Are you using mod(s) that increase the amount of enemies spawning? It might be zombified AI, because there is simply too much going on at once and it's taking your system a minute to catch up.

I got tired of playing Fallout 3 with only 1 of my cores running so I switched to the 1.0.0.15 patch for the multi core support. If I create a mod with this patch active, will it cause problems for users of the mod that have a more recent patch? Most of my mods are follower/companion type mods, if that helps.

Make your character a different race than everyone else. (It can be a copy of one of the vanilla races.) Edit: Bad answer I just woke up. You'd also have to change where the new race pulls it's body models and textures from. Still it would only take a few minutes if you have the right knowledge. Also, if you were already mid-game you'd have to use the console to switch to the new race.

I would uninstall all mods and see if the game starts up. It probably will. If it does, then add one .esp start the game up. Add one .esp start it up. Repeat until it crashes.

Could you explain what's wrong & a loadorder might help as well It's something they broke in one of the patches. It's nothing to do with your game. However, it can be fixed. You need to make the companion warp to a new cell and then back to where they were shortly after their 3D loads. I did it on my Marilyn and Sanchita companions. It seems to work pretty well. It's a homer simpson sort of fix same sort of thing they did for the Double face bug in oblivion I think.

I second this request. I miss the hairy textures that I use on oblivion.(I think Nachritter made them.) I've never been fond of the clean shaven thing. It seems to have become the norm over recent years though :( I keep trying to make the FO3 exnem textures more hirsuite, but I just lack the talent and it always ends up looking half-arsed.

I've been more or less gone a while, and I want to say that the new rating system is awesome! Also, thanks for getting rid of Warthug. Yay for not being made nauseous by his rude self important posts anymore.
