KrZny
Is there an option to see if other's (or the author) have replied to my posts in mod discussions on the mod pages? I end up forgetting which mods I am in conversation about, and feel like there must be something I'm missing, or a glaring deficiency in this communities tools.[edit below] I see on my forum profile it says my post count, but my post history has this to say about it "There have been 6 items by KrZny (Search limited from 23-November 20)" but that is such a short period of time, and I see no way to change this range. robotized
If you started the conversation, meaning you made new comment(not a reply), then you should get notifications when someone replies to that comment.
showler
Comments on the mod page are always part of a single thread started by a bot when the mod page is created. You can't start your own conversation. The search goes back a full year. Is that really too short a time?
robotized
When you ask a question on the mod page and someone answers, isn't that a conversation? I explained what I meant. Anyway, let's not get sidetracked. I checked "My Content" section too, I've got the same limitation. For some reason we can't go back before the 23rd November 2020. KrZny
I have never received a notification on the Nexus page that my comment has been replied to as far as I can see... also, I would sometimes just like to know what mods I have commented on since sometimes conversations arent always going to be in reply format. showler
When you ask a question on the mod page and someone answers, isn't that a conversation? No. Just two linked posts within an already existing forum thread. Everyone is limited to searching back just a year. Longer would bog down the forum search software. If you need to search back further than that, you are pretty much limited to Google site search for your username. Or bookmark any post you make in the forum using the link in the top right of the post (the post number is a direct link to that specific post). M48A5
The listing in "My Contents" is limited to showing any topics that you have made a comment in and someone else made a comment in the past year.If the topic has not had a comment in the past year, it is usually considered a dead thread. This does not mean that the listing is limited to threads that have been started in the past year, but any thread in which you commented and someone else added a comment in the past year. I have a threads listed that go back to 2007 because the thread is still active.
