LE Smithing With Different Armor Textures
huntsman2310 replied to LordSarcasm's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
So you're asking essentially that instead of having just one type of heavy armour available for each material type (Orcish, Daedric, Ebony, Stell and so on), you want them to have different variants or designs? Kind of like how the Steel armor and Steel Plate are designed. -
Would this differentiate between the gender of aformentioned Vampire Lord?
-
It's probably because they're so... boring ... compared to other parts of clothing. And plus they are kind of hard to realistically model inside a modelling program, I know every attempt I've done appear way too fat or narrow.
-
You'll need to ask permission from the author before uploading it though. You can use it for yourself with no trouble.

LE Dwemer Auto-Crossbow and crossbow with bayonets!
huntsman2310 replied to hltvpro's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I suppose you can get around the clipping problems involved, if the ammo was stored in a cylinder held on the back, connected to the mechanism by a rigid belt. That wouldn't require much mesh work. -
Looks great mate! I use your mod all the time in FNV. Sadly, my town in the dry lake near Boulder City was overrrun by ants. I hope to repeat the experience!

LE I wont Clouths for vampire lord and warewolf
huntsman2310 replied to themetal901's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
YES MORE. -
It can be done, all someone need to do is separate the mesh into different pieces of gear (helm, cuirass, pauldron, greaves, shinguards, bracers, gauntlets and whatever), than they would just need to assign them to different bodyslots in the creation kit. Easy peasy.

LE Weapons sheathed/Weapons on back ONLY FOR A SPECIFIC NPC
huntsman2310 replied to livemix's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I think it's fairly simple to do. You just make sure that you change the weapon placement for that specific NPC and no one else. -
[LE] How To Replace Armor?
huntsman2310 replied to Durrkman's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Also you'll need to change the first person model as well, and don't forget to make a new texture set for the armor. -
I could whip something using Nifskope. Unfortunately I'm currently busy with school right now, so I wouldn't hold your breath.
-
I like the first one the best. It's simple and actually would look like something the guild master would wear.

Editing the color on an armor mod?
huntsman2310 replied to PastaTapestry's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
GIMP is a good program, a lot of people use it or Photoshop to edit armour files. Here's a link to it's homepage. GIMP I've only messed around a bit with doing a retexture of some amour from FNV, but it's fairly easy to grasp the basics for doing so. My suggestion is to have both armour files open at the same time in the program, and use the color dropper tool to get the tone and accent you want from the chest armour, and apply it to the shin guards. Again, I've only barely grasped the basics myself, so if anyone else has a suggestion, I'm all ears. And well, this guy will be too. Oh, and making a new armor set is completely allowed man! If you want to edit the actual mesh (the physical shape), than all you need is Blender. Right Here. Althought this has to be said: If you've decided to make your new armor set from the base of someone else's work, you won't be able to upload it due to copyright issues. You can use it for yourself, just not for others. Hope this stuff helps man, and welcome to the Nexus! -
Is anyone playing Dawnguard WITHOUT bugs/ crashing?
huntsman2310 replied to kevkiev's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yes. It plays quite nicely, no bugs in sight. Then again that's how Skyrim has always been for me. -
So heres the start of my Wyvern...
huntsman2310 replied to huntsman2310's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yeah possibly. Some time in the future I might add in a incredibly old slitherer type who's all wise and knows Paarthurnax. I'm using the Slitherer as an example because they are, shape and skill wise, more similar to Imugi than western dragons. -

huntsman2310 replied to huntsman2310's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'm not sure yet. I've only planned so far as putting them in-game as a way to make fighting more unique than just clobbering dragons all day. After that I'm not certain what I want to do with them. Of course I'll be starting up again at the end of august or so. I need to get reaquainted with blender 2.49b. -

huntsman2310 replied to huntsman2310's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Sounds pretty awesome. I mean it'll take some skill with scripting to pull off with the later stages of the quest, but I think I can make the two caves and the drake whelp itself easily. -

huntsman2310 replied to huntsman2310's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well... I'm open to the idea. I've kind of thought about making a few caves for slitherers to make their homes in. Dark, windy and claustrophobic mazes where the thing can get the drop on you from direction. Hang on... *looks at sig*, tundr... YES. But back on track what was your idea about that quest? -

huntsman2310 replied to huntsman2310's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I'd like to see me make a drake mount as well, because the dragonborn needs a scaly horse thing that can breath fire. It'd be sweet. Yeah but I've only really made the models for them essentially, I'm waiting until nif scripts become available for the latest blender, which will cut down the workload immensely for what I need to do. I'll probably be starting up work on my babies when Dawnguard rolls around for PC. And don't worry about the Velociraptor, my models are WIPs until I'm completely satisfied with them. -
Hopefully not. It wouldn't be interesting to have him as the big bad again. He's not that smart, he's not very good at planning, and he just isn't that interesting enough to be a recurring villain for the elder scrolls series. Say if the next game was set in Elsweyr, I'd want the big bad to be a insanely powerful general of the warrior tribe who thinks he's the promised Mane.

That is one fancy ass Techno-magickal contraption! The Tonal Architect himself should be jealous!

Doesn't matter to me, it's a cool name. Besides the name was already debated over and resolved pages ago. Basically the four legged guys are now Drakes, the ones without legs, arms or wings will be called Slitherers. -
Dragonrend is a shout that was designed to kill dragons. The only reason it doesn't kill them in-game is most likely because it's only a short burst of the effect. Dragons can't specifically die from any kind of weapons or magic. Their physical shell gets destroyed and that's about it. Only the Dragonborn can actually completely destroy a dragon by absorbing it's soul, which is why they fear him so much.
