Kaprinde won't work on SE, unless you want to manually port over her mod + the Oblivion Hair Pack yourself. From what I've seen, most of the few Altmer follower mods that were in LE haven't been ported over yet, so it's slim pickin's. So your choices are: use one of the fugly altmer women from the game, compromise and find one of the few mods that have been ported over, or find an LE mod that you really like and port it over yourself; there are plenty of guides out there if you want to try, although how easy it is can vary wildly, depending on how the follower was put together in the first place.

Try LoversLab, they have all the weird, sex-stuff there. If you can't find any eye-candy here, you haven't been looking.

You need to switch to Mod Organizer 2. The original is no longer compatible with Nexus' API.

Install ENBoost and set up your enblocal.ini. Make sure skse is up to date. Look at installing a SweetFx preset or ICEBINE, both tend to be performance friendly. You can install texture mods, just so long as they are 1K or less in texture size, and you don't get carried away.

Can you be more specific as to what is actually wrong?

JFC, I guess nobody reads the comments. Go to the EFF page, go to files, and d/l the Extensible Follower Framework v3-5-6 - NO BSA - LOOSE FILES to get XFLMain Also, the Patches section for RDO includes a patch for both, make sure you are installing the correct one.

Skyrim SE screen borders flash red bug
saurusmaximus replied to Assassin202's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Has this been happening from the start or did it suddenly pop up? Start a new game and see if the problem persists. If it still there, disable all of your mods and do the same thing again. If that does work, it is a mod and you'll have to start narrowing it down from there; if not, try reverifying your cache with Steam. If the problem goes away when you start a new game, it's likely you have a glitch in your save game; not much you can do about that, other than try a save-game script cleaner. -
Go into your graphic card settings and make sure all of the things like AA, AO, TXAA, etc are turned off.

Do any of those mods add NPC's to the Cornerclub? If so, try disabling those mods and see if it works.

What if there was a Skyrim mod for real life?
saurusmaximus replied to MrMerv85's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Wow, 221 pages worth. Didn't take it seriously indeed  -
Are you sure all of the mods you reinstalled are up to date? The sneaking thing almost sounds like it could be coming from iHud. Your favorites menu is driven by SkyUI. So I would start with those two, along with making sure you have SKSE installed correctly.

Sigh...from the Saraan Suum mod page: And then you said.. See the problem?

Do you have the DLC for Skyrim (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn)? If you don't, I'm not sure if you can get just the Unoffical Skyrim Patch anymore. You might have to do some googling to find it. I know he switched to just the Legendary patch - which requires all of the DLC - because the majority of players already had them and he didn't want to curate multiple files anymore. Do you still have the mods folder for your original NMM install? Uninstalling NMM doesn't necessarily remove it, unless you tell the installer to do so. If so, you can just install the file from there.

How can I alter a mod's parameters?
saurusmaximus replied to Metalconquer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Start with Tes5Edit and see if you can change the levels that way; you should be able to. If not, you will have to fire up the Creation Kit. There are plenty of good tutorials out there if you don't know how to use them. -
Can't d/l the file. Just post a pic inline with the message.

You need to figure out what the item is that has the red triangle, then look at your load order and see which mod is modifying that record.

Unfortunately for you, Skyrim isn't optimized for mulit-core processors, so single-core performance is more relevant here. Make sure you have the memory edits in SKSE Set up ENBoost if you haven't already. Note you may have to use the Injector version to get it to work with your SLI setup. I've never run an SLI setup myself, but I've read here that many folks have had better performance running Skyrim with SLI disabled; strictly an anecdotal observation, but I thought I'd mention it.

Just so I'm clear: -No mods installed, the game starts and runs fine. -If you enable even one of those mods listed, no matter which one, the game won't start. Assuming the above is correct: -Is SKSE properly installed? Are you using the most up to date SSE version and not the version for LE? -Make sure your ini files are set correctly. I recommend Bethini, it takes a lot of the guesswork out of the process.

Usually this happens when one of your mods is missing a master. First thing then is read the mod descriptions to ensure you are meeting all of the requirements for them to work. After that, disable everything but Skyrim and the DLC, then try enabling your new mods, one at a time, and see if the game will start. If it still won't go after that, post your load order and we'll take a closer look.

This is likely the cause of your problems. Removing mods mid-save is a definite no-no. You might be able to preserve your savegame if you re-install the correct mod that started this in the first place, but I would say your save is probably a goner at this point.

"(BSStream Error) Skin has stripped partition."?
saurusmaximus replied to Katanza's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It sounds like the mod author either uploaded the wrong file, or a corrupted one. If you know anything about Nifskope, you can try resolving it yourself, otherwise I'd message the author and see if they can fix it. -
My guess is the problem is coming from the fact you have both the Bijin and Pandorable NPC mods installed, and they are conflicting. Go into your left pane, look at those mods, right click on each one, and see what the conflicts are. Then you will have to decide which you would rather use.
