Modthedog Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 I started doing beginner bug fix installment for new Vegas and I had to rename a drive for it to be the letter G for a bug fix mod to work. Later on, I tried playing a different game and it say that it have to reinstall to G drive, is this normal? The video I used for bug fix installment is the combination of Gopher's 2020 beginner bug fix modding and DarkPopulous's How to Mod Fallout New Vegas | Bug Fixes 2021| Mod Organizer 2
HadToRegister Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 There is no such thing about installing to Drive G to fix a bug.
Guest deleted34304850 Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 so rather than set up your vortex correctly, you decided to reinstall all your games on a new drive?good job.
showler Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 According to that screenshot you have a Steam Library inside your New Vegas folder which is inside another Steam Library. You went horribly wrong at some point and will need to clean that up before you even try using Vortex.
HadToRegister Posted July 31, 2021 Posted July 31, 2021 Here maybe this can help a bit. Which of those guides you mentioned told you to install Steam, and then install it again INSIDE the New Vegas Folder.I honestly don't know how you even managed that. You're following a guide for MO2, and you're using Vortex, and that guide has made an absolute MESS of your Steam installation. You should uninstall those games, and uninstall steam, and start over.
