Non game related image upload?

Recommended Posts

Not currently. Every image share is tied to a game and generally we require every image uploaded to be at least somewhat gaming focused.

May I ask what sort of image you were thinking about uploading that wouldn't belong with a game?

I was gifted the mods which once belonged to Black Swan. The image is of the transfer of ownership and copyright. In an effort to preempt any "stolen property" accusations, I was hoping to be able to attach the image to the mods should I upload them. And given that the mods cover half a dozen games, the image is not relative to just one game.

Since there is a section on every mod description page for author images, is it too much trouble to upload your image there?

I want to include the image in the Mod Description so it is prominently displayed. When packaging a mod, the images in the description are handled differently than the mod images. Further, sticking the proof of ownership in with the mod images does not guarantee it is seen.

It doesn't need a guarantee that it is seen, it just has to be there to be seen. Who doesn't look at the mod images on the description page?

That is the first thing I look for when opening a page to a new mod. I do that before I even read the description. A picture truly is worth more than a thousand words.

I have politely stated what I intend to do and why, yet you persist. Quite frankly, what you do or don't do is of no consequence to me and has no bearing on my needs. Now, I have zero desire to enter into a debate based on nothing more than your opinion on what I aught to do. I have your input, and I shall exercise my prerogative to ignore it.

The one workaround I can think of is to add the picture to each mod page, where it will show up in the mod page image section.

The series of 5 screenshots, below the Main Banner, unless you could edit the Mod Banners themselves and add your image as a 'watermark' to each Banner image

You can make the image so it shows up in the first spot in the 5 screenshots (for consistency)

Can you not add it to the images section of one of the mods and then include a link to it on the description page of each mod show it shows up there?

I see a fair number of description pages that include images from image hosting services. Unless nexus prevents it you should be able to do the same with the "staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/allthatothergarbage.png" address from the image you upload.

Oh for the love of ... please, stop. I do not need a work around, or a different implementation or a new idea. I know what I need, and I know what I must do. What I do not have is a single place the location to use when upload the image to Nexus.

Now, I would appreciate it if everyone else would keep their opinions to themselves and allow me to continue my discussion with BigBizkit.
