Ok the sims not the others mentioned. But here is what I have to ask, are those pieces that you have to pay money for are they on the disk or some sort of micro downloadable content? I do know I have heard of a couple games that have a premium items shop which modders create new models and textures then sell via the shop. So could this be what Sims have done? As for Day 1 DLC out of all the DLC they put out on day 1 the only one that was pay for was the From Ashes DLC for ME3 (though I got that for free via the Collectors edition) .

Last time I played Battlefield 3 I don't remember seeing pay to win, it was play to play, as most of the guns are side grades and easy to obtain just from playing. I had all the guns by the end of my second week. If your talking about the short cuts that didn't come in till months later after most player already had the guns unlocked. If your talking the DLCs when have you not payed for a map pack that add anything cool to it, either some intresting weapons or new vehicles that only apply to those maps. As for Mass Effect 3 it so easy to get gear there and paying for those packs are pretty much saying "I toss money in a fire just to watch it burn." I honestly don't think it could even be called pay to win. I do understand a lot of Korean MMOs are that way and are an utter pain in the rear. So I can see why people complain there.

Actually Ubisoft has gone on record that they will be dropping the Always online DRM requirement on all future games do to issues brought up by legit game owners.

As Renn has pointed out this isn't the place for it but that can be fixed by an admin. As Darth Falcon has pointed out FWE does what your looking for an I do believe there is one other mod on nexus that does that, but can't recall the name. Fallout: New Vegas got hardcore mode due to these mods in the first place.

Seananners does minecraft but he seems to do a lot of Counter Strike mods (Trouble in Terrorist Town) and Hidden another mod for the Source engine.

Well what does everything think of this coming January 25th unite behind a leader thing that SOE came up with. The Terrian Republics Leader is Totalbiscuit , New Conglomerate's leader is SeaNanners, and Vanu Sovereignty has Toby Turner aka Tobuscus. I know its an attempt to draw more people to the game but why oh why did the VS get Tobuscus.

Yea DVS was on Thebe in beta, and when they came across AT which is the outfit I am in they got totally stomped, one of their platoons vs 2 squads of us and they lost everything. Likely the reason they went to Waterson cause they knew all the major TR and VS outfits were headed there.

As for all rockets from Aircraft their getting a 50% nerf to their inner blast range taking them from 3m to 1.5m so they will have to hit you nearly dead on to get the rockets to kill infantry quick.

Well it isn't the first game to get that far into development only to be canceled. SOE's "The Agency" after nearly 9 years of development and untold millions into the project and the game going into a beta stage where bug fixes and balance changes remained it was terminated and all fund and team members to remain with the company were transfered to Planetside 2 and Everquest 3.

Yes, but that was not the point. When it comes to game play a level 1 player can still easily drop a level 100 player, the level 100 player likely has more toys to play with. In fact I played the other day with a new character and I dropped in on a new character and ended up ripped though 5 level 15+ and 2 level 30+ before going down.

Not more certs just a 10-50% XP gain rate for being a subbed, and if you buy a xp boost that is additional 50%. At the moment I am Level 20 and I still whoop up on people who are level 30+ because those certs don't upgrade you all that much.

As for battlefield 3 it depends on the Maps, the best vanilla Conquest maps for 64 player are Caspian Border, Operation Firestorm, Kharg Island, and Tehran Highway (Honorable Mention); on a side note Grand Bazaar and Seines Crossing are large scale urban maps that have a mix of infantry and armor. Most of the best maps come from the expansion packs Back to Karkand, and Armored Kill, Aftermath lands in December so waiting on seeing how those look. But if you want epic large Scale battles try Planetside 2 which supports up to 2k total players per continent and currently there are three continents open with a fourth on the way late December early January. Current map sizes are 8km*8km which is 4km*4km larger then the largest battlefield 3 map, Bandar Desert (Armored Kill DLC).

Playing on Matterson sever and you can easily get more then 50 certs in a day; what it comes down to is were and when you fight. Example was battling at Tumas last night and got 76 certs from the Hour I was there, ended the night with 200 certs.

For me C&C 2 Tiberian Sun was the best of the series, C&C 3 Tiberium war was good but not close to what C&C 2 was.

Well C&C Generals 2 was renamed to Command & Conquer from what I hear and it only got its single player campaign due to the fan outrage. As for Joe Kucan seems done with Kane.

Never hear of this before, your best off trying to update the drivers for your video card. If that doesn't work have origin check out your install incase there is any download errors.

Was checking out a few place on the web and it seems Bethesda is scouting out Boston Mass. for the next Fallout game. As someone claiming to be an employ of MIT has stated that Bethesda members were there getting information on the lay of the land recently. So we could be seeing a story revolving around the institute this time around.

The Demo only had a lot of units removed like the Heavy/Battle Cruiser or Destroyers. However, you don't control a massive empire as its an rts game not a 4x. Complex on the other hand really expands out on it by adding new research, and ships which will likely alter game play for a lot of people. Yea expect 6 hours on some of the medium maps. Though the largest map made which had 255 systems with 255 planets/(points of intrest) in each system never actually finished. Sins is effectively a 4x Lite game, though enjoyable I do wish more had gone into it. Now if you just looking for something along the lines of RTS Homeword and Homeworld 2 are quite good. Homeworld 2 is pretty old by gaming standards and is pretty fun but I think that game is really brought out by the total conversion Homeworld 2 Complex (current build version 8.2.3) by bringing in some of the 4x element making some games last up to 3 hours. Though these games do start off slow the battles get larger and more epic later in the game.
