minjumaraj7x
Skyrim Se/Ae. Got it off steam. BUG REPORT! I literally just spent days modding my game but....I uninstalled & purged an animation mod & IT'S STILL THERE messing with the mechanics of my game! So much for sticking to vortex. SUGGESTION: PLEASE make it more like MO2 where ALL THE FILES ARE IN ONE PLACE instead of all split up all over the place. Cuz I can't for the life of me find where animation mods are installed! WHY doesn't it simply just uninstall EVERYWHERE when we click uninstall? I.E. why not simply design it that way? ; )The purge feature is not working. At least for animation mods. THIS is why ppl always go back to mo2. Sheesh if y'all wonna compete with mo2 ya might wonna make everything more accessible.
Solution vortexposer Posted August 27, 2023 Solution Share Posted August 27, 2023 (edited) Tools that generate files can be redirected to their own custom output directory (user-made folder) in Vortex staging. showler
And it's up to the tool authors to make it automatically compatible with Vortex. Vortex can't just hijack the files.
Pickysaurus
Vortex will remove all file it deployed itself. Some tools (like Nemesis) don't work very well in that they just dump their outputs directly in the game folder. Tools that allow you to point the output to a specific folder would allow you to make the new files automatically managed by Vortex.
rmm200
Love the FNIS implementation.Every Profile has it's own dedicated FNIS output folder which can be enabled and deployed just like a real mod.If Nemesis does not give you that - complain to Nemesis.
