  1. Is it this way with other games? Then perhaps it is your monitor calibration, if not are you using an ENB? or a sweetFX injector?
  2. First off I would clean your mods using tes5edit http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? Follow the description carefully and you will get the hang of it in no time. Your description is a tad unclear, yet I do have a suggestion, when standing in front of the wall, save and then reload that save. Once the game has reloaded you should absorb the workd, this tip can work with a few other instances where scripts fail to fire. Hope this helps, but seriously clean your mods no harm can come of it
  3. Good stuff! just don't defrag!!!!! remember these words, I am an almost OCD defragger...so if youre like me you gotta break the habit, its almost like driving a petrol car for years, you buy yourself a diesel car one day and fill it up with petrol. (this has happened to me too, although it was a friends car)
  4. That can happen quite a lot....Sometimes if skyrim bugs out, exiting to your desktop and reloading can fix things up. Glad you got it sorted.
  5. You're using all three water enhancement mods? Not sure if it will fix your ctd I doubt it, but It will be a good idea to use only one..unless theyre just in your log and are actually deactivated, but I cant tell. I would also mess around and get those mods at the bottom above your bashed patch. Move them around logically to where you think they might fit in your load order.
  6. O.O WooT what kind of mods do you have sir.... lol mines is only 26GBs I'm afraid XD Oh yea my mistake 26 gigs here as well I forgot Im using MO and there are a lot of unused mods in there too......
  7. If you've activated the dialogue tab out and save your game....on the reload of that save game does the menu appear?
  8. Yeah damn, my skyrim folder with mods included is 32 GB...and thats with heavilly compressed textures on all my mods without compression maybe 38 GB.
  9. Woaah thats horrific! There is a file on the lunari race mod page, a fix for invisible faces. Give that a try, I know it says for armor and jewelry mods but perhaps it will work. Alternatively I would suggest disabling apachii hair and see if the problem is still there.
  10. You need to run BOSS, http://boss-developers.github.io/ Download it and let it do its thing with your load order and then post a log of that. A lot of those mods I don't recognize, and could easily be causing your CTD. Also what are your computer specifications? Do you use a 64 bit version of windows? If you do you will need to get Enboost, it generally single handedly reduced memory related crashes.
  11. When you start playing frostfall will guide you through what its doing. And climates of tamriel is as simple as installing nothing to learn about it, and it compliments frostall so well. Just remember you have to get Skyrim script extender. since you have skyui I'm assuming youve already got it up and running? Anyways, having frostfall and all the above mentioned mods are things I would say should/could have been implemeted in Skyrim from the start anyway so give them a go on this playthrough. Any other mods youre not quite familiar with that change the gameplay dramatically I would only use on your next playthough, also Realistic needs and diseases is also great! I cant stand looking at food in skyrim and not having a use for it, as well as sleeping. RND just implement human survival in a seamless way, nothing completely game changing either. Just natural. Be sure to read the descriptions thoroughly of every single mod you ever download from now until forever, will save you a lot of headaches in the future.
  12. At the risk of being snapped at could I suggest something. I'm only trying to help. Why not use some other textures? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/? <----SG textures Then just get CBBE if you're not into that it's fine not all the woman have to have huge boobs. You can customize it. There are many other textures out there for eyes, lips, brows etc. Which in effect will give you the same enhancement you're looking for. I'm not familiar with Xenius character stuff but aren't they a little old? With SG textures there are no seams whatsoever and they look great. Just give it a try but I do recommend mod organizer for you, especially for textures. so that you never have to run into this problem again.
  13. Good start. Tell me, are you into hardcore immersion type mods? There are quite a few personally that I think are essential to anyone looking for immersion. Also if you have a good rig I would look into http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/607/? Thats a great HD texture replacer. There are many others, but if youre going to get carried away by texture mods and youre that type of player, then I would highly recommend getting to grips with Mod Organizer, for the simple fact that you never have to overwrite textures. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/? <------Mod Organizer The immersion mods http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11163/? <-----Frostfall http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26228/? <-----Realistic Needs & Diseases http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27563 <-----Wet & Cold http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/? <-----Climates Of Tamriel (Weather) These few are great for a start you can build your mod list around them, once you think you like those definately visit http://www.skyrimgems.com/ to get others, 90% of those mods are absolutely brilliant and mods that make it there are generally considered the best of the best. I wish I was you right now, just starting out....the unknown don't rush through skyrim, when its over its kinda over. You will wish you were here where you are now.
  14. Computer specs? not concerned about the laptops only the computer.... And you say you don't think it's about mods, if youre using any it could be, post your mod load order as well. Usually an instant ctd is mod related.
  15. I had this same problem with the deathhound smoke coming from my groin. I also tried the suggested methods from around the internet and in the sticky on in this forum, unfortunately only way for me to get rid of it was to revert to an earlier save. Using the correct form for deletion of the effect did nothing.
  16. google? http://boss-developers.github.io/ You had to literally type two words.....Skyrim BOSS, its the first hit
  17. Oh well if its 50 then I should be ok, seems like a lot anyway Man these limits really suck...I haven't had a ctd in weeks with 250 mods and now I have to risk merging (not sure if there are harmful side effects, but I'm assuming doing anything other than just having a mod in your directory will) in order to push skyrim before I get a ctd again. So I can back off a bit.
  18. Uh, yeah im on 250 mods and hesitant to add any more until I am comfortable with merging. but there are about 6 merged in my bashed patch and the disabled .esp's are still hanging around in my data tab.... so, does this mean skyrim is not registering some mods to compensate for the limit and I don't even know about it? Is there a way to tell....if someone can clear this up it would be most usefull.
  19. Ok, thanks OP even I learned something from this and i've been using Skyui forever. I guess I just never needed to search for anything :/
  20. Not that I personally know of, but there are a few things that could help you. First of when you've opened your journal and you hover over a quest, you can press M (or whatever you have the map hotkey defined to) and it will automatically take you to the quest location. Handy for when you have 100 quests active at any time. Second you should try http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4929/? If you have not already, this is a must have mod and will clear up all that nasty fog. and give you roads. Hope this helps somewhat.
  21. So.......Its your right to have fast servers? I didn't know these sort of rights existed.
  22. Hi, I don't use skyre but I can bet you that is just a limitation. You see, there is more text to add to the standard text box and without a way to scroll down it all needs to fit, so the obvious step will be to make the text smaller. Are any of the other text from skyre about one sentence long? if so they are probably standard size I'm guessing?
  23. Nah this happened to me too, just go to the next quest marker she should be there.
  24. Haha yes no diea why, it fixed itself right up though.
  25. Oh I get attacked as well, I thought it was because I had a few deadric weapons in my inventory. I guess ill leave it though because technically they should be attacking me they have the right to....
