Pickysaurus
It is not longer required to scan. Just search for the game, click the tile and it will scan for that game specifically.
Scarecrow237
It is not longer required to scan. Just search for the game, click the tile and it will scan for that game specifically. Typing the name of each and every game is time consuming and wasteful when there was a fully functioning option to scan for games in the prior releases. I'm not going to sit on my PC typing in each and every game title one by one. Just bring back the scan button and let Vortex search by itself. Or, better yet, answer the OPs question: "is there a way to change this back or can i reinstall previous vortex"

showler
You do need to type some of the title of the game to search for it in order to initiate the scan. But, you're not going to be managing every game on your computer instantly, so searching for a game when you decide to start modding it is hardly onerous. showler
Well, type or scroll through the available list. Typing seems less annoying, really.

Pickysaurus
You simply find your game in the list and click on it. You should have a rough idea of which games you've installed on your system :)
Luutamo
I just got a new pc and installed vortex on the new pc. Looked through the game list and it seems significantly smaller than before. For example: Hogwarts Legacy is completely missing from the list. As you can see, only 84 games in list https://i.imgur.com/g1O4oDm.png Am I missing something?
