If you are having trouble finding the space core, go and wander around the tower where you fight your first dragon. You should notice him crashing down while screaming SPAAACE!! once you get close enough to a specific area.

Just start the steam client, select "skyrim" from your library, and you should see a link to the workshop where you can download it. If you use the steam client you should already be logged in long before you select the "subscribe" button.

They would have had to work forever on their patches if they were supposed to also take all the thousands of mods available in account. I will have to go on Bethesda with this one.
-
Then update the game? Might solve the problems with your other mods as well. Some mods simply wont work in older game versions. Also, you never told us what your skyrim installation patch is set to in the mod manager. Its hard to give you any specific advice without that.

I am new to DA and even more so to modding
amycus replied to JodaNajt's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
Hi and congratulations for finally getting the game  When you want to install a mod you need the mod's .dazip file. Some mod downloads give you this directly, or they give you a .rar or .zip file that you need to unrar in order to get the .dazip (to unrar a file you need a software like winrar or 7-zip. 7-zip can in fact be downloaded right here on the nexus: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579 ). Once you have the .dazip, you can install it by using a mod manager like DAModder (http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=286 - my personal choice). Just start DAModder up, and drag and drop the .dazip file there. DAModder will do the installation for you. Done, now the mod is installed to your game. NOTE: Remember to always read the mod descriptions of everything you download. Some requires other mods to be installed first or similar, in order to run properly. -
As long as you can run the main game, with or without mods, you shouldnt need to worry about the video card. Only thing some mods might do is to give a performance hit if you install some high resolution texture mods for example (which means that the game will run slower), or crash in worst case if there is a mod conflict. As for the script extender, if you look in the description of skyUI you will see that the script extender is a requirement for that mod to run properly. As for your mods still not showing up, whats your skyrim installation patch set to in the NMM? (open the nexus mod manager, clcik "settings", and click the "skyrim" tab in the pop-up window. Then look in the 3rd row that says "skyrim directory", and copy paste the path here (should be something like C:/program etc)

Neverwinter Nights complete (both games and all expansions) available
amycus replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
The mac version of NWN2 is now on sale on gamersgate, 94% off: http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-NWN2M/neverwinter-nights-2-mac Doesnt have the expansions included though -
After you download the mod with the mod manager you also need to activate it. This is to allow you the freedom of simply deactivating a mod whenever you want without having to uninstall it, if you just want it removed temporarily. So after you have downloaded a mod with the nexus mod manager, look in the tab "mods" (in the nexus mod manager), select the mod you wish to activat, and press the blue puzzle piece to the right that says "activates the selected mod". Only then will the mod actually be loaded into the game.
-
That doesnt give us much to go on. You will at the very least need to describe the installation process you have tried so far.

It has been stated before that other languages are acceptable, but only if you put some kind of translation in English of your text as well. So, just remember to use google translate to post an english version of your original post when you write something on the forums. In either case, welcome to the forums.

Morph: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3013#fileanchor or http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1942 Armor: Either http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3304 or my own (shameless advertising :P ), http://dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2706 . Personally I think that my own "mesh" is closer to the trailer, but unfortunately the current textures still look slightly "washed off". So as it is right now I will admit myself that the first link gives you an armor that currently looks better. (that being said, I was under the impression that the OP was just looking for the current best mods for what he/she was looking for, not requesting a new mod to be made?)

EDIT: Sorry, posted in the wrong topic...

