BHAitken
Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to face the facts about Creation Club and it's inclusion in upcoming mods. As we have just been demonstrated with Skyrim we have to accept that while some items may not be story canon, they will all eventually be part of the next Fallout 4 release. To that end, I would like to suggest the creation of a new Mod Category devoted to Creation Club DLCs. Thank you for your time.
showler
You've likely got three and a half years before it's a possibility. And in Skyrim it was an optional DLC. So, since we've never had categories for optional DLCs, why would we start now?
Gunslinger808
Well, let’s see if they glitch FO4 as badly as they did Skyrim SE.
showler
Glitch it how? There was a script bug in the beginning but they fixed that ages ago.
Gunslinger808
Man, you still shilling about that showler?Quit white knighting for them already, you know as well as I how badly they screwed the pooch on the AE release. It broke the script extender, papyrus, race menu, and lots of legacy mods where their creators either aren’t around or unable to update the mods so are lost to the ages.It crashed a lot (and I mean a LOT) of people’s games, some with thousands of hours and hundreds of mods, and yet you still blamed it on everyone and everything other than Bethesda and creation club. It was an unmitigated disaster.
StormWolf01
Ok, so I'm not trying to get into that particular argument. But I do gotta ask: What happens when a company that has a high reputation for screw ups, bad patches, required community 3rd party fixes, and poor support; is purchased by a company with a LEGENDARY reputation for all of the above? https://www.gamespot.com/articles/microsoft-now-officially-owns-bethesda-in-7-5-billion-purchase/1100-6488574/ But in response to the OP. My opinion is that any mod released that has CC as a requirement will either get patched for a free version alternative, or will not the amounts of downloads that it would, if it did not include the paywall mod requirement.Either that, or it's a mod that is intended to improve upon, add to, or FIX a paid mod that the downloaders already own.
