself? That's how to keep it alive. Download the creation kit and start asking questions.