Making a female qunari in DA:O
amycus replied to amycus's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Builder Troubleshooting
@edriano, if you just want sten with horns, it would be a lot easier to simply port the whole DA2 qunari heads to DA:O. Of course, there is the problem with the helmets fitting when they have horns, unless you dont mind them clipping, or magically dissappear when they wear a helmet. And just to point out, the old pic on the female qunari I'm working on here in this thread had horns that I simply copy pasted from the DA2 male qunaris because I originally toyed with a similar idea to yours abouth flemeth's "hairstyle". Problem is, it would look like the horns were glued on or something. If you look on the arishok above, his horns are partly covered by skin. I wish to achieve the same effect which is why I remade the horns as a part of the facial mesh. I will put a new preview pic to show you exactly what I mean once I get better and have more time. -
Making a female qunari in DA:O
amycus replied to amycus's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Builder Troubleshooting
progress has been slow. parlty because of my current cold, and partly my work on Kirkwall exports. What I have done since the last time is making her chin seem less pointy, made the horns part of the skull, and finally the UW map (I removed the triangles and replaced them with squares since I thought it made it a lot easier to work with. The old UW map was oblviously destroyed in that process though, which is why I made a new one). So what I have left is essantially this: Texture it, export it, and figure out how to add any NPCs at all into a scene with the toolset :P -
Wait, are you serious? I have a hard time believing they would do that. Anyone who can confirm this? I suppose its good news if the multiplayer is fun, but I still dont like the feeling of being forced into playing the multiplayer in order to get the complete single-player experience.

I assume you mean something like this? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?&app=forums&module=extras§ion=legends&do=bbcode Works in both forum posts and in the mod descriptions.

Looks like its time to reinstall NWN again :)

According to http://www.walawalagames.com/, there is currently a sale on mass effect 3 at greenmangaming right now: Personally I will wait a little bit with my purchase and hope that they will either A)Drop the Origins requirement, or B)change the "terms of use" for Origin - they would need to do a large amount of changes though...

So far it actually works better than the "real" sites, before I had an odd bug on chrome where all the links dissappeared as soon as the advertisements loaded. Will see if I can't find some other hidden bugs though. ;)

I Need texture and normal map Uruk-hai commander
amycus replied to duckwolf's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
You might still wish to upload it, otherwise it is still hard to help you  You can export it as an .obj file and upload it on a site like mediafire, and then post the download link here. Alternatively, you can upload a render of the UW map in .png format (if you have already done the UW). It might be hard to make the white hand painting on it look good if we cant make smaller adjustments to the UW ourselves though. -
Really? Which button to assign to what? Maybe I'm missing some thing but probably any other f***ing button on the mouse or keyboard would work. A combination of any ctrl/alt/shift click would work fine or make it easily customizable for the player to decide. Even holding down BOTH mouse buttons would be very practical and familiar to most people. Use the controller? Hold both triggers to fire an enchanted staff with default melee controls. This idea has a lot of potential. +1 Well, simply using another keyboard button could work, but it is essantially going back to the old Oblivion usage of magic. So sure its possible, but it would suffer of the same problem that was in oblivion (where you could use a spell by pressing the "C" key, and using a weapon didnt change how that worked): Using spells primarly would feel really clunky. That was at least why all my oblivion characters only used magic as support. Its also the same reason to why they didnt let you block while dual wielding swords. Simply hard to get the controls to work in a comfertable way. That being said, might be an idea (like you said) to make you either block or use a melee atack while holding down both mousebuttons.
-
I think the largest problem with that would be how to configure the controls. Even if you do it so that left mousebutton shoots a spell and the right blocks, what should be the button for melee attack? Not bashing the idea itself, but I think it needs to be properly thought out beforehand if it is going to work.

I'm pretty sure you already know this, but I will state it just in case so you are not missing out: TUTU is a mod that lets you play BG1 in the BG2 engine. So you can play BG1 in a much higher resolution than before. Personally I think that Planescape had the best graphics of all the infinity games. Unfortunately it also had much less VOICED dialogue in comparison to BG. I usually dont care if a game has 100% of the dialogue with voice overs, but a little does help the pace of the game. Sigh, why are games like these so rare nowadays? (and its not me just being nostalgic, I actually only played BG after the release of DA:O (when I noticed that my computer back then couldnt run the game, I looked in the past of Biowares history, and played KOTOR, NWN, jade empire, and finally BG).
-
The NWNvault always was hard to navigate. I'm still playing NWN and NWN2 to this day, so I would support this. Its too bad that there were never too many new modules released for DA:O, but it was likely because of the lack of enemies (bandits, darkspawn,, animals and demons. Thats it.), as well as the toolset being harder to learn.
