Would be practically relevant to cities only.. If the real distance would be measured constantly...

can't imagine the stress on the system...

 

We could create a vampire-like-effect though..Like it will worsen after a certain amount of time...

Now I'm thinking, the distance part isn't really useful, especially because the position of fort fear could not be determined ;).

Sorry to those awaiting the playtesting. Because of some housework i had to do (wiring under the house) and college studies for vicICE, we had little work we can do for the last couple days. So, as a result of the unexpected time not spent on the mod, we are postponing the playtesting date until we are AT the point of playtesting. After that, we will announce it again and choose someone within a day or so. You can still apply to playtest right now, it will only make things go faster when we give a date. We are hoping for a maximum of 3 playtesters, and a minimum of 2.

Well both vicICE and i know apocalypse pretty well so i will say its a safe bet to have him as a playtester. Remember, it wont be ready for a bit though. As for rap.. well. aside from doing you a favor i really dont know you. Idk about vicICE though, thats his call. We want people whom we know to a pretty good extent so we can be absalutely sure nothing bad can come of playtesting. I mean, so far as ive known you your pretty nice.. but umm.. i really just done know you lol. Its vicICE's call.

I mostly don't judge...but you must know that absolutely nothing may be copied/used in any other mods right now..

This is our mod, Ranokoa's idea, build and cluttering...and most of the scripts are made by me...

I personally don't care when they are copied/used after a few weeks after the release... but not ever before....

 

You must both be known of the fact, that it will be no walk in the park. You must check every corner, any spot for problems.

See if the lightning isn't too bright or perhaps not present...

See if any doors will not collide, if any furniture is not clipping and how the overall performance is....

That was the serious part...:)

 

Anyway.. the play-testing is delayed.., like Ranokoa said before...

 

But if you think you're up to it.. you can apply for it right now... (I'm not only talking to Robert ;) )

Id like to playtest, I play oblivion regularly, Id happily spend time testing. I have been a beta tester for a different mod on a different forum(and game) So i have a little experience in spotting bugs. Although im probably not well known enough.

Whether your "well known" enough doesnt matter in your case, slawter, as i also said in the first news bulliton, people WE know as well. I think it would be A OK for you playtest slawter, ill let vicICE be the final judge as he does get a say as well.

 

As for the experience in playtesting.. im warning all the eager now, there is A LOT OF A LOT to look around for and at. I MEAN A LOT! The sheer size of this thing scares me on how the heck i did it all within the hours that i did, so dont think you are just going to go from floor to floor looking around no biggie.. its... big.. And, it will only be bigger by the time we are ready for playtesting :)

Lol.. owk agree with slater.. anyway.. this is not a huge thing...for people not being selected..

We're going to have at at least 2 test-rounds...the second one will be more public...like a beta...

PS: As a reminder, we are still way open to suggestions. Although we know what direction we are going, if you still would like to have something in here that is reasonable then go ahead and say so!

 

Areas open to change by suggestions:

Exteriors

Both evil and good islands

Quests (even starting quest)

Living quarters

The Vault

The Laboratory

The Dungeon (Including dungeon cells, spells, torture chamber, execution chamber, guards house, body dump, and Build a Slave Workshop)

 

Areas not open for change and suggestion:

Temporal Reconfiguration Chamber (mainly because you dont know what it is :) )

Portal Rooms (to mages guilds.)

Weather Control Room

Extreme changes that would make the mod go in a whole different direction, and or would take days beyond days to complete.

 

We are on page 6.. or proly now 7, so i just want to let people know that even though the last time we said we were "open" to suggestions was a while ago, the door has by far not closed.
