Most of the action games you just don't have the choice to play a female character, which I can forget in a first person perspective. When I have the choice I will play female, because I can identify more closely with the character - it also means I will enjoy a bad game more if at least I become more immersed in the gameworld.

It does bug me a lot when as armour I get consists of three leather triangles strung up with an ittie bittie chain and >shudders< heels, by al means make the stats on females different, but gimme some real armour at least. Its so sadly Hollywood bizzarre-cat-woman-balancing-act, the girl must have knees and ankles if titanium.

At 1.81 metres tall I just have to lift my chin to tower over most of the men around me, in heels I have to do stately, I don't run - thats called prancing or gracefull staggering at best. Even Trinity (Matrix) got shoes you could kick ribs in with.

I only play as male to make the top heavy steel armour and axe warrior pick flowers - they must be real strong because they don't fall over or need to be craned up on top of a horse :whoops:

(I am very surprised... watching the image share of both TesNexus and Fallout3Nexus, I would have assumed, that most people play female characters... Looks like I have been wrong and the reason for almost only female chars in the image share is, that most people who post there play female characters but obviously that does not mean that everybody plays females then... Ah, whatever, I am just really surprised, that s all...)

This always surprises me too. Whenever I've seen polls like this, male characters are always the majority, yet mods consist of 58967685485244807656456467576475645 female bodies and armours to a handful of male items. Where are all theae males? Screenshot threads are 99% anime dolls in a few bits of string. Do players of male characters just not make mods or take screenshots?

As for the poll, I always play male, with male companions. Without exception. I like to play in 3rd-person and as a straight girl, I'd much rather look at a man's butt than a woman's!

Yes, that is somewhat strange. Seems like the general majority of the people who post images of their characters look to be males playing females (and/or females playing females); and there still are males playing males and females playing males, but those groups don't seem to be too active in that area, for some reason.
