he wouldn't have to do anything just kill the dragon and all the flesh burns away on its own just like it does with every dragon you kill

Your memorable nonquest/nonscripted stories
MightyZ0G replied to thesapien's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
just after I got my new 5.1 headphones I was exploring a dungeon and thought "wow! Lydia's footsteps sound amazing. it seems like she takes lots of little steps really quickly" then I turned round to look at her and she was nowhere to be seen (she'd got stuck on something several rooms back) but there was a huge frostbite spider creeping up on me" not a huge problem to deal with but the shock to my nerves was funny -
same happened to me. I used the console to advance through the quest player.setstage DA04 41 through to player.setstage DA04 45 then went back to Septimus and the quest continued as normal I figured that I had killed plenty of elves throughout the game to collect the blood if the game was working properly

try this

that could be caused by having too many shadow casting lights the maximum you can have casting shadows on a surface without any glitching is 4.

as I said before, check out the Mount and Blade demo on steam to see a different take on how melee and mounted combat can be implemented. everything from bare fists through swords, axes, maces, spears, lances, bows, crossbows, javelins and even throwing stones. most weapons can be used on horseback except for 2 handed weapons and crossbows. Bethesda really need to license that combat engine for the next Elder Scrolls game.

I'm running on a tweaked ultra setting (higher draw distances for everything) and I have limited the fps to 45 and I get that most of the time with occasional drops to 30. I did have it set to 60fps but the drops were more noticeable and slightly more frequent. skyrim.ini skyrimprefs.ini veryhigh.ini specs: AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2GHz 4GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 1.5GB Win7 x64

that strobing on the wall is caused by the shadows from sunlight being updated and changing position. there are a few things you can do to improve shadows but you will never get them perfect. one thing you can do is start the game launcher and, in the advanced options, set shadows to medium and start the game, save and quit then open your Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini and set iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 and save it then open your Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SkyrimPrefs.ini and set iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=4096 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 and iShadowMapResolution=4096 and save it. then start the game normally and your shadows will look smoother

I use the bride-gold version of Henry's Ring of Light as the light isn't too harsh and the different view distances it is easy to get the one that suits your play style and ENB settings to only illuminates just enough of the dungeon for you to find your way around

open up the Magic > Shout menu and you should see the number of absorbed dragon souls at the bottom right of the screen. highlight the shout that you have learned and then press the key/button to activate it (this is shown at the bottom left of the screen)

you could find the faction code for the Khajiit caravans and add your character to it using the console then just tag along with them as they wander from city to city
-
it is possible and pretty easy check out Skyrim Enthusiast Graphics and follow the guide to optimise the ini files to suit your PC.

go to IOBit and get the free versions of advanced system care and game booster -
before totally giving up on skyrim, try game booster and advanced system care from IOBit (the free versions are good enough) run ASC to optimise your system with a couple of mouse clicks then use game booster to shut down all non essential processes to free up as much as you can to get the most from skyrim

it isn't about making mods to get kudos or anything like that. modders play a game and think that something is missing or should be changed and have a go at doing it. when they find that what they have done improves the game in some way they put it up on sites like Nexus for others to try out and see if they like it. modders owe the community nothing except a "you're welcome" when someone says "thank you". modders don't have to grow a thick skin and put up with dickheads demanding stuff or being impatient or just not reading the instructions. modders are, by their nature, creative and if that means that when people start acting like dicks the modder acts like a diva then it is us, the people who are getting stuff for free that have to put up with it

caliente body mod: breast size question
MightyZ0G replied to Palandiell's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
did you download the Caliente Female Body Mod BBE v3-1 (the top file listed) or Caliente Female Body Mod BBE v3-1 for NMM Install (2nd file in the list of downloads)? the top file doesn't have the FOMOD files needed for the mod manager to select the options you want during install -
not Skyrim specificr but a good performance booster for most games is Game Booster it is also worth taking a look at Advanced System Care while you are on the IOBit site ;)
-
if you are using an ENB mod or FXAA injector you will need to remove the files that were added by that (this will help) then for a different graphics enhancer use something like Realistic Lighting With Customization by Pluto here is a copy of my tweaked skyrim.ini and my skyrimprefs.ini that I use with realistic lighting and W.A.T.E.R to get results like this

especially as games like Mount and Blade or Two Worlds have mounted combat and M&B has a very dynamic combat system which would fit in so well with the TES setting
